This location of Crumbl is in East Greenwich Square. East Greenwich Square has many other shops like Dave's Fresh Marketplace and Chase. This was my first time having Crumbl but have heard great things. Parking is very easy and you should have no problem finding a spot. Crumbl offers a unique weekly rotating menu of cookies and desserts. During the week of Sep 2 - 7, they offered: Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunk; Strawberry Shortcake Cookie (Chilled); Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunk; Banana Bread; Triple Chocolate Chip; The Afterlife Cake (in honor of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice movie); and Churro. When you walk into Crumbl, there are two self order kiosks that you can order from (one was out of order when we went). I ordered the Strawberry Shortcake Cookie and Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunk. The kiosk was easy to use. The staff apologized for the delay as they were making the Strawberry Shortcake Cookie fresh. I saw the employees putting the whip cream and strawberry jam on each cookie. The store is not very big so when there are people ordering and people waiting for their order, it can feel cramped. When ready, the cookies came in the iconic pink box. The Strawberry Shortcake Cookie was a cakey cookie topped with silky whipped cream, freshly chopped strawberries, and a house-made strawberry jam. The Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunk was a chunky chocolate chip cookie filled with semi-sweet chocolate chunks and a sprinkle of flaky sea salt. Both cookies were delicious, fresh, and warm. She said while rolling her eyes at me they will be changing the label soon to include eggs. Strange. Then she said the Biscoitos had butter in them even though the label said margarine. Then she said no it's margarine. So I asked if the cornbread had margarine in it instead of butter. She rolled her eyes and said she would ask in the back. When she came back said it was yellow butter. I asked if that was margarine. She said she only sells the bread but doesn't know what's in them. I have dealt with language barriers but not only was the information unclear, non consistent, but the eye rolling and rushed non answers were unacceptable. I won't be spending my money here.
