At the conclusion of my third year in the business I had achieved numerous top listing and sales awards within my company, and was recognized nationally as part of "The Leading Edge Society" top 20% of agents in the country for my company. That alone makes the ~800 rent sounds like a bargain during the long winter time. In building washer & dryer shared by 4 units only. Everything is included except electricity and I pay for dedicated cable internet service. Amazingly easy and quick access to Pittsford Plaza, Henrietta Plaza, Market Place mall, Twelve Corners. You can choose from 4 different Wegmans within 8 minutes driving. It is a quiet neighborhood. Too quiet that sometimes you just want to add some white noise. Good management team (esp. Diana) and very efficient in getting things fixed. During winter time the snow shoveling is always done in a timely manner for the morning drive. Neighbors are mostly nice and friendly. No college kids around my building. Easy access to the Erie Canal Heritage Trail. In summer this area is comparatively drier than other areas. Cons - The building is almost reaching 50-year-old and with staying on the first floor you'll hear the footsteps from upstairs pretty well(and the units in the attached building second floor if there are kids). It isn't too much of an issue if you live on the second floor or if your upstairs neighbor(s) is considerate. Note: The address of the apartment itself is Pamela Lane, while the office is 200 French Creek Dr.

Any problems are dealt with in a timely manner and the location manager is very friendly and courteous. We are literally down in a small valley and surrounded by sooo many trees! I went from waking up to seeing my former neighbor's roof to waking up now to seeing beautiful trees and the sky. The ONLY downside is that only a select few homes in this location have washer and dryer hook ups. They do not all have them and there is no laundry facility on site. There is a laundry mat around the corner so it's all good, but it would be convenient to have one on site.

I think a lot has changed, but when I was first moving in, their office was situation directly on Park. I met with the manager, went through a pretty seamless approval process, picked out my unit, and moved in within the next few weeks. My studio was *charming* and *adorable* (okay, small) but it truly checked all the boxes for a 20 something living on her own for the first time! It WAS actually larger than any other studio I looked at, super clean, the kitchen space was totally separated by a wall, and there was a really nice bed nook. I paid ~$600/month, though I am sure prices have gone up since then. I felt that price was super reasonable for the ease of calling maintenance (I would do just about anything to be able to "call maintenance" now that I am a homeowner. It me. I am "maintenance...") a nice parking lot onsite, and the LOCATION. Right on Meigs between East and Park. It was flawless. I look back on my time renting with Hawkeye with a lot of nostalgia and happiness. There were no issues upon move out. I received my security deposit in a timely manner and I don't think they ever even showed my unit while I was still living there. If you're looking for dependable properties that are well maintained, Hawkeye has some GEMS and you'll be in good hands!

We loved the one bedroom loft and we signed a "Contract" for it, not a lease. We then paid a $1,200 deposit to hold the apartment until we moved in, in August. We were financially stable and able to pay the $1,200 a month for it until we were hit with an unknown debt that we had to pay off. So we had to make the choice to back out of it, no matter how incredible the place was. This is where it got nasty. I called Kathy the lady we have been dealing with the whole time and she went from this cheerful lady to one who just was angry at the world. She said in the "Contract" we signed if we were to back out we would not be able to get our deposit back. We pleaded until she said I will see what I can do. I just called back today and asked if they found someone to rent and she said "We did find someone to rent the Loft but we are not giving you any part of your deposit back!" I said not even a little bit? She said "Nope, after showing my boss all the paperwork he said to not give you any back!" I said oh ok? Then right before I could say another thing she hung up on me. So This is a warning about this place they are seemingly nice at first but very nasty at heart. It would've been nice if we could've gotten a small portion of the deposit back. I wish I could've given a good review, but I just can't because of the way my wife and I were treated. Being ten months married and happy this has been the most difficult part of our marriage because of this company. Even if one day we do become financially stable again to rent from them we will not because of how rude this company is!
