I was in the area for a weekend retreat. I was not expecting a Thai restaurant in the Middle of Nowhere Missouri but there they are. The place is casual dining with minimalist decor. This is probably because they invest all of their energy into serving some pretty awesome food. I was thankful to be with an adventurous companion. We decided to try several different items. The fried tofu could have had a little more flavor, but it was crispy and the sauce was excellent. The egg rolls were also delicious. For the main course, we went with a mango special. The sauce was amazing! The seafood tender and juicy. I did note the rice was not true sticky rice, but I'm probably the only person who noticed this so.... The pineapple fried rice is absolutely amazing!! Juicy chicken toasty cashews and some tempura shrimp. We didn't have much leftover. The service will is reasonable given this is a small family restaurant. Adult kids working the dining room and running the food while the elders are in back serving it up! We stopped to get some take out at this location so I can't speak to the dine in service, but overall the location has good spaced out seating and the employees are very nice. On a road trip, and stopped off in the small town of West Plains, MO. There aren't a lot of places to eat around, and the reviews on Yelp for the few places they have weren't the greatest. We chose this spot based on reviews and were pleasantly surprised. As the reviews said, this spot does have excellent food and odd service. The server was attentive, and we were seated immediately, but she had no personality or enthusiasm and made no suggestions. It's a small town, so not really an issue for us. The place was clean, and the food came out fast and piped hot. I had the Sapz Fire Beef, it was delicious! I highly recommend it. For those who enjoy very spicy food they can easily accommodate any palate too. Great little hole in the wall restaurant that my wife and I found on our way from FL to KS. Food was delicious, restaurant was spacious and not too overcrowded although decorations were sparse and kind of looked like they just opened. The place felt and looked clean and tidy. The wait staff could have been a bit more friendly and hospitable, but that's fine because we were there for the food really and it didn't disappoint. We had the steamed dumplings, Pad Thai, coconut curry soup with chicken and the LARB salad. All of it tasted good, fresh and it came out of the kitchen fairly quick! read more

We stopped here on our way home to Springfield from Atlanta, GA. We needed food, but there was no known restaurants in the area, so we gave this a chance. What a GEM. I am a bit conflicted about how to write this review. Excellent food! But I put a tip on the card like many do. However, I found out later the waitress does not get the tip if it is on the card because she makes $14 an hour. The owners keep the card tips. If she goes down to $6 an hour she gets more of those tips. And if they get cash tips they have to split them between all of the employees. I am a local to this town. And I believe that the people who manage to get tips should be able to keep their tips. It doesn't matter if it comes from a card or cash. They earned those tips! I don't believe they should have to split that tip, or get their tip taken away just because of the amount of money that they make. I feel very bad for these employees! Love the food love to the drinks but for as much money as I spent that waitress should have gotten her tip! She was excellent! My suggestion for people, is to ask them how they're going to get their tips. I am going to start asking this at any and every restaurant that I go to. That's not fair. read more
