However, they did not have an igniter on hand for our particular furnace. We did not hear back from them about when an igniter would come or how much it would cost. We ended up buying one ourselves, but this still did not solve the problem. Turns out there was a cap on top of the chimney that was blocking the exhaust from leaving the home. Once this cap was removed the furnace fired up and worked perfectly.

Our HOA requires dryer vent inspections every other year, so I hired the Dryer Vent Squad of Ft. Collins to inspect my dryer vent. Afterwards, the DRYER VENT SQUAD of FT. COLLINS sent me an email report saying my dryer vent hose was completely disconnected. They said they could fix it, but it would involve busting up the drywall to get at it, and they don't repair drywall. They sent a blurry PDF photo with the email to "show" it was disconnected. After months of wrangling with the HOA to determine whether I or the HOA was the party responsible for this repair, the HOA said it was all on me. Since it was essentially a construction project to repair it, it took me a year or so to save up the money to do it. I finally called a licensed contractor to open the drywall and reconnect the dryer vent hose, but when the contractor opened the drywall and visualized the whole length of the vent hose, they found it was NOT actually disconnected at all. I told the DRYER VENT SQUAD OF FT. COLLINS about this. They checked my account and said they actually MADE A MISTAKE and sent me the WRONG info and photo -- it was for a different address. While they refunded me for the inspection, their mistake cost me over $500 to have the drywall torn out, repaired and re-painted, all for nothing because of their mistake. When I asked THE DRYER VENT SQUAD OF FT. COLLINS to cover the cost of the contractor ripping out and repairing the drywall, they ghosted me and wouldn't even offer to share the cost. Do yourself a favor and FIND ANOTHER COMPANY. I found out the hard way that this business CANNOT be trusted.

They have an online booking system where you tell them which services you want and how many vents you have, and you can pick a date and time for the service. Then they call you and confirm, and send you an estimated cost and estimated time to do the job. Their rate is a minimum $950 that covers 15 registers (supply and return), plus $20 per extra register. If you get the dryer vent cleaned at the same time it's a discounted rate of $130. They do a variety of additional cleanings and services as well, but I did not get any of those. Luis came over at the agreed time (after texting me that he was on his way), looked everything over, and had me sign the agreement. He gave me an estimate of 5 hours for my large house (28 registers plus the dryer vent), which was very close to the actual time. He did not attempt to upsell me on anything. The best feature of the service is the before and after vent photos. Luis pulled an amazing variety of junk out of my vents (mostly crayons and pencils, with a few unidentifiable pieces, and a moderate amount of dust and lint). This is a more elaborate process than I imagined. They attach a large device like a vacuum cleaner to the side of your furnace to suck air back from all the ducts. This is fairly noisy and runs for the whole period they are cleaning. Then they open up each register, clean the cover, and blow out the insides of the duct with compressed air. Some of the debris falls on the floor, but Luis did a good job of cleaning up at the end.

When I was presented with the bill the charge was still there. I spoke with the office and they said there was ' no way to remove the charge from the bundle of services '. I was trying to have…read morecarpets cleaned for company that was coming in from out of town and really needed to have the job done today. I was told that they could try to squeeze me in around three or 4 PM but they would try if possible to come earlier. Around 11 AM I got a call saying their technician had finished a job early and could come if that's ok. The technician was here within 10 minutes and prompt Lee looked at the house and gave me an additional quote for stairs as I was thinking about doing that. The price was reasonable and actually ended up being a little bit less than what I was expecting. The service was great and the quality of the cleaning is exceptional. I have had my carpets cleaned before and still would see certain marks. I am not seeing those marks that I normally see and can tell that the carpets have been very well cleaned and taken of. Even though this is the first time I have used this company to have my carpets cleaned, I will definitely be using them in the future for additional needs. I was so pleased with their ability to fit me in to the schedule as well as exceed my expectations.
