I've been staying at this hotel during my visits to Santa Clara for years. It's close and convenient to my office. What I like: M-Club - it's usually stocked with snacks around the clock along with meals in the mornings and evenings. They now officially have Coke products! The fitness center - they have many options including: barbells, dumbbells, cable machines, steppers, ellipticals, treadmills, bikes, resistance equipment, and more. They also have hydration and scented cool face towels. Upgrades - for Marriott elites, this property has been generous with upgrades. When this place has availability / it is my go-to when visiting Santa Clara. read more

Santa Clara Marriott - Coke products are officially in the fridge! - Hotels Near Me - Santa Clara, California

This was a pretty good Marriott property. It had a decent location and was within a moderate walking distance to a few places (10-15 mins), but for most things, a car was needed. The M Lounge for Platinum and Above members was pretty spacious and had some great breakfast offerings. I had better choices in there than the food provided at a conference I was attending. They also had a killer coffee machine which made some fresh brewed drinks, snacks, and a variety of soda pop cans for a refreshing bubbly drink. I had a room on the 14th floor which had some high ceilings. It made my bed jumping party more fun for sure. The pillows could have been better though (the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars). The bathroom was nice with good amenities and I had a great view of Levi Stadium from my room. I was in the main tower which was nice in comparison to my co-worker who was in some weird maze of rooms. There was plenty of parking available with a few garages that seemed to hold a lot of cars. The conference space was also nice and the right size for what was needed. The staff at the front desk and the conference was amazing. I'd stay here again if I was in the area. read more

Pros: Location in city, quiet, comfy beds Cons: Very difficult to navigate, even with a map. It's like a labyrinth trying to find your room if you're not in the main tower. If you are someone who cannot walk long distances, make sure you request a room near the lobby or in the main tower. Doesn't matter if you requested to be near an elevator, the walk to them is FAR and it's honestly easier to find the stairs (which is not an option for everyone). All around not a very accessible hotel. They do not have enough luggage trollys for the size of this place. I only maybe saw 2 at a time, and never when I needed one. Ended up making multiple trips up and down stairs to carry out our luggage. The restaurant/bar area is self-seated, but the service ignored us for ~15 minutes. Decided to skip it and find somewhere else to eat. Their parking entry did not work with the key cards and they had to print out a paper ticket for us to use. Blamed it on "technology" not always working. Frustrating when you have to go back and forth trying to get access to something that costs $40/night. The room itself was ok. The bathroom faucet was loose in our room, making it difficult to use the sink. And there are no microwaves in the room. You have to walk to the market (which, again, is far from anywhere that isn't the main tower) if you want to heat up food or water. TLDR: If you're able-bodied and just looking for a home base while exploring the area, this place isn't bad. Otherwise, make sure you request well in advance a room that meets your accessibility needs. read more

Our stay was amazing! We came for the firework show both days from Great America. From our balcony, on the fourth, we saw almost 30 firework shows ranging from 8:40p to 11:15p. The high tower room allowed us to look over the city and beyond. Following the shows, we were hungry but refused to leave due to the amount of traffic. Room service being served until 11p saved us. We each ordered a burger as the food options were limited to a steak, pasta, pizza, wings, tenders, salads, soups and fries. Regardless we were happy for the service. The food was excellent as well - we were quite satisfied. Avoid the fries, they are reheated and arrived at a nuked temp. An automatic $5 charge is added to the food bill for room delivery, but front desk staff called our room to pickup our order. After informing front desk of the automatic charge, our food was brought to our room within five minutes. The room itself was spacious with two queen beds, two chairs and an oversized built in desk. A mini fridge and coffee maker were in the room. The shower offered a waterfall style shower head with a shower arm. The bathroom had a modern style with black and wood accents. The television service was limited especially internet channels. Netflix cannot be viewed unless you have a no ad account (we do not). YouTube would not load due to a different time zone than the tv...no clue. There were three children channels with one showing Friends. Tons of sports channels. A mobile key is offered, but can only be shared if the other guess has a Bonvoy account. Once the mobile key is requested, the physical card keys are useless to enter/exit the parking garage ($40/day charge). Check out was done entirely through the app including the finalized statement being emailed. Staff was friendly and accommodating through the app messaging, on the phone and in person. read more

