Un-tuna sandwich
Anne Marie H.

I went here for a late lunch with my daughter. The place was cute, and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, I wanted the veggie burger, but the cashier said that she just sold the last one. I asked what she recommended and she said the un-tuna sandwich. So I ordered that along with a lemonade. My daughter ordered an açai bowl, and avocado toast. We grabbed a table outside, and the lemonade arrived soonafter. Maybe 10 minutes later, the açai bowl came out. It then seemed like a very long time before the avocado toast and sandwich came out to our table. We even noticed that the family who had ordered their meals before us, ate and left before we even got ours. Luckily, we were not in a hurry. I enjoyed the flavorful un-tuna sandwich, and especially appreciate the fact that the Sanibel Sprout is very vegan friendly! It's really the only restaurant on the entire island that offers many vegan meal options.

If you are looking for GOOD specialty coffee, this is the place. My husband went elsewhere on our first day and it was awful. I almost cried. I take my morning coffee seriously. I came here and returned three days straight. It's delicious. The vibe is perfect and the mood is positive. Love love love.

Food Menu extensive variety, service friendly and inviting, ambience, cute, clean, island vibe. Had a beautiful Cortado, old blend equal parts, espresso, and steamed milk, delicious.. love this little place to stop in before heading to the end of the island to visit to well-known places. Please stop here first you won't regret it and I'm so glad I did.

BEST coffee shop on Sanibel Island!!! As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the sweetest people!! A long line but it went quickly!! It's such a fun place with a beachy vibe, so cute!! If nowhere to sit inside, there's an outdoor patio. I ordered the Carrot Zinger, sooo good! And my husband had the iced vanilla latte. We also ordered the Yogurt Bowl with fresh fruit & a drizzle of honey...I ate every bite! The chocolate croissant was so soft and delicious!! We live in California surrounded by lots of coffee shops but I have to say this is by far one of the best we've ever been to!! Thank you to all who were working that day, your kindness & positivity started our day off just right!!

The Sanibel Sprout is a little coffee shop that we tried to visit last year, but they were still in the process of redoing their store. Inside the shop they had some nice items. They had candles burning, everything was light colored and clean. They had a small selection of gifts to purchase such as tee shirts, stickers, cards and more. Their menu was pretty decent. They had your typical coffee drinks, hot and iced. They also had a couple of smoothies to choose from. There were a few food items to choose from as well. We only came for some coffee. I was just along for the ride. My mother in law and wife ordered the Carmel Latte, which was made perfectly. My sister in law wanted to try a smoothie she had read about. After seeing her taste it looked like she did really like it. They did have 3 employees working. They were friendly but did not make small talk with us. It seemed like they were used to customers who come in all the time, so us having to read through the menu sort of through them off. But still very nice. Overall this is a nice stop. If I lived on the island, I would be coming here for coffee a lot. There is no drive through so you have to get out of the car but my wife and I love eating and drinking local. I would definitely recommend coming here if you are on the island. Grab a coffee, or a snack and enjoy the candle smells. Great experience.

Sanibel Sprout is a super cute little coffee type shop. We tried to visit last year but they were still in the process of redoing their store, so they only had a food truck. We enjoyed the coffee last year so we wanted to swing by again this year. We came late morning just to get some coffee. It is a very large spot but really cute inside. They had candles burning, everything was light colors and very clean. There were a few tables inside but majority of them were outside. They also had a small selection of gifts to purchase such as tee shirts, stickers, cards and more. Their menu was pretty decent. They had your typical coffee drinks, hot and iced. They also had a couple of smoothies to choose from. There were a few food items to choose from but we just wanted coffee. There were a couple of pasties but they did not look fresh but store bought. My mom and I went with the classic Carmel Latte, which was very good. I love that they write little messages on the cups. My sister wanted to try a smoothie she had read about. It was not my favorite but she did really like it. It was very peanuty to me but I could see it being very filling. They did have 3 employees working which seemed like a lot. They were friendly but did not make small talk with us. It seemed like they were used to customers who come in all the time, so us having to read through the menu sort of through them off. But still very nice. Overall this is a super cute stop. If I lived on the island, I would be coming here for coffee a lot. There is no drive through so you have to get out of the car but I love eating and drinking local over mass shops. I love their little messages on the cups and the atmosphere of the store. It is very cute, and I would definitely recommend coming here if you are on the island. Grab a coffee, or a snack and enjoy the candle smells. Great experience.

