I am a former customer - I called to have some outlets looked at or replaced back in June or July…read more They returned my initial inquiry call (nice guy) but when it came to actually scheduling the work, they never called me back despite my leaving another message to hire them. Maybe my job was too small or maybe they are too busy...who knows? So while I can't review their electrical service, (was always good in the past) the only thing I can review now is their lack of customer service. Unfortunate.

We had issues with a wall oven shorting out and KW came and checked it all out. The initial…read moreinstallers did not secure the wiring correctly and it caused several problems. All was found and fixed on the electrical side. But we had to replace the oven. KW came out and moved the junction box and set everything up for the installers per the new oven requirements. A slight deviation with the new oven came up when it was delivered and it would be necessary for the junction box to be adjusted so the oven was flush with the cabinet. KW came within hours and solved the issue and finished the oven install. At each step of the way we were treated with utmost respect, consideration, and kindness. None of it was an emergency, but we were fit into the schedule to get things done. All went above and beyond to get us situated, safe, and up and running. Extreme care in how they worked and considered all things that needed to be done. We moved to Plymouth a few years ago - K-W Electric will be our go to for all our electrical service needs. Luedtke did our electric for our new construction home (April 2016) and everything was good or so I…read morethought. The other day, our garage door would not open due to a circuit breaker shorting out in the garage. I would reset it and it would short out every 3 seconds . Not even 8 months and it shorted out already. Guy comes out the following day and says it's because of all the xmas lights we have. When we built the house we had an extra switch in our front closet out there to prevent things like this from ever happening. Clearly it was not installed correctly. Besides, the previous two nights before this happened, we did not have the lights turned on. A few days later we get a bill in the mail for $91. We call and talk to a guy( I think name was Brandon but I'm not sure ) and was very rude about it and said it wasn't covered in the warranty. After being on the phone for a while they finally came to their senses. Living in the area most of my life people have always had good things to say about Luedtke electric, but not today. What good is a company or business that won't even honor a warranty for a brand new home that's less than 9 months old. If we ever get a new home or decide to move again... I would make sure to not use this company.
