Did a good job installing my new vinyl floors. Satisfaction ends there. The workers did a pathetic job of putting back my closet doors and baseboards (which they damaged, left nails sticking out, and completely lost one piece). I contacted the representative I had been working with and they arranged for a service call in early March. The service agent looked at what needed to be done and said he'd need to re-schedule to come and do the work. Haven't heard back since! I'm done chasing after them and taking time out of my day to have them fix something that should have been done right in the first place. Terrible customer service. read more

To say that we're unhappy with the sale of, then install of the flooring from Sarmazian's is an understatement. We were advised by our contractor to have Sarmazian's install the laminate flooring as they are the professionals and would do the best job. Well, the install job was atrocious (identical planks installed side-by-side) and the product was even worse. Huge blemishes on at least 25% of the planks that were installed. The manufacturer of the flooring used their fine print to explain away these blemishes and took zero accountability. The sample we viewed at Sarmazian's didn't show these blemishes at all. Steer clear of 12 Oaks flooring! Sarmazian's took zero accountability for the install, stating that the planks are packaged randomly so the installer doesn't need to lay out rows before installing. I have installed laminate flooring before and know the only way to do this is to lay out at least 5 rows at a time to ensure duplicates are as far away from each other as possible. Also, when we were shopping for product, we made it very clear that we didn't want product that was made in China and was assured by the Sarmazian's sales rep that it was a Canadian company. To find out, after the flooring was installed, that it is manufactured in China!!! Our home has been poisoned by this product. They had us completely over a barrel and I will never buy from Sarmazian's again. I caution you to choose your flooring provider carefully, don't just take someone's word or recommendation. read more

Hi I have been pleased with my numerous purchases from Sarmazian. All my purchases have been through Isabelle who is very pleasant, compitant, and eager to help. I have never felt pressured and when I was not sure she asked Jared for his opinion. End result I went with their suggestion and was very pleased. I am drawn to a business where I am greeted with a smile and an engaging employee. I feel Isabelle goes above and beyond for her customers and with Bigelow across the road the customers have a choice. Was happy up until the install. I got a Armstrong Vinyl tile floor installed with grout in kitchen, entryway and powder room. Decent product and it looked good the first day until air bubbles in the grout started. In the 289 sq feet there was at least 20 places with air bubbles and bad grouting. The installer told me that there may be some but I could fix them myself or call! There was also a cut in one of the tiles. The installer must have cut through it when he was trimming another tile. The problem is he did not repair it, ... and probably hoped we would not find it. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Then we got a 226 sq foot oak hardwood floor for the living room. I was talked into random lengths, ... which sounded fine but the pieces used were like scraps from another job where there is hardly a long piece in the whole floor. Also, ... the seams are lined up in several spots instead of random pattern. When I spoke to the sales rep I was told he thought it was fine. For $9.50 a square foot installed I expected a professional job. I thought I would spend the extra money to get a professional job but I would have been better getting the same product for half the money at the big box store and getting it installed by a professional. I would never hire Sarmazian again! Live and learn! If I was you I would avoid this place! read more

Would not recommend. Was told 4 days work - it took them 16 days. Many no shows, they ran out of wood twice, used my garage and damaged my furniture that was carefully stored there. They scratched my kitchen kickplate and cupboards, damaged doorway trim, punched holes in a door, kitchen peninsula and my drywall. Still waiting for compensation for damages over 2 weeks after the job was finally completed. I wish I had gone elsewhere. read more

Worst experience ever...EVER. Worst Customer service EVER!!! We bought 997,12 SF X $3.10 SF Radiant Luster by Shaw and is like we baught paper, shiny paper. Manny Ansourian - Sales Manager, told us is Chinese laminate floor, what we should expect ! Here is what he's saying in his profile : "My role as Sales Manager goes far beyond managing or selling. My job is fulfilled when I have a satisfied customer and they keep coming back for more business and send their friends and family. I enjoy my job because each happy client adds another happy chapter in my career in flooring". Do you believe that? I did, until I came back to tell him about this floor and he told me is my fault I bought it. We are disappointed with what is going on and are questioning our choice of Sarmazian. We did nothing wrong, other than chose this company. We bought this laminate flooring because of the quality, thickness and warranty associated with but we have now paper laminate. read more