I've been here several times. I've been here for conferences, as a guest, and for conventions. I can now say I've been here for World Cup match day get togethers. The staff here has been so hospitable and friendly. Everyone greeted me even in passing. It was fun seeing folks from all over the world, however, it didn't get too chaotic. Staff made sure that those that were here for World Cup soccer also got world class service. They had recommended to their guests food recommendations and other things to do such as going to the theme park nearby. read more

My buddy suggested meeting up for drinks at Santa Clara Marriott before having a steaks at a restaurant not far away. I am always up for trying something new. The bar is in the front right beyond the registration desks. The first thing I noticed was the pleasant scent when I walked in. So many hotels have been doing this and I like it. It's a nice classy touch. The bar itself is decent. It's a full bar and it had a generous offering of spirits. I went with a pint of Sam Adams Winter Brew and I think my buddy had a martini. There were several large monitors that had college football on and this is a plus. The bartender was okay. I don't expect much, however, I do want them to be knowledgeable about the beers on tap. He seemed a little disinterested in my questions. It was fine; I ordered what I wanted. The hotel itself was very quiet, almost empty. The upside to that was we were able to carry on a conversation easily. Anyway, not sure if I will be back. Parking is $40 (yikes), although they do validate. Time for some pics. read more

I had a great time here for the R&B tour!!!!! FYI it was a 20 minute walk to the concert lol but everyone walked and there's little riders that can take you but they charge $45 a person lol. It's not worth it!!!! All and all. The room was clean, the bar was nice and the staff was awesome. Thank you Marriott for everything!!! read more

We stayed at the Santa Clara Marriott while in town for a concert, and since we arrived a little early, we weren't sure if we'd be able to check in right away. Thankfully, they had a room ready for us on a lower floor, which worked out perfectly. The hotel was actually much larger than it looked in the pictures, with a really nice bar and pool area to enjoy. Our room was clean, comfortable, and perfect for what we needed, with no issues at all. We really appreciated that everything was ready when we arrived, making for an easy and stress-free start to our stay. read more

Was here on business and had a pleasant stay.room on 14th floor of tower was clean and remodeled. Lobby was as nice and clean There was a musty type smell when the A/C was on, so I cracked the balcony door open - weather is fabulous. Worked out of the large M-Club for several hours. Decent breakfast and snacks. Coffee machines are right by the entrance door which doesn't seem like a great idea. No water bottles here, but bring your own for water dispenser. Proximity to airport is awesome. Uber/Lyft is around $15-20z. Lots of great food /restaurant options right past the 101. read more

Was there for a company meeting for 4 nights. Fairly easy to check in and the front desk was very helpful. My room was located off the main tower in building B. The front desk did provide instructions on how to get to my room/building from the main lobby. I still got lost as the property does not have good signs to show how to get to each separate building. I had to walk around the parking several times to find my building/room. I even asked a staff who was walking outside, and he does not even know how to get to my building... and said something like "this place is a maze..." Other than the above, every thing else is fine. The housekeeper ladies were very nice and friendly. The catering services were also very good. Pricing wise, since it was a company paid trip, I'm not aware of the daily rates. However if you are driving and not a Marriott member, daily parking is $40 with in and out privileges. Standard WiFi is $17.99 per day. read more

Don't be fooled by the exterior photos of this hotel online - it's actually quite nice! The lobby is fairly spacious and boasts a sizable bar and a decent hotel market. The accommodations were lovely. We got put up on the top floor. Our room had vaulted ceilings, a small balcony, and a nice view of the road and the hotel pool. The room was clean and the bed and sofa were VERY comfortable. The walls could be a little thin (I could hear someone's alarm going off in the morning) but nothing too wild. Overall would stay here again! My only gripe is that we decided on this hotel due to the close proximity to the theme park, but learned the hard way that it's nearly a mile walk to the front gate! Definitely got our steps in and the way there in the morning wasn't bad. But on a toasty day, the walk back to the hotel was rough! While I know they're no longer affiliated with the park, I wish there was a shuttle or some sort of transport, even for a fee. read more

