DO NOT RECOMMEND - BUYER BEWARE We bought a 2021 Hyundai Palisade from Sandy Sansing Ford & Lincoln in Daphne, AL about 5 months ago, along with the highest warranty they offer, because we needed a safe, reliable family vehicle. Last week the car started acting up. Day by day it got worse, and now the engine sounds like it's knocking / about to sling a rod. We immediately scheduled the earliest service appointment they had (Monday the 12th). By Thursday the 8th, the vehicle clearly wasn't safe to keep driving, so I called to see if we could bring it in early and get a loaner. I was very clear on the phone: * The car is in my boyfriend Gavin's name * He could not take off work (10-hour welding days near Mobile) * I would be dropping the vehicle off for him * I asked if that was okay -- and was told YES So I found a babysitter for our 7-month-old, drove an hour to the dealership, switched over my baby's car seat and belongings, signed paperwork, and was handed the loaner keys. Only AFTER all of that did they look at my license and say I couldn't drive the loaner because I'm not 21. Annoying? Yes. But I understood. So I asked the most logical question: Can Gavin come get the loaner since it's HIS car and HIS warranty? Answer: NO. They then told me: * Gavin couldn't get the loaner either * They weren't giving us a loaner at all * And because we "have another vehicle," it wasn't their problem To top it off, the loaner manager and a manager both told me this was "all my fault" because I supposedly misspoke -- even though everything I said was approved over the phone and I never once said I would be driving the loaner. Their solution? Take all my things back out Put my baby's car seat back in Get into a knocking, unsafe vehicle Drive it an hour back home All after paying good money for the vehicle and paying extra every month for the top warranty. We are a working family with a baby. We bought this SUV for reliability and peace of mind -- not to be blamed, dismissed, and stranded because of poor communication and zero accountability. If this is how Sandy Sansing treats customers AFTER the sale, imagine how little they care when you actually need help. I am extremely disappointed in the Sandy Sansing Ford dealership in Daphne, Alabama. We live in Foley. We purchased a 2025 Ford Ranger Sport on November 29. Within the first 70 miles the check engine light came on. We messaged our salesperson, Jason Findley, to let him know what was going on. He asked if we could come back to get it checked out and we agreed since we had to come back anyway for the water bottle and garage door opener we forgot. Since it was difficult to find where to plug the computer in to get the code and the service department was closed, we agreed to come back on Monday, December 1. My wife could not come back due to her work schedule so I showed up at 8:15 am on Monday. When I arrived I told Jennifer Buck in the service department that I was there to get my brand new truck looked at because the check engine light came on at 70 miles the day we purchased it. I immediately was met with an attitude and was told, "Well you need to take this to the other side." First off, what other side? I reiterated that this vehicle was purchased a couple days ago and I needed my brand new vehicle's check engine light looked at and resolved. She asked if I had an appointment. I stated again I just bought this vehicle on Saturday and I would like assistance. After gathering info, I was told it will be awhile and to have a seat. Reminder, I arrived at 8:15 am. Fast forward to 11 am, I was still waiting without any sort of updates. I was trying to be patient and understanding that the shop was probably busy. My wife texted me and said she got a text that the wait was estimated to be until 5:30 pm. My wife had to call three times before getting something other than voicemail. When my wife got Jennifer Buck on the third call she inquired why it was taking so long and said the dealership needed to provide a loaner or an Uber to get me back to Foley. Jennifer informed my wife that the dealership does not do loaners. As soon as Jennifer got off the line with my wife she instantly headed to the garage to check on my truck. At 11:11 am I saw a guy under the truck. I saw the mechanic pull what looked like an oil or fluid catch pan out from under my truck. Apparently the oil pressure switch had to be replaced. Come to find out, there was a loaner waiting for me at 9 am. A loaner supposedly the dealership does not do. Why was I not told there was a loaner? I had to rearrange my entire work schedule and