The spanakopita was rich and both soups were lovely. We had the Zeus place and it was great for 2-3 people to split. I recommend getting salad with the meat and rice dishes because the veggies make it come together beautifully. Shrimp was a little bland, but the other meats were very tasty. There isn't much to say here in terms of ambiance. This place is a little off the beaten path, nested in a strip mall situation, the decor is bare bones, two walls are an alarming shade of blue, yadda yadda. But let me tell you. This was the best meal we've had BY FAR on our trip in Hot Springs. The avgolemono soup is exactly the way my grandmother made it, sans oyster crackers (if you know, you know)- the Santorini sampler with the pita bread is magical. I ordered the moussaka and have zero regrets. My boyfriend got the grilled lamb souvlaki and it was so delicious. The portions are large, I had to take home quite a bit of food- but I'll be eating like a queen on my leftovers. This was also the fastest and most competent service we've had in this town. She was friendly, attentive, asked if we needed things (which is oddly a rarity here) and we were in an out in a 40 minute time frame, which is perfect because we were exhausted from being on the lake all day. Tomorrow is Labor Day but we've already discussed that if they're open, we'll be going back and we're usually staunch on not revising the same place twice when we travel. It's that good. Lunch today at Santorini was simply great. Maybe the best hummus I've ever eaten and the falafels were light and flavorful. The Greek salad was huge and I added the gyro meat (which came as a separate huge plate of meat!) my wife had the Greek bruschetta appetizer as a main dish and she couldn't even finish it the portions are so large. Did I mention the large portions? The interior is clean and open, but the blue painted covers for the fluorescent lighting was kinda odd. We will be back and often. I proclaim myself a foodie, and finding incredible spots in Arkansas is near impossible. But Santorini is incredible. Owned by an Albanian family (who also own Mama's Little Italy), they know what they are doing regarding flavor, portion size, and presentation. I often order the Santorini Combo appetizer. The amount of fat in these appetizers is a godsend. The pita is made from scratch daily, and though I can't eat gluten, you can tell its quality. The falafel is moist and crisp; their lamb is to die for. Their rice is lemony, and each grain is separate. Hopefully, one day, I can substitute for the Zeus Platter -- I can't eat pork, but everything else will be quickly devoured. I've been here at least four times and have no plans of stopping. Wow! Amazing Greek food in Hot Springs, Arkansas- the best we've had! The spanakopita and falafel were both great appetizers, and the moussaka was out of this world. My husband ordered the Greek sampler and loved it. The gyro meat was especially flavorful and very much toddler-approved. The atmosphere was family friendly, accommodating our three year-old and 6 month-old. We enjoyed watching some playoff basketball and chatting with our waitress, who was an avid sports fan. Groundwork: ordered spanakopita as app, the last batch of the night was burnt and not served to us. Reloaded with falafel as the app and split the smaller sample plate with my wife. Iced tea The good: Portions on everything except hummus and twisted feta were more than adequate. All proteins cooked and served at perfect temperature. Nice looking plate. Plenty of pita bread. Staff was attentive and refilled drinks at least once. The bad: Most Greek food I've eaten across the globe has one very defining trait-garlic. Usually enough to make an Italian guy exclaim 'ho thassa lotta garlic!' I realize the average palate of Hot Springs probably isn't so adventurous and it's likely a good idea to dial it back, but for my buck I'd like a bit more flavor. Noticeably missing were olives and olive oil. The Ugly: We did get there kinda late on a Friday evening...7:45. We were one of four couples when we arrived and the last to leave at 8:30-they close at nine. I did feel we were being hustled along a bit when the bill was brought to us as they cleared the plates. We had plans for dessert and had to assert that we weren't quite finished. As we were waiting on the dessert, someone opened the back door where there must have been numerous people smoking. While this is perfectly normal behavior in Greece, the cloud of second hand smoke was not appreciated while waiting for the limoncello cake. Redemption: That limoncello cake was the best thing I put in my mouth this week. Conclusion: Out the door for south of $65 was a nice surprise. I think as they get their bearings Santorini will only continue to please and impress their customers. I'm looking forward to trying a lunch there soon. read more

Came in from out of town for vacation. Ordered through storefront on DoorDash. I ordered dakos, pastitsio, and a gyro platter for my husband and I. They didn't put my pastitsio in the bag and my husband didn't realize that till he brought it to the hotel. I had tomato bread for dinner. Called the store they were basically like oh well, take it up with door dash. No offer or refund or to supply me with food. My issue is you allow DoorDash to have access to your restaurant and to be used as a way to order but you do nothing for the customer when a dish isn't put in the bag. That's also on you. If you try to resolve it through the app they say contact the restaurant. So I was just out $16 and my dinner. Thought I would warn anyone else who tries to order online. It's not like I'm at home and can get food out of my kitchen and I'm not going to pay for dinner twice. Worst experience in customer service my whole stay. read more
