There are no words that can fully express how grateful I am to have had Sang as my wedding makeup artist. I walked in with just a vague idea of what I wanted. And somehow, he just knew. He understood me without needing detailed instructions, and what he created was beyond anything I could have imagined. With just a few words and a feeling, he brought out a version of me that felt so effortlessly beautiful, so authentically me. His touch was gentle, his presence calming, and his eye for what suits each person is truly a gift. I felt seen, understood, and transformed If you're looking for someone who will make you look and feel your absolute best on your big day, I can't recommend him enough. Thank you, Sang, for making me feel beautiful and for being such a calming, supportive presence. You're truly the best!

Sang is an incredibly talented make up artist and hairstylist. He somehow manages to put together the right products in such a skillful and efficient manner that immediately transforms my face. I appreciate his collaborative approach and suggestions throughout the process. In addition to his skill sets, I find him very lovely and personable, making me feel calm and comfortable during our session.

I seriously need another excuse to book Sang for my hair and makeup again! He did our looks (me, fiancé, mom, MIL, and SIL) for both our engagement photos and the wedding day, and WOW we've never looked better! Sang is so professional--he made sure to get all the details about the wedding venues and our engagement shoots so that he can create and match our makeup and hair ideally for the setting. Since our engagement shoots and wedding were outdoors, he made sure my makeup was long-lasting so I stayed pretty all day. I really appreciate how attentive Sang was to everyone's needs. My mother-in-law had eye surgery shortly before the wedding, which made her a little nervous. We reached out to him ahead of time, and he made sure to give her extra care, making her look flawless. As for me, I wanted a natural look that wouldn't feel too cakey but still looked great in photos--Sang immediately understood what I was going for and knew exactly what would work best for my face. Thanks to him and his amazing skills, I felt super comfortable and confident in myself. Plus, it was my husband's first time getting makeup, and he was so nervous LOL but Sang was awesome at calming him down, telling him to relax and not be scared. It definitely put him at ease! His makeup was clean and natural, not at all obvious, just enough to make him look handsome! Sang is also the sweetest and most chill person to work with. He quickly became one of our favorite people during the whole wedding process. It was nice to share some stories with each other as well as some beauty tips. He even recommended some beauty products, which my mom literally bought right after haha Overall, we are very happy we got to hire him and his team for our special day and we highly recommend his service. 선생님! 너무 감사합니다. We miss you

Getting professional makeup is similar to going to a sushi restaurant and asking for omakase and hoping that the meal you're about splurge is worth every penny. With this belief, it is my hope that the master of the craft will transform anyone from an ugly duckling into a swan. And to that statement, Sang Park delivered his promise. With him and his assistant's magical Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo, he made us look FABULOUS into a prince and princess of the parade. His communication skill with my Korean wife and mother-in-law, having whimsical jokes and making them laugh and feel comfortable during the preparation, was what we all needed during such hectic times. Sang Park is really good at what he does, with over 10 years of experience in the industry specializing in weddings and other photoshoots. However, keep in mind that there will be an additional fee for mobile work if he has to drive to your destination.

Sang has such vision and so much talent. I was planning my elopement party and did not think I wanted my makeup professionally done because in the past, I've always ended up feeling like I did not come out looking like myself. I let Sang know this right off the bat for my makeup trial with him, and he was incredibly responsive. He understood my concerns and let me know he would go light around my eyes to keep my makeup looking as natural as possible while still glammed up. The end result was incredible - my base foundation looked like perfect natural and glowing skin. I could not get over the final look for the trial (which we used for my engagement photos) and the final glam he did for my elopement party! (Including the looks from the incredible work he did for my engagement shoot too)

    Engagement shoot

Sang exceeded my expectations with my makeup and hair for my wedding! At first, I was reluctant to do makeup after seeing a few of my friends do it for their wedding, but he assured me that I wouldn't look like a k-pop star and I would barely notice. He first did me and my wife's engagement shoot, then just me for my wedding and I couldn't be happier that I chose Sang. He is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable! Definitely would recommend! Thank you again Sang!

I can't begin to express how grateful I am for Sang. He did my makeup beautifully for my engagement shoot and wedding. Not only did my hair + makeup look flawless in person, but also photographed beautifully. He made me feel and look like a princess! Sang was also very professional and easy to communicate with. He made getting ready the morning of the wedding fun and exciting with my bridesmaids. My bridesmaids absolutely loved his hair + makeup too. They said he was especially great at applying makeup according to their skin types and face shapes. Sang is the perfect makeup artist for natural and beautiful makeup and phenomenal hair. I highly recommend him for when you need professional makeup done! Thank you Sang!

First of all, Thank you so much, Mr.Park. When I and my husband were getting late in place on my wedding, he was kindly understand to us and was humorous and witty. In my opinion, he is truly a good talented hair stylist & make-up artist. I was surprised at how pretty I looked after putting on my makeup. A child saw me and called me Elsa, the main character of Disney Frozen lol. He's a lot of ideas, creative and helpful. This is because after my father made the bouquet, the flat part was completed with the ribbon he gave, a gorgeous and wonderful bouquet that was only one in the world. Thank you again, thank you for making me the best and most beautiful bride and for doing my mother's hairstyle and makeup.