morning to wait almost four hours for 30 minutes worth of work. I was given the keys to my truck by Jennifer and told I was good to go. I said ok but where is my paperwork for the service done? I was told the paperwork was not finished. I told her I was not leaving until I get paperwork. I was then told the mechanic is at lunch. I said I would wait. The mechanic who was standing next to me and Jennifer rolled his eyes. I told him I was not sure why he was rolling his eyes and he can walk away. I need my paperwork. After 20 minutes I got the paperwork from the sales manager in the finance department. This is the worst service we have ever received from any Sandy Sansing dealership. I am disappointed to be honest. I expected better customer service than what I received. To spend so much money on a vehicle just two days prior and to be treated poorly for an issue that was no fault of my own is ridiculous. The ball was dropped. Btw. Sir/Madam: I write this to give a voice to those seldom heard but often disregarded and mistreated by dealerships. I arranged with the Daphne Dealership to purchase a 2026 Lincoln Aviator Reserve for $81,900.00 before reduction and trade in. I sent an electronic $1000.00 deposit to hold the vehicle for three days, picking up on February 27, 2026. All financial arrangements had been confirmed between the dealership and USAA. I arrived at the dealership this morning around 11:45. I met with Jonathan Howze. After welcoming me, he proceeded to tell me the vehicle had been sold the day before. He then tried to offer me a cheaper vehicle at the previously agreed upon price for the more expensive vehicle I had reserved with my deposit. No one called me to tell me the vehicle was sold, instead they waited for me to drive from Pensacola to tell me. When I asked why make a deposit there was no response. This bait and switch action is indicative of top down mismanagement and complete disregard for the customer. I could not nor would ever purchase or recommend a Sansing dealership, being a disabled veteran and making the trip for no reason was a slap in the face and show a disregard for military members. Promised floor mats for a vehicle I purchased for my son. They couldn't find the paperwork and gave me used floor mats that nearly caused an accident, as they were too large. I found the paperwork and was actually accused of writing the item on their "we owe" sheet, which the salesman signed. it's been 6 months and after numerous attempts to work with a manager there I've gotten no where! I've attempted to resolve this with five visits, and numerous phone calls. My salesman promised on paper and on the phone he would take care of me, two levels of management promised the same. Where has the good Christian man Sandy Sansing gone? He is obviously there in name only... Floor mats are a small item I know, but it is the principle of the matter, a promise is a promise. The service at EVERY Ford dealership is atrocious so I came to this place with that knowledge and must say, I was blown away at their incompetence, lack of concern for the customer, and overall demeanor throughout every interaction at this place. Don't bother making an appointment as I did 3 weeks in advance because they'll just keep your car and never followup even if you explain you have to have it back by a certain time. If they can't do it during that time window, I will reschedule. Ive now wasted a ridiculous amount of time just to be told to basically go f myself. I live Ford vehicles but I'll never own another because of this dealership and this service dept. Been driving 30 yrs, all Fords. Never again. I have to shout out to Steve Bryars in the service department. We had a major problem with our Bronco while visiting and had to leave our car there for about a month. Steve communicated with my husband on a regular basis. He was very supportive and I honestly feel this dealership is responsible for the positive turnout of this situation. Arrived the next day for the appointment only to find that the sales rep we were assigned was busy and that the car wasn't there. Was told by a different rep we were talking to that the car was "on its way from Texas". The person I talked to the previous day said he would go get it for us and have it here. Be aware, you may be insulted, pressured, or ridiculed for not accepting an overpriced quote. $1000 for 1hr of work and easily dispensable parts. They left my mother a condescending and antagonistic note upon pickup. This was childish and insulting and I would NEVER let a fool like some that work here TOUCH my car. read more

