Who suggests this to a customer? My dog has no health issues and acts like a young dog. I just wanted the area treated properly the first time. The cleaner was quick, professional and did pull a bunch of lint out from our venting. Our new dryer is working more efficiently. The negative is by far the cost. It was $39.99, just for them to come out to our house and provide an estimate. I was told over the phone that they would charge for the length of the venting (20 feet) to the dryer and what floor the vent was on (we have a ranch). If we agreed to the estimate, they would then clean the vent. We were charged a $149.99 flat rate to clean the vent. This was not $149.99 worth of work. So, in the end, it cost us $198 to have one dryer vent cleaned.