Iced latte

After a big grocery run on a rainy island day, I was in need of a coffee pick me up. I searched for a spot nearby and found the Sanibel Sprout was open. My sister and I walked in to pick up two iced lattes. The staff was super friendly, and we found out it was their first day open under their new ownership. The shop itself is super cute, and serves up both vegan and healthy items like bowls, sandwiches, juices and of course coffee. They also have a cute section for merch and jewelry. I enjoyed my latte with oat milk and vanilla. It's located in a little strip mall, but parking is easy. It's also super clean and bright inside with tons of natural light. Looks like a good spot to pop in and work at or read if you want to linger longer.

What a great place with a relaxing, beachy vibe to start your day! We enjoyed everything we ordered! The service was friendly even though they were always busy! The avocado and also the berry toasts were delicious! My daughter loved her mango morning smoothie and the coffee was perfect!

Chased sunsets and açaí bowls on Sanibel Island during my recent beach vacation, and I was lucky to find the best of both! The Sanibel Sprout is the cutest food truck with yummy wellness goodies like juices, açaí bowls and avocado toast. I had a delicious bowl with an acai base topped with crunchy granola and fresh strawberry, banana and coconut shavings. And I also picked up an order of avocado toast to enjoy a bit later on the beach. Both were fresh and delicious, and their ingredients tasted like quality choices. It sounds like this used to be a local shop that came back after 2022's hurricane as a food truck. And I have to say, this is truly the cutest food truck ever, with flowery art, friendly service, and a cute little seating area nestled nearby under the shade of a big tree, with bistro tables adorned with fresh flower bouquets. They brought my food right out to me at my table when it was ready, and I enjoyed it in the beautiful Sanibel sunshine. A tasty little slice of island paradise!

Seating inside is very limited, so this chilly morning wasn't ideal to sit and eat, but before our food was ready a table opened up and the owner thoughtfully brought us an extra chair to squeeze in. And the owner? She's a vibe. Big energy all day. Food was excellent and so was the coffee - don't sleep on this place!

Came on a weekday morning - most people ordered ahead for pickup but we ordered on site and it took a few minutes so definitely be patient. We just got drinks - the shaken espresso with protein powder and the flexpresso shake. Both were delish and filling! I loved the flexspresso, not sure where else you can get something like this - it was a protein smoothie with flax and chia seeds plus espresso! Absolutely delish, not too sweet, and held me over til lunch. Really nice staff, they told us all their food has the ingredients clearly listed, no additional additives so you know it's fresh! There are a few chairs but it's mostly grab and go. I'd definitely come back to try their other stuff!

Fun coffee shop with tons of food and drink options, lots of seating and quick service!…read more Came on a busy morning and ordered the coffee flight - they have some pre picked or you can create your own. I picked my own and thought it was a fun way to try several of their lattes! I believe you can get it hot or iced but definitely dine in if you get this! I also got a breakfast crepe which was delicious, crispy, and filling. My husband got a bagel sandwich which was also huge! We loved everything we got and the menu is big enough that you could come several times and try new things. They have a back area with tons of seating too. Lots of folks were working on laptops and there were a few dogs. It was a bit pricey but seems par for the area. Overall, I'd definitely add this to my list of favorite spots in Fort Myers!

I always try a Mocha at a new spot - the taste did not disappoint! Really delicious and well made, I have a few "special order asks", oat milk, half sweet, etc. And the barista did well. 4/5 due to price. I paid nearly $11 for a mocha that I pay $5 at Dean's, within the Luminary downtown (which is organic coffee) and even Starbucks is $8 something. Too pricey for local coffee when there is lots of new competition out there!