Stayed here recently and overall it was decent, but not amazing. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were super friendly--especially at the breakfast restaurant. They really made the mornings feel welcoming. The location is pretty close to Levi's Stadium, which was great, but the walk back was long. Not the easiest stroll, especially after a long concert. We decided to walk back after a $100 pedicab ride there. One of the better parts of the stay was renting a cabana by the pool. It was $100 for 2-6 PM and came with bottled water and a fruit platter, which felt like a good deal and made for a relaxing afternoon. The downside? I got charged twice for it. I called and they said they'd send it to accounting, but I haven't heard anything back yet. For $460 a night, I expected a bit more. It wasn't bad, but definitely didn't feel worth the price tag. read more

We resided at the Santa Clara Marriott for a few days for business. The staff here are outstanding, shout-out to Logan and Paris (I hope I spelled his name right). The first day we got here, we were famished and wanted to get a quick bite. A Marriott staffer, Logan seated us, cool dude! We got the menu and perused it. While there isn't a large assortment of food items, I decided to get the panko chicken fingers with fries, awesomely delicious. While there are quite a few places to dine in Silicon Valley, we actually ended up eating here for dinner the few days we were here. All the food is excellent. I just wanted to list a few items that really stood out: Bucatini al Pesto con Guanciale, Argentinian Steak Lomo Saltado, Classico Pizza, and the Wagyu Burger. Also, if you need a good workout, the gym was absolutely exceptional! Before I forget to mention, this was an exceptional Marriott, the staff was excellent, and I look forward to coming back. read more

Rooms were nice. Pool was fun. Food is the issue. Don't plan on eating at the hotel. Poor quality and choices. That's when they are open. Forget about getting any food late at night. They all shut down. And you have to remember that you ate really in the middle of nowhere at this hotel. Outside food sources are obsolete. You have to drive 15 m one way to get food. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by the Santa Clara Marriott. I wasn't planning on staying here and made reservations at the last minute with my employer's travel agency. This Marriott is located in Santa Clara across the Great America. This Marriott most likely used to be one of their flagship locations as Great America used to be owned by the Marriott. The property was huge. It had convention halls, 2 towers and a couple of 2-3 story buildings facing their garden and pool. Remodeling was done a couple years ago modernizing the rooms. Check in was quick and easy by Kunal and his coworker. They knew how to process a virtual payment (VCP) that my employer uses, without this Marriott listed as one of my employers "Most Preferred Hotels". Our room was on the 10th floor of the larger tower. The room came with a king bed, a sofa and a large screen TV. The bathroom was adequate. No bathtub. There was a shower and a hand shower. Water pressure was weak on the 10th floor as it took 4-5 toilet flushes before everything flushed away. The bed was a little soft for me. With enough meds, I was able to get a good nights sleep. My room had a balcony with a view toward the park and Levi's stadium. The exercise room is downstairs by the pool. The gym had everything including stuff I couldn't use. They have a couple of Life Fitness and Peleton bikes that I was able to use with my bad ACL. They had several weight lifting machines, dumbells, and lots of ellipticals, treadmills, and 2 stair climbing machines. It was one of the better gym hotels. The pool was a large 25 yard pool with lane lines for lap swimming. They even had tennis courts. An M Club is available for Bonvoy members who are platinum and above. The M Club is one of the better ones around serving both breakfast and an evening appetizer. The personnel working there were friendly. The morning crew was Team Tagalog. They offer the usual scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon, fresh fruit, pastries, oatmeal, juice and coffee. It wasn't until the last day of my 5 night stay that I found out that this M Club does things better than other M Clubs. At breakfast, they offer cooked to order eggs if you ask, or if they decide to offer. It was sad that they didn't offer it to me until my last breakfast; and that was from me watching their interactions with other Asian customers. Perhaps I was not Asian enough for them the first 4 days of my stay. In the evenings, the M Club was manned by Myra, Olga and Julian. They did their job, and warmed up to me after seeing me for a few days. The evening appetizer offerings were fantastic. It wasn't just an appetizer, it was dinner. They offered dishes like salmon vindaloo, chicken wings, pan seared cod and a seafood paella. Along with dinner, they also provided desserts. The food was fantastic. The Santa Clara Marriott is a good hotel. It was nicely remodeled. The room was okay. The food was good. The gym was adequate. I liked that they knew how to process my VCP. I probably will stay here again for work. read more

