When those final weeks hit, she emerged like Mariah Carey the day after Thanksgiving and took over everything! It was as a sight to behold. She ran a cadre of vendors graceful as a symphony conductor. She thought of everything and missed nothing. Last minute decor adjustments, keeping me fed, my husband on time, running for the missing wedding ring. It was a pleasure to have her as part of the process and the day. Her level of attention to detail usually comes with a rigid type-A personality. But her management and people skills are as exceptional as her coordination. I first discovered Events n Chill (formerly Picnic n Chill) on a CNBC segment and thought it would be a great idea for some sort of special event. When it came time to thinking of a way to propose to my then-girlfriend, Events n Chill was still bouncing around in my head so I looked into more details about their Proposal package. Although the cost is pretty steep, Events n Chill were very quick to respond with options, as well as addressing any additional questions I had. Appointments are booked and paid for through their website, and additional follow-ups and requests are quickly addressed through email. In addition to the package itself, they offer a variety of additional add-ons for additional costs. But even without any addition items, the "basic" setup that comes with your selected package is still gorgeous and personalized to your request. On the day of, you'll receive a text with a drop-pin with the GPS location of your picnic setup. Since it was a proposal and I obviously wanted it to be a surprised, they did an amazing job getting all the details of my request down including having a photographer that popped out of nowhere (she was very well hidden) right as I got down on one knee to propose. Queuing up the music as we approached the carpet. As well as personalized signage displayed and ready to go. Oh, and she said YES! Jocelyn did a really great jobs with the pictures, and was professional and engaging throughout. She was great in suggesting different poses, selecting areas and angles with better lighting, and making us feel at ease while she snapped away. The only complaint we had about the entire process was how long it took to eventually get all of our photos. While Jocelyn was quick to send a selection of photos she took that day, we noted there were several key shots that were omitted from the album provided. Follow-up emails and texts asking if she could release a few more pictures sadly went completely unanswered for over 2 weeks before thankfully, she responded and shared the entire portfolio of pictures taken that day.

We had an incredible experience celebrating an early Father's Day! Even with a late 3:20 PM tee…read moretime on a busy day, the course conditions on the Old Course were excellent and impressively well-kept--everything from the tee boxes to the bunkers and the greens held up great. I had booked our tee times well in advance, but there was a bit of a miscommunication on the books when we arrived, and the staff seemed surprised by our family check-in. Honestly, Nate was the absolute MVP of the day. Without him, our day would have been ruined. So, we truly appreciate him and we were so grateful that he went above and beyond to get us completely taken care of, ensuring our family was able to stick together and play/spectate as a group for the whole round. We timed the day perfectly, wrapping up on the 18th hole right around 8 PM. To cap off a great day, we had dinner at The Conservatory. The customer service there was top-notch, and the food was exceptional. My dad enjoyed it so much that he already wants to come back to try out the Ocean Course next time--hopefully with a more organized situation at check-in!
