It's our go to spot when in Combate, Cabo Rojo! Every time we come here we always get the stuff mofongo with either some type seafood or churrasco. Service is always really good and they are always nice and attentive even when taking care of large parties (we had party of 12). It's all outdoor covered dining which gives a really nice vibe since you're right next to the beach walking distance. Highly recommend the empanadas also and can't go wrong with the mix appetizer dish which is plenty to share with a large party. read more

Food was good I had the fried fish fillet. Beer was cold and the service was decent. A no frills spot and not much to look at visited primarily by locals. No AC and a series of fans for cooling. read more

Good location walking distance from beach. No view. Food was great but only had appetizers. Empanada and the small sampler were great and more than sufficient for two people. Service was a bit slow but normal for the location. read more

All the appetizers and entrees we had were plenty and delicious. We left with a doggie bag; they don't skimp on portions here. Everything was made fresh and beautifully presented and pipping hot. Wonderful flavor. Pedro made some killer pina coladas; one of the best we had in the island. Only drawback is that parking on the weekends or during holidays can be a challenge. The entire strip was packed. Highly recommend this restaurant. read more

Fresh seafood, portions are on the larger side and well priced. Wait time varies on how busy they are and what is ordered. Been coming here for years when I visit the island. Highly recommend. read more

One star because I had to choose one. Servers with an attitude and lousy service. Food was nothing special. Ordered four appetizers and got three. Tried to cancel the fourth one and after asking the waitress twice, had to ask to speak to the manager to get it canceled. Now because of the waitress bad attitude people that got here after us are getting their food before us. These is one of the reasons that our island fails to move ahead. Bad Attitude and bad service! read more

We had a variety of pastelillos (empanadas): shrimp, lobster, chicken, and meat. All were a nice size and had plenty of filling. My husband ordered a mofongo of yuca and fish in criolla sauce. The mofongo seemed to be a mix of yuca and plantain though but it was good either way. Service was good and they have clean restrooms. Also, we ate at the indoor space just to catch a break from the extreme heat. read more

Service was unbelievably terrible. We arrived at 3:20 pm on a Friday. We ordered at 3:30. After we ordered, about three more tables placed their order. They were in the same outdoor area where we sat. The waiter did not bother to check on us and finally at 4:15 we asked where our food was. We were told the food was almost done. By 4:20 our appetizers arrived (fried chicken pieces). At 4:30, we told the waiter we would have to leave because we had an appointment with the Paradise boat tour company to do a bio bay tour at 6 pm and we had to drive back to Lahas. They told us to wait just a few minutes. In the meantime, we saw the three tables that ordered after us get served. They had complicated meals and at least six platters were brought out to them. We waited another 10 minutes and still no food. I talked to the owner and explained that the other three tables ordered after us and how was it possible that their food was served and we still did not have our main course. He said "I have no idea because I didn't take your order". Seriously? Finally the food arrived and we had to pack it up in a to go box. Don't bother with this place unless you place zero value on your time. read more
