The halloumi and dates were amazing, I've thought of it several times since I've been home. We ate here twice when I was over there - and would have gone back if I had the time. The patio was cute and the service was great. I loved my potatoes and the aioli as well. Wish there was one of these in my home town!

I got better results after going there in person. The staff was very friendly and I was told that for 5pm we have good chances of finding seats coming as a walk in. I'm happy that we did as all the meals looked delicious and were well presented. And my vegetarian platter was great, I loved all the items. The group was happy. Would have been five stars if there was not the initial overpriced menu offer.

What a surprise to find such a great 'tapas' restaurant in Germany! I spent my vacation in June in…read moreCatalonia, and Ponte could still be one of the best choices in any city in Costa Brava. You can find all the traditional dishes, such as 'patatas bravas' and 'chorizo'. But don't forget to check the great seafood options, such as the octopus and the scallops (some of the highlights of the night). I wish I could find a larger selection of Spanish wines to keep my illusion of being in the Spanish coast, but there's a reasonable selection by the glass or bottle. I highly recommend Ponte for a nice Spanish experience in Frankfurt. I'd say it's particularly great if you go with a few friends - that way you can order lots of different tapas and have a little taste of everything!

I'm from Miami, FL and I had been craving tostones, tacos and some spice and this restaurant hit the spot. My husband found this location, took me here, and as we were leaving I said "I want to go back and try the other food!" I had tacos Al pastor and fish, tostones with a tomato sauce that reminded me of my moms back home, and my husband had a steak which he mentioned was a weird texture however it was delicious. I can't tell you enough how satisfied I was. They speak English, spanish and German here. Can't wait to go back :)

Fabulous! I am just…read morecatching up from a recent visit back to Frankfurt. This restaurant is right around the corner from our house :). First, you need to bring some time, because service can be slow from what we are used to in the U.S. That is because this is a family business, and they are short staffed when it gets busy. Mind you, when there is an Eintracht game in the city, they are busy. But they are steady on most evenings. I will take the slow service any day, because they are SUPER FRIENDLY. The waiter remembered my whole families drink order on the second day, and we ended up coming here almost every evening for dinner after our first Schnitzel (we did not have a full kitchen, remodeling). So, great fresh beer from the tap. Apfelwein too. But what kept us coming was the Schnitzel. Perfectly done. Our favorites were the Jeagerschnitzel and the Rahmschnitzel with Spaetzle. The salads are yummy too. This is not one of the traditonal restaurants that you will find in the travel guides, but they are in the Sachsenhausen neighborhood and worth a swirl away from the main street. This restaurant has plenty of seating outside, good luck finding a parking spot. Via public transportation you can literally just step out at the Suedbahnhof and be there. We tended to sit at a table on the "outskirts" because there is a traditional Kneipe right next door where people smoke heavily. If that bothers you, sit on the outskirts and you will be fine.

My favorite thing about this restaurant was the food was always consistent. Not really sure what happened after covid but the quality has gone way down while the prices have gone way up. I was looking forward to visiting Thursday because I haven't been since December of 2019. I am not really sure what happened. There are so many delicious restaurants in Frankfurt and sadly this isn't one of them anymore. My advice is to skip it and dine elsewhere.
