3 floors, there is some good stuff in there but my god is some of the staff just rude. I have 2 friends who sell there and both do pretty well. One of them put an item in his case for me a couple weeks ago so I stopped by to grab it and also looked at some of the silver in my buddies case and the employee told me not to buy his stuff, other dealers have cheaper silver and he may complain he sold something to cheap and call you to get it back. I told me friend this and he just laughed it off and said not to worry about it, he just had issues with tag switching a couple of times but also said he has stuff sell and the money given to other dealers and he also receives money for items that aren't his that he has to give back to make sure the rightful person gets paid, but he just writes it off as the cost of doing business and human error isn't preventable, he's more understanding than I would ever be.
It's the man who always works on Saturday who is the real jerk. Oh and yes the other booth did have some cheaper silver but government silver is worth more than happy birthday bars. A 1894 S silver dollar is worth more than a 1921. This guy talks down about someone who is probably half his age and spent his free time over the last month raising 70k of defense supplies for Ukrainians while this guy spends his weekends in an antique mall talking crap about other people. Not an isolated incident either. Confirmed so by sending my son in who had a similar experience. So overall this store is still probably worth the visit, you can find some awesome stuff there that you won't see at Walmart. Some of the history stuff is great such as WW2 documents, old advertising, art work, and even newer junk like Pokémon cards and Star Wars action figures, and I've even seen some 16th century Japanese items on the second floor a couple times. I would just take my business elsewhere if I was a dealer.
But both of my friends say that this store does good business and the managers are actually really good dudes so who knows. I just wouldn't do business with an establishment that talks about its dealers and customers the way these people do. read more
