I have been using Bill for both properties for at least 7 years. He did a commercial restaurant plumbing job and various no heat no water issues over the years. Before Bill I'm sure I was directly responsible for christening many a plumbers' boats and plumber home additions because boy did they rip you off. And most were useless. The cost for the diagnosis was $224.19. The estimate to return & change out the malfunctioning dampener was $836.05. This would have been a total charge of $1,060.24 to replace a faulty $200.00 dampener. Our regular HVAC tech recovered, stopped & replaced the dampener for a total of $385.00. This included re-diagnosing the problem, parts & labor. Problem solved. I would never use Carl Volkman & sons HVAC LLC again. Their prices are exorbitant & unfair.

He cut the old drain pipe, replaced it with the required "gap drain" (plastic drain cup) and "installed" a brace to the floor with two screws. Total cost: $610.00. When we called back about the problem, Scott answered the phone saying "What's up jerk?" and threatened to have "many people" leave bad reviews of our new business.