I had a summit conference event here today. I did not stay overnight at this hotel, I am only rating and commenting on the food and venue. Overall, breakfast and lunch was good. The venue was fine. Bathroom was clean. I did not feel too hot or too cold, so the temperature at the venue was perfect. I still wore layers just in case. There was a line to leave the parking lot waiting to get through the gate as everyone was leaving. It was good that there was a parking attendant helping to get the line going otherwise we may wait even longer. Overall, service was good. I would recommend having an event at this hotel if you need a venue to host an event. read more

Updating my review from last year. I came to the Marriott again for 4th of July weekend. The room I had in the North Tower seemed even more up-to-date than last year. I love it when a hotel room has many more charging stations and outlets available than average, and this one did. They have fixed up the parking lots. I didn't leave and return on this trip, but when I went out with a friend, his parking ticket let us out of the lot easily. I wrote a separate review for the restaurant in the lobby (Bosc & Bartlett) because it was a crappy experience. This hotel space is very good for meetings, and they are good about keeping everything clean. This visit, I sat by the fire pit near the pool which I really recommend! read more

I arrived here for a six night stay during Stanford Commencement Weekend. Despite requesting a room on an upper floor of the property. I was issued a room on the second floor that required a map for me to get to. It was located on the rear of the property and took me a five minute walk to get to. Immediately across from the room was a utility closet. Traveling alone, I made sure I was on a call with someone during this time to ensure I was safe. The staff that I encountered during my stay was phenomenal. They made sure the room was well maintained and properly stocked. I unfortunately was unable to utilize most of the amenities due to the distance from the room. I did have breakfast there one morning and visited the fitness center on my final morning there prior to departure. read more

We stayed here recently for 2 nights in the garden terrace area, room 2719, which faces the parking lot. We even used the pool, which was rather big, and there is also a hot tub. Parking was too expensive at $40 per day! read more

I have visited Santa Clara Marriott for conferences and events in the past years. Modern, upgraded, and relaxing. Check-in and check-out processes are smooth. Good front desk service. Restrooms are super clean and organized. Hotel does have a small market shop convenient for guests. Restaurant onsite. Excellent bar area and lobby space with plenty of tables & chairs onsite. You can easily find a cozy and comfortable spot to lounge around or wait quietly. The best part is having enough spaces to walk or roam around on foot, especially if you're in and out of conference rooms or seminars. Conference space is spacious and can fit 4-5 super large screens in front. Lots of rooms available. Great for parties and group social events. Hotel has done a great job in upkeeping and maintaining the entire building. There's public garage parking for a fee as well as parking lot on conference building side. Most large events can get free parking validations. I visit for business/financial seminars/classes, social networking events, jewelry/gift tradeshows, and more. It looks and feels great inside. Perfect location if you're in the area and not far from expressways/highways. I will keep coming back for future events onsite. read more

Nice hotel, and super close to Levi Stadium... Came to town for a football game, and chose the Santa Clara Marriott for our stay. Super friendly customer service at checking. Parking, although convenient, expensive. That is/was expected though. Room is comfy and well appointed. Although the layout of our room was a little goofy. The meh stuff: water pressure in the shower is almost non existent. The water doesn't even get hot. It's luke warm at best. Only like 3 channels on the tv worked. My husband wanted to watch the highlights of the football game we were just at (I'm sure you can all relate) and we couldn't get anything. Only news and maybe 2 other channels. If in the area again, I will probably choose this hotel again only because of my Marriott status. Definitely not the best Marriott I've ever stayed at, but certainly not the worst... read more

