The beer is very expensive and they poured it into what looked like a five or 6 ounce cup and it was nine dollars. You could get the same size wine for the same price or you can get a can of various flavored ciders. It didn't really make any sense and it was insanely expensive for the beer and that is my only negative feedback. Why couldn't we just get a can of beer? Otherwise we had a great time and we had fun being big kids.

My family and I went on Sunday, August 16th and had the time of our lives! We had been here last year around this time, as well! Got there at 11:00am or so, and left at around 7:45pm. This just shows how much there is to do here, and how great it is for everyone! Some of us wanted to do the smaller rides, (the dragon (a kiddie ride) coaster, wave blaster, over the rainbow, and more!) and others wanted to do the big ones (untamed, yankee cannonball, Boston tea Party), and everyone appreciated and was happy with the rides that they did! For lunch, we went to the Sons of Liberty tavern, which is just across from Boston Tea party, the big flume ride. (Don't worry though, it's just out of the splash zone!) It was a little pricey, but everyone loved their food. For snacks around the park, you've got a lot of options. We got a bag of popcorn, Italian ice, and strawberry dole whip! (since they were unfortunately out of pineapple) Line-whise, the longest one we waited in was for Yankee Cannonball, which was around a 45 minute line. (The ride was awesome and worth it, though.) So, overall, we have had great experiences with Canobie Lake Park!! I arrived between 1 and 2 in the afternoon and started with Batman, which is a very fun coaster. The restraints felt extremely comfortable and secure. It can leave you a little dizzy, but it is definitely worth riding. After walking around for a bit, I made my way to Wicked Cyclone. The lines were very long, but if you come to the park often, you know which rides are worth the wait. I spent about two hours in line, and it ended up being my favorite ride of the day. Afterwards, I grabbed some ice cream near the Starbucks at the entrance. It was decent, though a bit pricey. Two cups came out to about twenty five dollars even with the season pass discount. Next, I headed to Gotham City Gauntlet and then Supergirl Sky Flyer, both of which had very short lines. After that, I rode Scream, which only had about a twenty minute wait and is another one of my favorites. I then went back toward the Batman area to ride Riddler Revenge. It does jolt your head around a bit, but it was not too bad, and the wait time was reasonable. To finish the day, I tried the new coaster Quantum Accelerator. It may not look very intense, but for a family coaster it is surprisingly good. It is very fast, has some nice airtime, and features sharp yet smooth turns that make it feel unique. Unfortunately, Superman was closed during my visit. Overall, I have been coming to this park every summer, and it remains one of the best out there, especially if you enjoy classic coasters.

come here with a PLAN! when you come here, you must budget your time, energy & wallet accordingly!…read more i came here with 3 teens, 11-15. we entered the parking at 1:50pm so i decided to skip the flash pass at $50 each, although i nearly regretted it the entire time. we were only going to be there for less than 6 hours, so i didn't think it would be worth it. it probably was, but it would be nice if they offered it for $39/pp like they used to. the walk from the furthest parking lot isn't bad if you don't have younger kids, takes 7-10 minutes, but would be a nightmare with little ones. i would have paid the $10 for a lot across the street to be closer when we left. we immediately got in line for superman, waited about 1 hour & 20 minutes in 90 degree weather. one of the kids really wanted to go on the cyborg, but we stepped in the inside room where the wait is for about 5 seconds, where it had to be 120+ degrees in there (i love saunas, just not like this) and smelled so bad of body odor that i immediately made the executive decision not to suffer for an indoor ride. they should really add ac or fans to the cyborg line. our next ride was the harley quinn which i had never been on. it was very fun, but it only makes your stomach turn once at the very top, and i probably would not wait an hour for this ride again. they kept letting flash pass people on, which is understandable, but they let them ALL on while everyone else sweated profusely in the sun for over an hour. when i was on the ride, i mentioned i was excited to finally try it, and the kid next to me said this was his third time of the day. really put a damper on the experience. after this, two of the kids went for pizza from carlini's pizza, and i got the half raspberry iced tea, half lemonade which is the best hydration in this park. the other kid ordered loaded cheese fries from the macho nacho burritos, he liked it. all of the food here, no matter where you go, is $18.99 and not justified. although, i did order a chocolate milkshake for $12 from cowabunga burger in the water park that was worth it. it is more like a frappe with how thick it is, and was the perfect treat to cool down. we visited hurricane harbor at about 4:30 for just over an hour, it was nearly impossible to find seats for myself and one teen but he ended up doing better than me in that area! the two girls went in the wave pool for awhile, then waited in the line for the tornado before being told it was down. did hurricane harbor always smell this pissy, or is it accumulated over so many years? i never remember it smelling so strong of pee, just chlorine. i used to love the water park as a kid, but based on the smell, it will remain a fond memory for me. the joker is the old mind eraser. i couldn't quite tell, until the ride where my head hit the back of the seat 3 times at the point where it slows down, to be reminded, "ahh yes, this is definitely the mind eraser, i remember this." only the mind eraser could bring back such fond memories of your brain feeling scrambled, and your head feeling a bit bruised for about 15 minutes. wicked cyclone is an older coaster made with wood & steel. it looks underwhelming but i'd argue it's one of the best rides in the park for thrill seekers. it seemed to make up for a number of disappointments on a very hot, july day, for myself and all three kids. many of the rides kept letting on all the fast passes, and letting the other line wait. wicked cyclone was the only one who allocated properly and allowed in x amount of fast passes as well as the regular line so that both lines moved. they had the nicest staff, and none of the other rides did it that way, which seemed like an oversight. six flags new england is the only real amusement park we have in new england, so rating it based on that makes the score higher, but compared to other national amusement parks, it could be better. i'd be really disappointed if it were gone. i think they can make some improvements. six flags new england holds a special place in my heart, it was one of my favorite places as a kid.

