Middle East Market - Bulk by weight ($11.75/lb) assorted candies. I saw a rose petal covered Turkish delight and loved it. They charged me 75¢.

Went here to get supplies to make that famous Dubai chocolate bar…read more The shop looks tiny from the outside but they really have a lot of stock inside. The family running the place was very friendly and helpful. We came here a few days after visiting Kaloo in Warwick. We bought the pistachio Dubai bar in Kahloo and they charged $14. Here at the Middle East Market they charged $9 for the same bar. Plus I feel like they more fluent in English at this store than Kaloo. You can find middle eastern home goods, spices, baked treats, drinks, sweets, international candies (found Flake bars from the UK), meal starter spice/seasoning mixes, frozen foods, and more. On the other side of the store they have smoke shop supplies and more bodega type stuff like snacks, refrigerated drinks, and other impulse buys. I can't really eat carbs anymore but a rose petal covered Turkish delight caught my eye. It was in the bulk candy section which they charge $11.75 per pound. The owner charged me 75¢ for my 1 piece and when I went home to weigh it it came out to almost the same price. All of the jars on the shelves were neatly arranged on the shelves. You could tell that they take great pride in the upkeep of the store. The shop is a little bit off the main road so it's easy in and out. Hope to visit this shop again soon!

Middle East Market - Very neatly stocked shelves. Some aisles were a bit cluttered but that only adds to the authentic charm

I wanted to take my pastries back to my hotel room and live in sweet indulgent bliss. However, my husband is a huge nerd and anime happens to be one of his afflictions and there was a mural on the side of a wall that he wanted to take a picture at. After the photo, we noticed some fun Japanese items in the windows of the store by the mural, so we decided to just come on in and take a look. Wow! This shop was fantastic!!! I fell in love with Japanese stuff when I was a child and this place is a wonderland of food and items. I was actually kind of jealous because I haven't even been able to find some of the fun stuff that I wanted to try from social media in Las Vegas (and we have a lot of Japanese stores in Las Vegas). The shelves are lined quite nicely and the person working was pretty nice. Overall, I'd come in quite a bit if I lived in this neighborhood.
