Dr. Said has been caring for my 89-year-old father and 83-year-old mother for several years now, and we couldn't be more grateful. He is extremely thorough and very informative, always taking the time to sit down and explain everything in a way that is easy to understand. If something isn't clear, he patiently goes over it again until we feel comfortable. He takes every precaution with their care, and it shows in the way he handles each appointment. The entire staff is also wonderful--friendly, professional, and very helpful. They make every visit smooth and stress-free. We feel very fortunate to have Dr. Said as their cardiologist and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for excellent, compassionate care. read more

Dr. Sarmad Said put in a pacemaker with one of the leads unattached. I was in a tremendous amount of pain, it hurt to breath. During my follow-up appointment with Dr. Said he did not take the time to check the pacemaker at all. He got very defensive and told me my pain could be from any number of things, kidneys, gall bladder etc. When I reiterated that the pain began after the pacemaker was put in he just dismissed me and said it wasn't the pacemaker and to get a second opinion. Upon getting a second opinion, I found out that the pacemaker wasn't put in properly. I then had surgery to remove the pacemaker which resolved the pain. I learned that I did not need the pacemaker in the first place and that the doctor that removed it has been cleaning up Dr. Said's mistakes for years. What I did need was an ablation, which solved my problem. Dr. Said went from being nice before surgery, to hostile and arrogant afterwards. Worst experience ever. read more

Wait time is ridiculous. Staff is cold and unfriendly. Don't bother asking about the wait it just makes them more unpleasant.

I like Dr Said very much. It is the lack of communication with his front office that I have a problem with. I had to call them 3 times to get an appointment that I should have had 2 months ago. They kept promising to return my calls but I never heard from them. Hey, it's only my heart, no big deal right?? My last visit showed high blood pressure. I don't think his staff cares about their patients health issues. I never received an apology. They just wanted to move on when I mentioned how long I've been waiting for an appointment. I plan to have a talk with Dr Said at my next visit since his staff did not care to discuss it. read more

Dr. Sarmad Said is an excellent cardiologist. I can honestly say he saved my brothers life. Dr. Said is very thorough, kind, and knowledgeable. He takes his time to explain things and is never in a hurry to walk out of room. I can honestly say that he genuinely cares about his patients. My brother used to see another cardiologist and completely missed something major. I strongly recommend Dr. Said. Dr. Said's staff is super friendly and professional it's easy to schedule appointments and wait time in seating area is about 15 min we are usually out within an hour. It also has a convenient lab station which is open to the public. read more

This is BY FAR the worst, most unprofessional drs office I've ever dealt with. I've waited 7 months for this dr to review simple test results. I have numerous health issues and he refuses to release my results to my other drs. My medical treatments need to be coordinated but bc this office cares so little for the health and well being of their patients, that can't happen. They will let patients die before they would do the right thing. Please go somewhere else!! Your life depends on it! read more

Dr. Said was given my case while I was a patient in the hospital. And I could not feel any more lucky to be his patient. He tells you what you need to hear plain and blunt, which is what I look for in a doctor. (I don't need any sympathy, I just need a doctor that can figure out the problem and give me good care). He is very knowledgeable and truly cares for his patients. He never rushed any of my appointments and explained everything very thorough. I would not recommend this doctor unless you are interested in being over charged for tests not needed.

My first visit with Dr. Said in Exeter. He was very personable and for the first time a cardiologist who didn't take 5 minutes to tell me that I was ok. First to tell me he needs more info before diagnosing me. I also felt like he really cared about my health. read more

I was very impressed with Dr. Said. He was attentive and really listened to me. Five stars for this man, he is now my cardiologist.

I waited in a stuffy waiting room for an hour and a half to see the Doctor for 4-5 minutes. That did not impress me much. I was told that a stress test on my heart would be warranted. It's been a month and I have not heard from the office so I called them and left a message. Figured for the amount I paid for the consultation that they would have called me to schedule the test. Maybe my experience will be better at my next appointment, if they call me back to schedule it. read more
