There are varying levels of obstacles and zip lines on every course. Our favorite course was the zip line course, as it goes the highest into the trees and has the most speed for the thrill seekers :) The workers were helpful when needed, but mostly hands off otherwise. Because of the cool lock and safety system, it's really impossible to mess it up (unless you just totally don't clip in at all) and so easy to use and slide along from obstacle to obstacle. (see pics) We stayed for about 3 hours and enjoyed every bit of it! Highly recommended :) *Note - during the holidays, they have specials at a pretty big discount to buy tickets for the spring when they open.

We had someone who last minute could not come and we planned on just eating the cost of their reservation as it was considered a same day cancel, we had no expectations at all. As we checked in, without a prompt to credit us, the check-in lady said "well we don't usually do refunds for same day cancels but how abt I apply that reservation fee towards a picture package and water shoe rentals?" We were pleasantly shocked! That was above and beyond customer care and I have worked in the customer service industry for years! The reservations included your PFDs and a warm water shirt if you chose to wear one. The training was informative and light hearted. No scare tactics just some good ole jokes and fun while learning to stay safe out on the water. Our tour guide, James, was funny, full of fun facts, and knew how to keep us safe but laughing the entire trip down the river. If you're on the fence about taking this adventure...don't be! NOC has got you covered!

Knowing we were beginners on the four wheelers, he constantly looked back to make sure we were comfortable & having fun. Stopped off a few times for an earful of knowledge, feeding a few animals & climbing a tower with a beautiful overlook (aside from a cell tower, the mountainous view was great. Felt bad for the horses. Even though they were shaded, wished they had fans running to cool off while in their stalls. That particular day, the air was heavy & hot with no breeze. Any other day I'm guessing there's a cool breeze blowing through. Wouldn't recommend playing corn hole as the floor was heavily littered with goat crap. Handling the corn bags means you're also handling goat shit. No running water till ya return back to the office.

I loved that they encouraged us to try different positions and trust the ropes. Check in process was great and the additional picture opportunities were great. I'd love to try their second location.
