We purchased a 2024 Jeep Rubicon at a great price. Jessica took her time and answered all of our questions. We never felt rushed. This is how the purchasing experience should always be. Visit them and have David or Richard set you up with one of their great salespersons. In a prior visit, we dealt with Gilbert, who reminded us that he didn't get paid by the hour, and refused our request to take a test ride of a vehicle similar but not exactly what we were looking for unless we could provide some assurance that we would "most likely" purchase the vehicle. Salesmanship 101: Always cultivate your customer. If they don't buy today, treat them well and they may come back and purchase another time. Cultivating a customer should always be "worth your time". Fortunately, David called me the next day, on speakerphone with another manager and a few others to apologize for Gilbert's treatment of us, and assured us that this is not how their salespersons are trained to treat customers. I'm so glad David called and remedied the situation. David was sincere. You could tell he was genuinely concerned, not just due to my original review. The dealership, David and Jessica have my respect and have earned a loyal customer. Today was a win-win day.

After 4 hours (I was told it takes 45 minutes) the fob does not work. I went by yesterday to have it actually fixed and was told to make an appointment. I didn't feel that he was trying to scam me nor pressure me into a car I didn't want. I worked with him in the past on getting myself into a car, but I didn't believe I was ready. My biggest complaint would be that their online software gave $0 estimates to have brake pads/rotors, air filters, and wipers replaced. Naturally, I approved the work given the $0 estimate presented assuming the coupons I presented for a free multi point inspection included the $0 suggested work. I showed up to pick up my car expecting the hundred dollar charge for the oil change as expected and no charge for the tire as expected. Instead, I was presented with a $500 charge. The only reason my rating is not low is because the service manager in charge was reasonable and only charged me for the parts and not the labor knocking the total charge down to 300 including the oil change. I had to come back later to get the tire replaced since they had to order a replacement tire due to the nail being swallowed by the old tire. The service this time was amazing and swift with the service manager on duty, showing excellent care and attention to detail.

Earlier today, I went to this dealership Garcia Volkswagen of Santa Fe and the experience was…read moreunpleasant. This dealership is shady and most of the staff that I interacted with today was manipulative and gas-lighting. I have been looking for a new vehicle for over a year now and have done numerous research on Volkswagen Taos. I found a gorgeous pure white 2022 Volkswagen Taos on this lot going for $20,500. I reached out to this dealership yesterday (Friday) to confirm that they still had this vehicle on the lot before I made the trip to Santa Fe. I specifically asked in the message if they could *email* me on the confirmation and what the out the door (OTD) price was. I received a *phone call* instead of an *email* from Art (sales Manager) and *only* a confirmation that the vehicle was available. I made it to the dealership this morning (Saturday), I test drove this vehicle and was wanting to purchase it. I already had a pre-approval from my Credit Union (CU) and this speficifc dealership was listed as their preferred dealer (which is why I even came out to Santa Fe). This vehicle was well within my amount of pre-approval. I was not over the amount, nor was I trying to waste the dealership's time or resources. Actually, I was hoping to avoid the drama and shady business by using a dealership partnered with my CU. Unfortunately, all I got was shady business practices, runaround, time wasting and gas-lighting experience. When I asked for the OTD price I was given the price for "another" vehicle on the lot, going for a total price of 23k. I looked over the breakdown price and questioned why the car was for $22k instead of $20,500 as advertised on their website. The salesman had asked me where I was getting this information from. As I was trying to show the salesman with my phone the vehicle price for $20,500. The vehicle was removed from their website. Luckily, I had taken a screenshot of this vehicle with the price and was able to verify my information. The salesman went back to tell Art the discrepancies, when the salesman came back with the 'actual' price of the vehicle I was inquiring about, he had followed up with a lame excuse stating 'Art hasn't had his coffee yet.'. When negotiations started, instead of Art coming down to help his staff- another staff member came to tell me that I was being unreasonable. He did not know the whole story of how we got from point A to Point B, he would not let me or the salesman explain that Art destroyed my trust. This staff member would not meet me in the middle of talking down the price. The staff member told me that I needed to make a better offer to them (as if they are the ones trying to buy a vehicle from me). I walked out. If I went through the pains to get pre-approved and went through 'trusted preferred dealership' from my CU. I shouldn't be given this runaround, lying and gas-lighting experience. I was trying to get a car that I could afford within my budget and not something over my pre-approved amount. It is also shady to remove a listing on a vehicle that someone is attempting to purchase and try to change the price of said vehicle. I am also one to follow up with proof please see attached photo's. 1.) The vehicle's price listed on the website, 2.) The unfounded page of said vehicle in question (Also the original link of the vehicle [https://www.volkswagenofsantafe.com/used/Volkswagen/2022-Volkswagen-Taos-for-sale-santa-fe-nm-98ed65dbac1816f184c8d2cb5716c46e.htm]). 3.) As of Saturday 01/18/2025 01:30pm this is the used vehicle on 'currently' on the lot which does not include this vehicle.

Shout out to Vivian and Waldo for their friendly professionalism when I called just minutes before closing on a Tuesday with a need for coolant. They helped our trip stay on track and we will always remember them with appreciation!
