I walked in, asked for a haircut and was directed to the other side, after waiting for 5 minutes and them taking someone else that came in after me they told me they were full and couldn't cut my hair tonight. So I really like that they are open on Sunday, but that means on a Sunday they are busy busy. Most barbers are closed on Sunday and Monday. Watching them they take pride in their work as it takes forever for a cut. I guess they do prefer appointments but they do not do same day, kind of like the clinic. You come in and sign in and wait and wait. I'm doing that now, I'll finish this off when my cut is done to tell you more. Good place to go for my son and I but they do need to update their FB page since it said veterans $7 and kids starting at $10 for 13 and up and my son was 11. We were both charged $24 per haircut and $10 for my beard trim so it was more than I thought I would be paying for the visit and did not see any signs related to what the cost was inside. I give no stars this place is only for close family and friends of the owner. All their customers wait around watching owners friends fist bump each other and by pass all the waiting customers. My kid waited for two hours we just left and place had crying kids and a dog who kept seating on the couch. Couch had dog hair that I taken home on my pants. My husband had not had a haircut in quite some time basically due to Covid. I went to get my hair cut and colored by my beautician, (which everyone there wore a mask) so he chose to get his haircut at the same time. He went to the closest place, Santi's. No one was wearing masks! He felt obligated to take off his to get his haircut. He got Covid! And of course I got it also. Maurice is like family. He has been cutting my boys hair since they were bitty. We would not trust their hair with anyone else.

When I walked into the barber shop it was a little busy, the owner told me that they cut hair quickly and they'll get everyone through really fast. They cut everyone hair too fast and didn't really seem to care how it looked as long as they get people in and out, today I asked a barber for a mid taper and a bit off the top and for one he didn't give me a taper and instead did whatever was quickest I guess, two he left one side of my hair longer than the other side and now it doesn't look right. Every time I've been here it's been the same thing, there is much better barber shops in Abq. The worst part is that he messed up my hair so bad I can't even go to a competent barber to fix it. This is a newer Barber shop in Enchanted Hills neighborhood that I have been wanting to try out. I should probably say that I'm extremely hard to please when it comes to my son's hair. He has been to a lot of barber shops and there's always something I'm not completely satisfied with at each location. It could partially be his hair that was part of the problem. He leaves places looking ok, but I can't keep it looking that way. His has colics so it sticks up in certain areas even with gel and bothers me. The lady here fixed his hair completely differently than all the others and I can easily style his hair and it stay looking nice all day. She showed me that his hair grows forward and I need to just go with that instead of trying to force it to go a different way. I don't know why I never thought of that before. Maybe because none of the other barbers have bothered to tell me this. Anyways, this is so far his best haircut and style. She did a nice fade and all the edges are clean and neat. She took her time, did a great job, and was extremely patient with him. I will be taking him back probably in another month. read more

I'm with Cecily and her previous post. Alot of chatter here and people bypassing customers that are seated, because they call in or text their barber. It's not a customer Centric business. Get a numbering system to make it fair for all customers entering. Or use a notebook like Randy's barbershop and name your barber so customers at least know what's going on. You have to wait forever because the barbers have all their pals coming in for cuts; why even have it open to the public? Just cut hair from an undisclosed location...I'm not waiting lo ger than 10 minutes to get in the chair, I will travel across town for a cut. read more

I've been to this barber quite a bit since it's close to the house. But after today I will not not by giving them my business. Their website says they are open at 7am on Saturday as does their door. From what I have heard from men (including my father) that use this service, it is great! Friends and family alike say they do great work. The only reason this isn't a 5 is because on many many occasions I have been driving around the work truck, I don't know who's driving at any time, but often I am tailgated, see them driving far too fast for conditions/traffic, see them cutting and wearing between traffic and stopping short behind people. It has happened many times or I wouldn't mentioned it. I even had to pull into a turn lane to let them go around me because they were driving so fast and so close behind me. I am not a prude driver and am usually going 5-10 over so for me to have to pull over for them, they're flying. When you're work name and number are all over your beautiful work truck that you've obviously put a lot of work into, maybe just drive a little more responsibility read more

The guys are really nice. But other than that not a very good experience. Asked for med fade and was given high and tight. Guy said he has done a lot of beards so i asked him to shape and he took close too two inches off my beard. And even then the shape was horrible. I spoke to the beard club I'm a member of and no one will be bringing there business to this shop. And way overpriced for results. I absolutely love this barber shop. They don't do just men, they do women's hair too. My hair stylist JASMINE is amazing!!!! Everytime color,cut,style I'm always satisfied. Even if I get a wild hair to do my purple lavender or major colors. I just went back to my original hair color black and the shampoo/deep condition has my scalp and hair silky soft. In love! When you walk in your greeted immediately and there is Foose ball table, air hockey and big tv to pass time while waiting!! They also have a awesome chair for little ones to cut there hair. MAURICE, the owner was SO NICE! He immediately started chatting with my mom while Jasmine put the color in my hair. They talked and my mom loved the conversations. My mom has cancer, even though she didn't have much hair Jasmine did a very adorable pixie cut on my mamabear and she has had so many compliments, me too. I really love the vibe and just stress free zone. It's spacious and just a kick ass place to get your hair at its best potential.
