History

Established in 2012.

The journey began in 1998 when Dr. Smith started medical school in Dayton, Ohio. After four years of medical school, he and his family moved to Columbus, Ohio to pursue a residency in pediatrics. As the son of a family doc, he always pictured that as his path. However, Dr. Smith quickly recognized how much he enjoyed working with children because of the potential they possess and the ability to instill healthy habits early in life. Dr. Smith moved to Sartell in 2005 and has since enjoyed becoming a part of the community. He is excited to practice in the town he's grown to love and call home.

Meet the Business Owner: David S.

Dr. David Smith opened Sartell Pediatrics in October 2012. After practicing in the area for over seven years, he saw an opportunity in the community to provide a more personalized pediatric experience for patients and their families. Since opening, the practice has grown to include two additional healthcare providers, as well as a child psychologist, and remains the only independent pediatric practice in Central Minnesota.
