He had arthritis in his neck and back but is fine with his head being gently lifted. I explained this when I scheduled his appointment and when I dropped the dogs off. They never told me of a special handling fee or that they had any concerns. I got a call that the dogs were done and upon picking them up I was told they couldn't complete his haircut because of his arthritis. I understand not feeling comfortable and not wanting to hurt him, I appreciate the care. I do not appreciate the fact that they charged me for a service that was completed. There prices are high to begin with and I was out even more and I still will have to finish his haircut myself at home. They can't handle his haircut and I wouldn't be going back if they could. They're a friendly group and I do feel like they always handled my dogs with care but the prices are so high and I can't say I agree with the way they handled our last service with them. My family had a terrible and heartbreaking experience with Wolf Run Veterinary Clinic. My parents…read moretrusted them to board our family dog, Bodhi, while we were out of town for my wedding because he is a patient there and requires insulin injections twice a day. The night of my rehearsal dinner, my mom received a call that completely ruined what should have been a special weekend. We were told that a vet tech gave Bodhi 80 units of insulin instead of 8 units. This is an extremely dangerous mistake, especially for a 22-pound dog. I spent the night before my wedding unable to sleep, terrified about whether he would be okay. Bodhi then had to spend the next two nights on IVs and under monitoring. When my parents were finally able to pick him up, he was covered in pee and poop, had sores from licking, and still had the catheter in his leg. The woman who handed him over said she had never removed one before but could "give it a try." Four days later, Bodhi is still suffering from bloody diarrhea and shaking day and night. What happened was careless, traumatic, and completely unacceptable. Please think twice before boarding your pet here or trusting them with medical care. There are other options in the area, and I wish we had read the reviews more carefully before trusting them with our dog.

She overdosed him on Prednisone a dangerously strong Steroid!! She gave him Pancreatitis the second day he was on way too high of amount PREDNISONE! I Trusted her! All she kept doing were blood tests! She missed an Infection he had on the first blood test. For two yrs I kept taking him in for Strange weight gain and he couldn't even climb his stairs anymore to get on the bed. I told he was acting Strange and walking Funny. He had mushy feeling shoulders. She told me he had Fat Packs?? Huh? He had Cushing's Disease!! I'm not the only one that had a dog DIE UNDER THEIR CARE! I Wish I had taken Finn to Wolf run Veterinary Hospital from the beginning! Finn was Never Sick so just shots. Loyalsock Veterinary Hospital is Cheaper than other Bets and closer. Their CHEAPER TO PULL YOU IN! Then they Kill your pets because All the Vets there are HORRIBLE!! Dr Pardoe not only Killed Finn she destroyed my Mental Health Stability and I'm still Suffering! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND WOLF RUN VETERINARY HOSPITAL WHERE YOU AND YOUR PET ARE TREATED WITH HIGHLY KNOWLEDGEABLE VETERINARIAN's!! Spend that Extra Couple of Dollars to see Vets that could save your Furbabies lives! Everything Finn had was Treatable and he could've Survived with the Proper Care! Finally was able to do a return request but see that I either have to pay $8.99 return shipping or visit a store. Why do I have to pay shipping when it was clearly their fault and my closest store is over 50 miles away which would cost me in gas money. Not happy at all. I usually get from Chewy with no problems. They were "this your dog? Ok, see you when you get back". Nice folks but a completely unprofessional operation with cut rate facility's for the dogs. Standard wire pens attached to caged runs.