It is my first time visit that studio. I booked the time just one day ahead but Sang was able to respond promptly. He took the time to prepare and he was thoughtful with his work:) I like how it turned out !

But when he asked me what hair cut I wanted and showed him a picture of a burst fade Mohawk and he proceeded to ask have you had this haircut before. Then I showed him a picture of me with the haircut I wanted (which was a burst fade Mohawk) and he proceeded to say "is that really you". This was at the beginning of the hair cut. Mid way he asked a second time if I had ever had this hair cut before which I answered yes. Also at the beginning he had mentioned how much are we taking off the top. I mentioned just a little bit and we can work our way down. When it came to cutting the top I feel he had gone too low. At that point I just wanted to get out of the chair. I waited 2 days to post this just to see if my hair needed to settle in since I went from a wild lions mane to what ever this short hair cut I have now. But no matter how much I attempt to style my hair it just looks dumb. My feedback to Hin is if you aren't confident in cutting someone's hair then please just say so. Or if your specialty is clean cuts then tell your client so they can make the decision of sitting in the chair. I may come back to try with someone else to cut my hair since I feel the people here have some skill.

As soon as I sat down, my nerves went away. Yuji was so gentle and attentive, and I felt really well taken care of. My appointment lasted about an hour and included a wash and cut. Parking is validated for up to two hours, which is definitely enough time. I was so happy with my results. I truly don't know how Yuji creates such magic with his hands! I'll be coming here from now on for my haircuts. Please show Yuji and Hair Craft your support by leaving a generous tip. An establishment like this that truly gives you high quality results for such a generous price deserves to be met with gratitude and good tips. Too many salons are charging an arm and a leg for a basic trim these days, and Hair Craft is not one of them. There were only 1-2 stylists working during my visit, so please be patient and make sure to book at least three weeks in advance. When I booked, they were already scheduled out for three weeks, and I overheard them telling other callers the same thing. Thankfully, it was absolutely worth the wait. I can't wait to come back and will definitely be booking with Yuji again. Thank you Hair Craft for such a wonderful experience!!!

It was my very first time with The Hideout Salon and not only was he understanding of any scheduling rearrangements we had to make, he also made sure to make it a point that we would be setting enough time aside for what we would anticipate needing so that when the time came, there would be zero rush along with top quality service which makes a huge difference in customer experience compared to factory booking which sacrifices quality, time, and attentiveness for squeezing in numbers, and as clients we all greatly appreciate this! While I was waiting Allie was very sweet and settled me in/welcomed me and offered me something to drink. The decor of the place felt very cozy and cute. If youre a dog lover you'll also be very happy to probably see a friendly cute Lil doggo named Carl (Karl?) comfortably shimmying his way around the shop (and if youre scared of dogs dont worry, he really just does his own thing Lol). Hes So darn cute and floofy. I came in for both a color and a consultation for a potential cut. Because I sometimes tend to notice/look at details that others may want to gloss over or perceive as me overanalyzing, it felt really difficult for me to explain to others how my recent haircut from another place just a month or two ago had specific lengths and cuts in specific areas going around my whole hair that had left my previous haircut feeling kind of "off" in certain ways and that I felt was giving my hair the very slight illusion of looking shorter than it actually really was and a little "choppy" in some areas, which then had an effect on how it framed my face/widened it instead of helping elongate it. But when I explained it to Daniel, he totally got it and even held up the individual sections that he agreed were causing those effects, why it was creating the effect that it was and how we would resolve it. I was so happy that he not only truly acknowledges and makes it important to understand where his clients are coming from (whether its concerns or goals etc) but that he also has such skill and knowledge to be able to fully do so and hit the nails right on the head. The color was also beautiful as well and because I wanted something that was healthier than permanent that would also give my hair a healthier appearance (ie shine, softness, gloss etc) he recommended the demi and also mentioned that it would make it easier down the road for me to go lighter if I ever wanted to. The color blended and matched so well with the rest of my hair and everything from the cut to the color made me feel like all of my goals were achieved. Everything Daniel did with my hair left me feeling so *Bonita*, and he was just such a joy to work with and an awesome person all around. Thank you Daniel for this lovely experience :) -------------------------------- Parking: Since the salon is in the heart of Downtown, its best to try and arrive a bit earlier than your appointment time and to be prepared for alot of one way streets and quickly turning into the available open public parking lots closeby before passing the salon (to avoid having to go further down in a circle to get back to the parking again). I believe there are 2 or 3 lots before you pull up to the salon that have big signs that say public parking. If youre driving towards the direction of the salon, out of the 3 the first one youll pass is just self-service/pay which was the one I parked in, and the other two have attendants as you pull up to the salon. Im not sure if both of those allow open access to all, so i will find out the next time I go again :) The front of the salon itself can be very easy to miss so just make sure to park before you even pass it on your GPS and youll see a small little sign over a door that says the Hideout salon when you walk up. There will be a door code for you to enter so just ask the salon for the door code in advance so that youre all set to go when you get there as well :)

I left The Hideout completely blown away by the results and didn't feel the need to tweak, adjust, or "fix" anything afterward, which is rare. Even the blow-dry/silk press combo lasted a full week. Daniel is kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely lovely to spend time with. I've absolutely found my stylist and will 100% be back.