Terrible buying experience. After hours of back and forth with the salesman, the finance manager took over. He sat me down and started trying to finalize the sale, handing me a pen to start signing. At this point I hadn't been shown any numbers. I had no idea what I would be paying. I was finally able to get a number that I liked, but the worst was yet to come. Getting a hold of these guys after the sale is impossible. I needed a repair done through the warranty they sold me, but they failed to provide any of the pre sale inspection paperwork that is needed when getting warranty work done. Needless to say I have not been able to get that paperwork because these guys don't answer their phones or return calls. Now I'm forced to cancel my warranty and eat the repair costs. read more

I just had my annual service completed at my dealership this week and became concerned that the service technician told the service advisor he put 10 quarts of oil into my 2016 Mustang with the track package, which, according to the owner's manual, calls for 8 quarts of oil. This car has 14,800 miles on it and is in showroom condition. IF, in fact, he did put ten quarts of oil into my crankcase, there is a very high risk of frothing, creating air bubbles in the oil and lubricant failure. Hence, no more Coyote engine. I called the service advisor to confirm what the tech actually put into the engine later that day and my message went to her voicemail. No response. Day two. I called and left another voicemail. No response again. I called later that day again asking her to confirm. No response, but the receptionist returned my call and said she was going to put a note on her desk to call me ASAP. DAY THREE. CRICKETS. After purchasing three cars from this store and doing almost al of my service work here, I guess they could care less about their customer. DAY FOUR. STILL no call back! IF they DID put 10 quarts into my engine, it will be a very expensive error on their part. Too bad. I always liked this dealership and would normally give them four or five stars. read more

come to look at one car, ended up not purchasing it due to several issues when test driving it. ended up purchasing a maxima from them, they took it to gas up and the "battery" went dead. Gave them the benefit of the doubt come the next day to pick it back up, got home their technician didn't even tighten up the brake caliber it was about to fall off, car sounded like a freight train coming to a halt, when I picked it up it was 40° outside, by husband checked the air after we got it home, it didn't work. Drove back to the dealership twice for them to have to reschedule me. So I'm driving a new vehicle with no air due to their sorry communication. It is pure ridiculous. They told me I had to contact Ford myself to get the rental covered and Ford told me they would only cover it of the dealership submitted the papers. We bought a used truck with them, and we trusted everything would be fine until we got home and realized that the truck didn't have a spare tire, and the key to access it, so l went back there and comment about it with the sales guy, his answer was humm, that's all l got it! While visiting Daphne, and other areas on vacation, my oil light came on in my Dodge Avenger. Sansing checked, noted that the oil needed changed. Changed the oil and we were back on the highway in a matter of 30 minutes. My family has done business with the dealer in Pensacola and is/was equally impressed. Keep up the good work! read more

Horrible experience. Called to schedule an oil change for the RV and the earliest they could get us in was 2 weeks out. Made the appointment and asked if they were able to get us in right away when we come and explained we would be waiting there and driving from an hour away. They told us that it was no problem and would get us in right away and told us to be there at 7:30am. Get there at 7:30 to not even be helped for almost ten minutes because they have at least 20+ cars all being dropped off at the same time. Then they tell us that it would be awhile when we said we were waiting and told us RVs are drop off only and they only have 1 bay for RVs. Would've been good if the person that scheduled the appointment told us that. Husband gets pissed that they wasted our time driving up there and asked why the lady on the phone told us different and then they told us to leave because he was pissed. Didn't even try to offer any type of solution or apologize that the person told us wrong. WASTE OF TIME. read more

Since we originally purchased the car here for my mother and my mother has recently passed away this service department has been excellent. My husband and I normally take our cars to the dealership where we bought them to be serviced. Since we are going to be selling this car, we wanted to make sure that it was still as good as when we purchased it and that maintenance was up to date. The excellent service manager agreed to service the car and check it out while my husband and I are out of town at MD Anderson. He then called letting me know that he had changed the oil and wiper blades and that everything else checked out just fine. I can't say enough positive things about the service department at Sandy Sansing Ford. I know that soon either my husband or I will be looking at new cars. The service department has made us consider what Sansing has to offer. After all, we only deal with sales people once, but a great service department is worth more than platinum. read more

Purchased a truck two months ago and notified them immediately of obvious rear end issues. Shakes terribly at 50mph and anything above 65mph. Was told they would fix it. Took it in and it left driving the exact same. Was then ignored by all parties at the dealer for 2 months. Finally got it in after a bad review by my wife and they did a quick repair that I had already done on my own dime at a local reputable shop and was told if this didn't fix it that it was my problem since I bought it used. Left multiple messages for multiple parties at the dealer and was ignored. Was told "if someone buys a truck and 2 miles down the road the engine blows up, we wouldn't fix it" That is a direct quote from the used sales manager. Was never contacted back by the general manager who I called and left messages for. I understand that I bought a used truck, but I was told that they would not sell a different truck on the lot with the same issues- but I had to deal with mine. They did offer to check it out if it still had the same problem after I left today- but i would have to pay for it. It still shakes terribly but it's my problem. read more