People cutting, groups merging, confusion everywhere -- it takes away from the fun before you even reach the station. And speaking of the station, the ride itself feels like it's running on the bare minimum. For an older coaster, you expect a little rattle, but this feels more like low maintenance than vintage charm. Thunderbolt deserves better upkeep, especially given its legacy at the park. At the end of the day, the nostalgia is notable -- even special -- but the overall experience doesn't match the potential. Like this one! Loops, corkscrews, feet in the wind, no headache after, no line... How can anyone not love this?! Quick and easy here - life is hard. Sometimes we just need to get high on LIFE and forget our problems in a healthy way. No drugs are necessary. This coaster loops, spins, and twists all my problems away. When I ride - all I am thinking about is the fun of the moment. The name is correct! My mind is erased on here and I love it! It is one of the reasons I love coasters... Take a break, rest my mind, and have a blast! Simple break down since it's not like some record breaker or something - Top suspended coaster roller coaster. It's not new but sure does travel smoothly. There is little to no line & I enjoy the roller coaster! The front, back, it's all great! I plan to use my Six Flags 2016 season pass and be on this roller coaster more than once every single visit. I had heard there were gorges & caves to explore different from other trails nearby along with beautiful pines and waterfalls. It exceeded all my expectations! It says this is a 1 mile loop hike but be prepared- I walk a 5k daily & this trail kicked my butt in a good way. It was moderately challenging- I went in the rain so it was a bit cooler too. The best advice I could offer is to take a backpack with snacks, another jacket just in case (although i layered up), pack rain pants to help keep me warm in the rain, and shoes with good traction. And plenty of water. Beanies may also be a good option to keep your head warm from the cold. And a portable battery. Also, if you haven't traveled with a car like me..then the Shuttle Connection is a life saver to travel in town. Way cheaper than Uber and fairly quick to transport you wherever you want to go. Also for travelers go back and forth to other states travel by bus is the perfect and most affordable way to travel. This trail offered amazing views, great photo ops, and plenty of additional trails to explore. They also make sure to keep everything maintained and safe for hikers exploring. Everything is well labeled and easy to follow. They do say and I can attest- travelers who have difficulty walking or have walkers etc..this may not be an ideal trail. Also, for younger children this may not be an kdela hike because of how extensive the elevation is. You are climbing a mountain and waterfall elevation. Make sure to look up details on their trail before you plan a trip. But well worth the hike :)

So when I met this same friend in Boston this last weekend (our first trip together since the UK trip), I wasn't absolutely thrilled to be spending another decent amount of a day going to another Harry Potter experience. But I love my friend, so I gave it a chance. Being someone who falls into the above category, I say this is a wow-level experience. I quickly realized that this exhibition is a watered-down version of the studio tour, at a SIGNIFICANTLY more affordable price and reasonable location, so I could see where many people will find it interesting and entertaining. Being someone who has already been to the studio tour in England, and if I wasn't trying to give a fair review in the eyes of someone who hasn't been, I would rate this with 3 stars. If you fall into the same category that I do, and you've been to the studio tour, do not waste your time here. The employees are friendly, but there is no new information to learn here, the merchandise is second-rate compared to the studio tour, and there are some kinks they need to work through with the bracelet technology. I hate to burst anyone's magical bubble, but this really just seems like another money grab from WB. So why four stars? Bring your HP-obsessed loved ones and they will enjoy it. We have been using squirt guns for the past 13 years. It's a family tradition, and we have never had an issue. The Clark Bear employee then began taking pictures on his own personal cell phone of our children, 6 and 8, in their bathing suits. This is absolutely disturbing and disgusting !!! Be careful if you bring your children here. We will never be returning.
