He had arthritis in his neck and back but is fine with his head being gently lifted. I explained this when I scheduled his appointment and when I dropped the dogs off. They never told me of a special handling fee or that they had any concerns. I got a call that the dogs were done and upon picking them up I was told they couldn't complete his haircut because of his arthritis. I understand not feeling comfortable and not wanting to hurt him, I appreciate the care. I do not appreciate the fact that they charged me for a service that was completed. There prices are high to begin with and I was out even more and I still will have to finish his haircut myself at home. They can't handle his haircut and I wouldn't be going back if they could. They're a friendly group and I do feel like they always handled my dogs with care but the prices are so high and I can't say I agree with the way they handled our last service with them. Sadly looking for a new salon for both of my dogs.

Apparently the groomers on staff couldn't finish clipping his nails or finish his cut because "he was flailing" and "he was trying to bite them." She was showing us when I went to pick him up how he reacted to the scissors, and it was clear she just no effort to restrain his movements, and just didn't know how to make my dog feel more comfortable. They made no effort to right their wrongs with his grooming, no offer of a discount or anything. They just suggested I spend more money to take him to a vet to finish the job. I asked if he actually bit them, and they said no. Save your money and go to a groomer who knows how to handle a dog appropriately.

The facility was top notch with clean tile lined indoor pens and two huge outdoor runs with shade, pools, toys, water, whatever pup could want. She was professional, asking all the right questions and requiring all the proper info, like vaccination history, emergency contacts etc. A FAR cry from the other facility we had used the two days prior out of necessity. They were "this your dog? Ok, see you when you get back". Nice folks but a completely unprofessional operation with cut rate facility's for the dogs. Standard wire pens attached to caged runs. No play areas and I suspect minimal contact with the dogs. How it rated 4 star is beyond me. Sweet Dreams was first class. Well, well done.

Been taking my dog to this groomer for six years. They told me that they loved her and that she did…read morea good job getting her haircut. I've boarded her there several times. Her last haircut was atrocious and not what I asked for at all. When I tried to complain about that, the Cindy, the owner told me that my dog bit everybody at her place and that I would have a hard time finding a groomer to work with her. Never once has this place told me that my dog misbehaved at any time. So Cindy is lying through her backside to try to save her business . Now, in the last couple of years, my dog has developed a hatred of a certain color hair in women. And I see that is apparently Cindy the owner that brought this out in her apparently, she has been abusing my dog for the last six years without my knowledge. All the while, feeding me the line that my dog is doing just fine and she she's perfectly behaved. I also talked to another groomer there that Cindy doesn't know I know and she said that is very hard to work with Cindy. That Emma really is a good dog and she's sorry to see her go and that it was all a lie what the owner was saying. After looking at the other reviews here on yelp, I can see that there have been no positive reviews for nearly 7 years for this business. Perhaps we need to talk to the Better Business Bureau about getting them shut down. I don't like animal abuse.

I take my little chihuahua in for the doggie day care. He's only 3 and 1/2 lbs so he's really delicate. I trust Shawnee that she will care for him and not let anything happen to him. I really don't trust many places to watch out for him but I trust her. I wouldn't hesitate to bring my pet to the Painted Pooch for grooming or for the day care. Thank you!
