I have never had one complaint. However, I am extremely disappointed with the Clifton Rehab facility. This facility is a safe and secure facility where people can get decent care, but they don't take criticism very well. The staff is mostly per diems, so the caregivers differ from day to day and have no baseline frame of reference. I also think they focus on filling beds instead of what is best for the patient. My father had been a patient there over the summer to receive physical therapy, and while the medical reports indicated he needed all sorts of assistance and probably would not be able to return to assisted living, it was simply not true. He was actually quite able bodied, but when they can get you to pay for beds in both facilities, why not? I was then pressured by Izze Lawton, to switch my father from his managed group health insurance in to Medicare, because it would guarantee him 90 days of care. While it appeared to be well-meaning, friends warned me the facility was looking for a blank check. Fast forward to now, where my father needs another short term rehab stay. I was not thrilled with this facility, but it's safe and convenient, so I agreed to another stay at this facility, where apparently we are banned due to my having expressed my honest concerns. They literally rescinded the bed offer after speaking with me. Shame on Clifton and the ownership for denying long-term residents of the assisted living facility access to the whole Clifton "family" campus. It's truly disgusting behavior and showcases the heartlessness of the management of the rehab.

We had tried many meds and pretty much everything else with no luck, but he started seeing improvements after just a few visits with Jaime Goss. He went 18 months without a migraine. Completely life changing for a kid who had them non-stop! Unfortunately, my son suffered a serious head injury last Fall, and the hospital suggested PT. They referred him to another, but I wanted Jaime if possible since she helped so much before and I trust her. I emailed to see if she treated his type injury, and she replied within minutes despite us not having seen her in well over a year. She helped tremendously with his balance, pain, and other related issues. My son's brain injury specialist told me recently how impressed she is with Jaime's thoroughness, detailed reports, and the amazing progress my son made in a relatively short time and that she'll be referring patients to her. Jaime is caring, knowledgeable, and thorough, and the office staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Bay State PT!

No feedback is ever given, they just keep having you do the same exercises despite no improvement. No actual measurements checking for progress are done. They are just on automatic. I have had a number of relatives and a great many of my assisted living residents there at Somerset Ridge, and frankly, they are always at the very top of my reference list should someone ask. Very rarely does a patient move along to long-term care when they rehab here. In most cases, they return home with ancillary therapies. Both the admin and the direct care staff are top of the line, easy to interact with, and place their patients' welfare first. I cannot say that for very many of the other rehab facilities, but Somerset Ridge is most assuredly at the apex of their field.

You go out to the desk the buzzer is ringing and most times one is on the personal cell phone, another is just sitting there looking at the computer and another just there with no concern of the call button ringing. If it's an emergency than you're out of luck cuz no one cares. Such a sad situation for the most vulnerable.

Mom can be a tough broad at times, but this team overlooks it and treats her with respect and care. The head nurse of North (Stephanie) has gone way above and beyond. She moved mountains to make sure mom has everything she needs; and has the staff making sure mom is engaged in activities and doing PT in her room when she is able to. It would be nice if they had daily group exercise activities, but one step at at time....literally..lol. Cissy is Mom's new best friend. She takes the time to sit with mom even after her shift has ended. Mom is not a happy camper with the food, but she's also really picky so I didn't take a star off for that.

My grandmother stayed in this nursing home for years (at her own request) until finding herself in an assisted living home which was much better. She told us stories of nurses not caring about people, not taking proper care of them, not changing them when they needed to be changed, and sometimes even physical abuse. Her clothes and personal belongings got stolen several times, her medication was messed up several times, and when she needed any medical or personal attention, the nurses never seemed to care and always sent her to the hospital instead of dealing with it themselves. They truly don't care about their job and a whole new staff should replace them. I didn't want to believe any of this until my sister, who a temp nurse, worked there this past weekend and said she has NEVER seen anything like it. All of my grandmother's stories were true. The place isn't up to code on ALMOST EVERYTHING. Do not bring your loved one to THIS kindred location. It may be the worst in the whole state.

When I was presented with a choice of 3 NH to choose from I did not hesitate to choose Crawford for the care of my Mom. The Nurses, CNA's, Social Work Department, discharge planning, Occupational and Physical therapy departments were great. My mother was treated with respect and dignity and was well cared for. The Nurses answered my questions and addressed my concerns satisfactorily. Mom especially liked bingo! Other Residents and families reached out to help my Mom adjust to her new surroundings. I would like to especially thank Laura & Melissa (nurses) Jess and Paulina (CNA's), Connie from Social Work Department and Melissa from discharge planning.These individuals are caring, compassionate and helped me to have peace of mind while my Mom was there. We have a family member who is recuperating here after a back surgery and from the day she entered this skilled nursing facility, she has bee treated well. Every staff member here is well trained and it is clear that this is a patient oriented facility. Additionally, the food at this facility is great and overall the atmosphere is positive. We have been to other establishments that put off a sense of "doom and gloom", and hands down this place surpasses them. In the end, if you have a choice in which rehabilitation program you want to attend on Cape, this is the one!

Please!!! Do not put your loved one here! My family member…read morewas there after a stroke. PT, OT and speech was almost nonexistent and what was give was subpar. The ability to ambulate was almost forgotten, meal times were a joke!! Patients that required feeding waited, if still in bed their meal stayed in the day room cold! Unless a complaint was made toileting didn't happen. Patients that weren't quiet were in reclining chairs as not to get up. Patients were left in urine if family members weren't there to advocate. In my opinion there are only a few good staff, they were short staff on weekends and the nursing staff except for med passing doesn't really interact with patients except if the patient is in front or behind the nurses desk. My family member regressed significantly in the month there. Black and blue marks from her head to her feet, sore on her foot, bruise on her forehead from a fall... it was heart breaking! Please don't put your loved one there and if you do be the biggest loudest advocate and keep your eyes open. The overall appearance is deplorable, needs painting, patient rooms need update, day room has little to no chairs and what they have are torn. Out side seating is horrible and most of the time people are out there smoking. Elevators were broken for weeks, activities were coloring or word search ( for stroke and dementia patients).