TlDr this location can do better about being fair to (returning) guests and communication. Wouldn't recommend staying during busy events unless you're familiar with the property. The check in process was understandably slow, although it felt slower than usual, but that isn't the purpose of my review. The front desk person that helped us didn't give us the best information upon check in, which I believe should be their goal when guests arrive. He also gave us unclear directions to our room, leading us to a couple of (short) staircases unnecessarily. We've stayed overnight at this hotel many times for concerts at Levi's, football games, and Great America - it's a location that my family and friends choose for convenience and the housekeeping staff is very nice. I must highlight that my stays have not involved parking over one day here. We were not happy with our last stay in particular because we were unfairly charged for parking. We left the hotel a day early but were charged for the full booking. I do accept some fault because I mistakenly forgot to check out, but we left very abruptly, but I also feel that their parking rules/billing are unclear. I remember checking my app for an option to check out, but it wasn't available until the day of check out. Bottom line is that I wish this location could have been more understanding of our situation, especially because I've stayed here in the past. Someone on the phone was nice enough to ask the manager for the accommodation, but ended up calling me later that day to let me know that they were unwilling to refund one day. Since we didn't check out in person, we didn't have a physical receipt. When the option to view it on the app became available, there was a notice that my bill is not available to view online for some reason. Not sure why. read more

It was an OK hotel stay experience. I was there for work and everything was good for the most part. I liked the comfort of the bed, despite there not being a fleece blanket to use. The bathroom and shower were nice and appreciated the travel-sized body lotion items instead of having them installed in the bathroom. The view was, of course, was crappy -- I always seem to get a room that has a view of the rooftop, despite being a tier'd rewards member. The balcony door was broken. Parking of course was annoying -- not only did you have to pay for it, but you also had to deal with the gate not opening at times. It's ludicrous for guests to have to deal with this at certain hotels, especially when the hotel owns the lot. The nice part about the hotel is that it was right by Our Lady of Peace and was able to go there for church and adoration, as well as the gift shop. read more

The rooms have been recently updated, but still not great, and loud corridors. If you come during a 49er game weekend, be prepared for huge crowds repping the Red and Gold. The bar area is packed, and they charge extra for game weekends, which we were not told about ahead of time, so beware. We have had mixed reviews about the check in process, sometimes great, a lot of time long lines with few staff to help. Its Location to Levi stadium and Great America keeps this place busy, but not the most comfortable rooms. read more

I attended a conference here. Area was nice and clean. It has a decent size restroom with probably 10 stalls. The restroom was cleaned and there was someone cleaning and restocking paper towels after breakfast and after lunch. That was very thoughtful. Breakfast is as mediocre average pastry and fruit along with coffee, tea and juice available. Lunch was surprisingly above average. Everything arrived was good. I tried everything except chicken breast. Beef was surprisingly tender instead of overcooked and dry, which was my first impression. Conference ballrooms we're large and spacious with water dispensers by each door. AC was on appropriately, outside is about 80-90 degrees and inside I had to wear a long sleeve. Outside of the wall had a decorative wall made of keyboard buttons. I thought that was creative and appropriate as we are in silicone valley. Getting out of the garage was hectic. Imagine a couple of hundred of people trying to get out of at the same time and each person has to pay at the gate without an attendant manning the gate? Rooms for improvement: perhaps setup a kiosk either inside the hotel or at the parking structure to pay in advance instead of paying at the gate with cars backing up and create unnecessary traffic and delay. read more