I took my 2020 F250 Tremor to Sandy Sansing in Daphne, AL for it's first oil change and tire rotation. After paying over $80.00, I got in my truck to head home and find that the "re-train the TPMS" wasn't accomplished. I spent two days looking into this because the experts at Sandy Sansing forgot this step when adjusting the tire pressure. Makes me wonder what else they forgot to do....... Was the oil even changed???????? Oh yeah, and I'm still waiting for the Service Department to call me back. When/if they do, I'll read to them their very own maintenance service manual. read more

DO NOT go work at this ford or even bring your car there. The equipment they have their mechanics use are trash more then half of the stuff doesn't work they try and blame their staff for it not working but it's just poor maintenance on the managements part. Most of the time your car is just sitting there not being able to be worked on that's why it's taking so long because they can't even work on it. Half of their good mechanics quit, or got fired. Half of the people there are getting fired because they like to have sex with the female workers. And if you're not in their little group you're an outcast and you'll get treated like trash by management. Most of the management there is having affairs with the female workers. Also half of the bay doors don't work. So hopefully your car isn't left over night at the shop because you could easily brake into the shop and I promise you your car isn't locked. They have such terrible management. They offer their employees a guarantee of X amount of hours just to take it away randomly without any kind of notice. They they'll stick them with stupid jobs that will take long then what they'll get paid for. (Aka they'll do 3 hours worth of work and only get paid 1 hour) because they get paid flat rate that's that's why they'll tell them they have a guarantee when In reality most of the time they don't actually have that. The managers love to just leave and take trips on their boats and leave the place with no management. The service writers DO NOT KNOW what they're doing or what they are even talking about when it comes down to peoples cars. The mechanics try and tell them what they put down is wrong and they'll get yelled at for it. So just to let you know when your car is taking long it's because of the service writers not the mechanics. Sandy sansing ford IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO. weather you need just a simple oil change or a transmission something or some one will screw it up or even if you want a job don't go. Because you will get treated like your worthless. Because more then half of the staff wants to quit. Also when you try to quit they'll try and bribe you to stay and then continue to treat you worse then before.I really hope the hire ups in sandy sansing looks into getting new managers for this ford. Because these guys truly suck. Good thing I know a lot of people in the car community so I can let them know to NEVER work for this place. read more

We had auto trouble that was under warranty, Sandy Sansing told us what the problem was (a Death Wobble) and that they could fix it once the part was ordered and came in. We picked it up after 3 days, and a week later headed home (a 1600 mile trip) towing our 5th wheel. We'd gone less than 300 miles when we experienced the same problem only worse. Had to stop at another Ford dealer who then told us an "aftermarket" part was used and it didn't last. We've now spent $250 out of pocket. We contacted Sandy Sansing who promised to refund our out of pocket expenses. That was 2 months ago and we still haven't seen the refund. We contacted them 3 different times and each time was told the check should arrive soon. DO NOT go to this dealership, they do shoddy work, and lie on the repair bills which shows the part # for the warranteed part which was not used. They also make promises that they do not keep. Also, we tried to contact the dealership manager who never returned our calls. Called FORD customer care next and got absolutely nowhere with them either. Their only resolution was to contact Sandy Sansing and tell them to contact us. Really??? At this point I doubt we'll every buy a FORD again and we will get rid of the two that we now own. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Went in knowing exactly what I wanted (so the salesman had it EASY.) Mike, ever so nicely, came in on his day off ( which he reminded us the whole time) to help us purchase our vehicle. Concerning issue number one: They had a very large copy of my license and we do live in Alabama yet they still tried to charge FLORIDA TAXES. $1200 more. I understand mistakes happen. Yet everyone was so nonchalant about it from the top down. (Which makes me believe this is a common occurrence.) Number two: I asked for an EQUAL trade for 21 inch rims and was told by Bryan Johnson, that the only issue I may run into is that the tire sensor may not match from 2019 to 2020 rims. The mechanic came in and said there would be no issues. Now the third time our numbers came around everything had changed. When I asked why, my salesman knew nothing!! Wouldn't even explain it to me. I had to stop everything and go line by line to find my answer. Now we were being charged $1,000 for the rims and it was hidden in my rebate. Suddenly, Bryan thought that my rims were standard on my truck and I was trying to upgrade. Attention to detail! My gap insurance was quoted incorrectly. I received a notice in the mail that the numbers I was financing had completely changed. I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW I WENT TO VOICE MY CONCERNS AT THE DEALERSHIP. I asked to speak with the General Manager because I was assuming he's the head of that store! Understandably I was very upset but I went in calmly. I brought up all my points and BOTH Bryan(numbers guy) and Charlie (THE GENERAL MANAGER) immediately shot up and started saying they didn't have to deal with this and it wasn't Charlie's problem. He was upset because I had pointed at him. Wasn't interested in hearing me out. Absolutely unprofessional. Last time I checked I am the CUSTOMER. You don't just get up and leave in the middle of my conversation. ONLY GUILTY PEOPLE GET DEFENSIVE. Oh and by the way, NO ONE ever told me a single feature on my car. Thanks for that too! read more

