Combo A: Choice of meat with lumpia, pancit and rice
Richie D.

Well I guess I have to drive up to Lompoc or Santa Maria for Filipino food from now on... As a nurse originally from Chicago, I was spoiled by all the free delicious Asian food spread throughout the break room table at every shift. Then I relocate to Santa Barbara and find myself craving those cuisines and SOL. This evening I finally got my fix at Lompoc's Food Truck Friday! Of course I have previously heard about Sarrrap via Instagram. This made it easy when deciding which one of the 16 food trucks I'd be having for dinner. Upon walking up to Sarrrap, I was greeted with a smile and given a brief intro to the menu. I ordered their Combo A Plate which comes with lumpia (vegetable or pork), pancit noodles, rice (or upgraded fried rice), and choice of meat. The lumpia were delectable and perfectly fried with fresh ingredients inside. The BBQ chicken sticks were also so flavorful with a pleasant charred taste. I can't wait til I can make it up to north county, or they're serving up at a local Goleta business, for another run.

Old Town Lompoc doesn't seem like the best neighborhood, but this restaurant is worth the trip…read more However, according to those who know the area, it is safe enough to walk in and the restaurant is a block from the police station. We drove over from Solvang on state highway 246, which was nice because we got to avoid the rush hour traffic and construction on 101. The round trip is not bad. The service was excellent. Iliana our server was very nice and attentive. We got the chicken and meatball soup and the pan seared salmon. The soup was just ok, not bad, but not super exciting. The salmon was excellent. It is normally served with hollandaise sauce, spinach, and mushroom over mashed potatoes. We subbed the potatoes for more veggies. The veggies were well seasoned, salmon coked well, and sauce was a nice compliment. Their Diet Coke cups were huge. They only have one toilet and someone was in there a super long time when we wanted to leave, so plan wisely if you need to go. We had to hold it all the way home. The lot has adequate parking. The bar is only beer and wine. The restaurant is not super visible coming from the east, so listen to your map app when to turn. We had a good experience and would come back when in the area again. Recommend you give them a try.

We called Mangan food truck to ask about their catering service and were DELIGHTED to find they offered adobo, lechon kawali, pork and chicken bbq skewers, pancit, sisig, beef caldereta, kare-kare, lumpia, dinuguan, inihaw na bangus, desserts and more!! Basically everything you could think of to satisy any Filipino food cravings! Mangan arrived at the event hall promptly with over 12 trays of food to feed 100 people and everything went like clockwork! An employee stayed onsite and ensured that trays were refilled when they got low and nobody wanted for anything. We didn't have a single worry and the food was absolutely on point and consumed with great relish by Filipino food connoisseurs who are very, very VERY picky about what we eat!! Nobody walked away hungry, and even the non-Filipinos in the crowd expressed their satisfaction with their meal! There was so much food leftover we had a great after-party that night as well. The price was incredibly reasonable and the caterers were beyond polite, helpful and kind. It really was like being served by family! We give our wholehearted recommendation to this business and can't wait to book again!!