I came here for a two day seminar and this review will cover Marriott's meeting facilities and catering only. Catering: The meeting included both breakfast and lunch. The breakfast consisted of three types of fresh fruit, pastries, bagel or toast station, yogurt parfait and coffee/tea. Overall average. Lunches consisted of sandwich boxes or salads and was a mixed bag. The first day was a very boring turkey and lettuce sandwich with mustard and mayo packets. The next day was so much better with a chicken Italiano roll topped with roasted red pepper, cheese and a flavored spread. Facilities: Majority of us were using laptops or tablets throughout and there were a good number of power strips to connect. Wi-Fi coverage was spotty at the start but got better. Temperature controls were inconsistent as it got quite chilly on the second day. However the staff were on top of maintaining all areas around our conference so it was clean and orderly throughout the two days. Parking was plentiful and validated both days so attendees did not pay out of pocket. However it did get a bit congested in the AM as they were directing drivers due to a lot of cars arriving at the same time. Overall a decent place to attend large meetings. read more

I came here for a conference and stayed in the hotel for the duration. When I first arrived, the parking lot was confusing and far from the entrance. I learned early that every time I went from the hotel to the parking lot and back, I had to pass through the smoking area and there were always smokers there. It was located at the end of the only crosswalk from the lot to the hotel. I smelled like smoke from passing through there. Not pleasant. The refrigerator in the room wasn't working when I arrived, so maintenance came quickly to fix it. Only the front of the fixed refrigerator worked, so as long as I kept stuff in the door it was fine. The front desk staff was great. I couldn't figure out the coffee pot in the room so they easily walked me through it. The bar manager was cranky every day I interacted with her and snapped answers to all of our questions. I left a separate review for the bar on a different day. The room was located next to the electrical room and it made noise starting at 4 am nightly. It was ok once I figured out what the noise was and it wasn't going to come get me. As far as the convention layout went, there were two conventions going on at the same time. The other convention had its buffet smack in the middle of the convention I went to. You would think that they would put food closer to their own convention. One of the convention rooms was in the back of the restaurant. Everyone had a hard time finding it. The convention organizers put up signs but the hotel itself didn't have great signage for where to find this room. All in all the hotel was fine. It had a few things to work on but did a decent job for the most part. read more

Honestly for a 3-star hotel this place blew me away. The bed was so comfortable - but the walls were paper thin. The staff were excellent and were pretty quick. There's about 700 rooms and serves as the hotel for the 49ers as it's walking distance to Levi stadium. They are fully staffed - didn't make it to the breakfast but heard it was expensive like standard hotels. If you get delivery you do have to pick up from the front desk. The only downfall is the place is a bit of a maze - hard to get into. Make sure you carry your hotel card as during football games the cops may not let you take the exit unless you say you're staying at the hotel. read more

Stayed here for the weekend for my daughter's dance competition. Beautiful hotel with modern decor. My daughter's and I stayed in a 2 queen bed standard room. The room was clean and well equipped. I love that there was plenty of closet and drawer space. One of the neat things that I like most was that our room was on the 1st floor and had a sliding glass that had access to the parking lot, so I parked my truck right in front of our room so that made unloading and loading so easy! There was a double lock on the sliding door so there was no worry about someone trying to get in from the parking lot. The room was well equipped, loved the smart tv for netflixing with my girls. No issues with cleanliness or wifi. They do daily cleaning in this hotel which was a pleasant surprise to me because I haven't seen that since before Covid. Parking was easy ($30/day) but if parking in the garage, it can get tight especially if you have a big car. In the lobby, they have a cute little coffee shop as well as a bar. They also have a restaurant on site but I didn't see it open during our stay. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again! read more

Nice hotel, but a little pricey for what you get. Our 1st room, the shower door was broken. The maintenance man told us it was a known problem and it shouldn't have been sold/rented out so we ended up having to pack up all our things and moving rooms with no help which was a hassle. The room air felt stuffy. The server at the bar area was very nice. I've stayed at better marriotts. read more

Arrived on a Sunday in advance of the 49er game. The place was packed. About 70% of people not wearing masks. Even in line to check in. Even though you walk by a big sign saying masks required. A guy working at the bar didn't wear one and one wore one y def his chin. Whatever. I wouldn't want to have to enforce that either. Check in was super long. Confusing outside because there's a valet sign and podium and a lot of cars. But no valet. A lot of people park there for the game too so it was super crowded. Staff at check in snd the bar were incredibly nice. 5 star The room....2 stars at best. Old room. Old a/c. No decor. So boring. There was a leaky pipe in the hall and the ceiling was warped and dripping. Just an old property. read more