I brought my car to Sandy Sansing 18 months ago and left it for two days to have a recall completed. When I picked up the car, I was told the work was done. I continued to get recall notices which stopped after a few months (I figured it would take corporate awhile to register the completed work), but started receiving them again in October 2020. When I got yet another notice in November 2020, I called the dealership to see if the recall was for the old issue or a new recall on the replaced part. I was told that the dealership had record of the car being there for two days in June if 2019, but no work was done! So I scheduled an appointment for January 5. Sandy Sansing knew for a month and a half that I was bringing the car in and for what reason. I dropped the car after hours on the fourth, called on the fifth after they had been open for a couple of hours, and was told that I'd have to make another appointment because they didn't have my part. No one called to tell me, I was inconvenienced for a second time, and I had to call them to find out! I didn't even get an apology. I wound up calling Chuck Stevens Ford in Bay Minette and they not only had the right part in stock, but they could take my car the next day! They completed the work in under an hour and were very kind and professional! After talking to several friends, I'm finding out that this is very typical of Sandy Sansing. We will have 4 children starting to drive in the next 8 years and they will all need a car. I will not be buying any of them from Sandy Sansing! *I gave them 1 star because I couldn't post with no stars. They don't deserve that one. read more

Stopped in to look at new Explorers. Was greeted by Brian and he showed us a the Explorer but the my eye caught the Expedition. He quickly came back with the key. After driving it I called my husband and told him this was the "one". Brian got called and asked me if I minded if he got someone to finish the paperwork. It really made me feel good that any manager would take his time to do this for me. I have since referred my best friend to him. He changed my thoughts about car shopping. First, let me say that this is NOT aimed at Sandy Sansing Ford & Lincoln in Daphne, AL. My sales guy was excellent & the dealership treated me right & gave me a good deal. My ONLY beef is with Ford Motor Company & the way they mistreat retired Fire, Police, & EMS personnel. Ford Motor Company promotes a $1000.00 discount supposedly for Fire, Police, EMS, & Military veterans. At first, I said what a nice & gracious thing to do...but, as I continued making the deal, the Ford Emergency Responder Discount Program database would not accept my career firefighting credentials...BECAUSE I WAS RETIRED!!! Apparently, it doesn't matter for Military active or retired veterans (as it should be). But otherwise, retired fire, police or EMS personnel are out of luck. What a slap in the face & total dis-service for retirees who responded to fire, police, & EMS emergencies every day. Don't get me wrong...I love my new truck I purchased 16 days ago. But, the more I thought about this, the more upset I've become. read more

After having my Navigator at 4 other Ford/Lincoln dealerships in the area and not getting my problem solved I called Sansing Lincoln. I expected them to turn me away since it had been looked at by the other dealers that either found no problem or couldn't fix the problem but Mr. Dylan Wall said "bring it on". After dropping it off and being given a courtesy car Mr. Jodi, the technician, spent countless hours, many of which he didn't get paid for, diagnosing and fixing the problem.
