They will offer you a sample when you come in, and you can either do a tasting or just do some shopping there. These chocolates are elite and are priced accordingly. The owner came out and talked to every table while we were there and provided Us with additional samples. Everything was delicious with amazing flavors. They had a blast and the staff shared her experience/knowledge about her personal favorite wineries in the area. I am partial to William & Chris, Ron Yates, Adega Vinho, Ferris & Fletch, Becker, and Kalasi. However, she recommended several that I hadn't tried or at least not recently. Having individuals in the group that like sweet wines, she knew exactly where to send them. Personally, I tried several dry wines that I really enjoyed. If you have not tried Fat Ass recently or better yet, since the new ownership, I encourage you to drop in for a tasting.

As the sun got more intense in our outdoor space, we asked if we could bring little Tinker indoors. They said 'yes'. They were so kind about it. It helps that Tinker is a small dog and super friendly and a non-barker. Joslyn was our server and she was very kind and helpful. On our next visit to Fredericksburg, we'll definitely be back to Safari Winery.