I just returned from a road trip during which I stayed at four different Marriott properties. My four reviews will encompass them all and provides comparison of four properties in the CA Central Coast area. After one night at our friends' home during our July-August 2022 Road Trip, we were in our second hotel of our road trip. This was a three-night stay at the Santa Clara Marriott in Santa Clara, CA. This was a much nicer location at which to stay than the previous Marriott property in Buellton, although again, our room was located at the very end of the hall! The room was clean and comfortable. We had no problems during our stay and in this case, the shower was great with good water pressure. This hotel was crazy busy due to a concert taking place nearby at the stadium on the night we checked in and what appeared to be a two-day wedding taking place. It was fun to see all of the people dressed in traditional fancy Indian clothing for the wedding events taking place. Again, we were provided free breakfast each morning as Platinum Bonvoy members and it was a big upgrade from the last location. Loved the oatmeal and accompaniments. Each day they had different options available to eat from cereals to different egg dishes, to different types of potatoes, etc etc etc. Very nice breakfast buffet In the room, we had plenty of charging receptacles on both sides of the bed, which was great! The king-sized bed was super comfy, although the pillows were ginormous and for some reason, they were foam, not feather pillows in the room, which is unusual. Luckily there was a normal-sized pillow in the bedding for the couch bed and it worked for me during the stay so I decided not to call and request feathers. This time, we did use the pool/jacuzzi area. The temps were perfect and while it was nighttime, both appeared to be appropriately clean. We also ate at the bar on our last night, eating chicken strips and fries with cocktails. Drinks were on the pricey side, but they were yummy! Staff was friendly, the hotel was nice and overall, that stay was a good one. Parking was $17 per night, which is a bummer, but not as bad as usual, which tends to be around $30-40/night at Marriotts. The location is just a little less than a mile to the Santa Clara convention center and less than a half mile to the entrance of California Great Adventure Amusement Park. For three nights, Friday through Monday, our points were 109,000 points, PLUS 12,000 upgrade cost for a "better room" Not sure better than what, but I did like the room. We've stayed here before and we'll likely stay there again in the future. read more

When you order an espresso martini and it's just shaken up "blue ice" and none of the ingredients usually in an espresso martini it's not a good time. After pointing out that the drink was supposed to have coffee in it an espresso was procured and the same swill was re-shaken with fresh ice. A horrible drink. I resent my friend for staying here and making me wait at possibly the worst bar ever. read more

I came in on Friday 8/27 with my best friend for The Weeknd concert. Easy check-in, clean and cool room, AMAZING pillows. Staff was very friendly. Shoutout to Jawed, Sudath and Juan at the bar. You guys made our weekend. So knowledgeable of drinks and food plus super fun and engaging. We got an Uber to the show and were close enough to walk back from Levi's Stadium. The bath amenities are really nice. Not over powering or strong. I like that we had a sliding door to the outside and were able to park right by our room. One last shoutout to Jose from engineering for being so kind and escorting us to our room and carrying bags. Highly recommended! read more

We have an annual charity event nearby this hotel and it's our 3rd year housing our 30-40 guests at this Marriott property, and we love it! The hotel team led by Suda, Ave, Tracey are so easy to work with. Each year we stay here, our guests discovers a little more. The gym is brand new, well kept, clean and maintained. The breakfast offering is quite extensive for a hotel breakfast. Hot Food offering is different each day, the pastries and baked goods were fresh, and the diced fruit was sweet, large pieces and premium selections like pineapple, blackberries, blueberries, honeydew. Hotel Bar has a good selection, bartender is accommodating. Rooms are above average. The hotel seems to be on the older side but it looks like the property had a recent renovation. Overall, I'd recommend anyone to stay here. Looking forward to come back! read more
