He was able to quickly assist the situation explained what was happening. I was able to find the access point in the backyard very quickly. After he remedied the issue, he took a walk-through the basement with me. Keep in mind, this was a three week old purchase so I was not greatly familiar with everything in the house. He pointed out some things I need to watch out for in the future. Definitely some preventive maintenance to be added to my list on this fixer-upper I purchased. It was well worth the money and his time! Somebody told me after he was about $200 less than the average person doing the same service.

The second appointment was for 7-8 am, we waited till 7:45 am. Since no one from Moran called us, we called them. A female said they had an emergency and she guessed that he would be here in another hour or so (we had a dental appointment that interfered so canceled.) We made third appointment, then discussed this lack of professionalism and customer service. This first appointment was to lead to an annual service contract, but given the lackadaisical treatment can we trust them? Unsure, we are still mulling that one. And an emergency for HVAC when the lovely fall weather is 50 at lowest, 70 at highest? In January when it's freezing, yes--but really? Decided to try another company.

Paid a bundle for a tech to look things over (including $99 just to travel 20 miles) and a few months later we ended up needing to replace a unit. We've worked with them for multiple years and finally gave up because of the poor value for our money. Unbelievable that other reviewers think their prices are great.

Back in 2022 a man from Arctic Refrigeration came to my home to fix my Buderus as I had no heat…read more The temperatures were in the single digits. He spent a couple of hours looking at my system and tinkering around but not fixing it. He told me he needed a new part and it would take up to 4 weeks to arrive then he'd be back. I never heard from him again. Fast forward to 2023 when we're -20° and surprise, my heat still isn't working. Again, they are given the information to come and fix the heater. I tell the dispatcher what happened and she reads the notes in my file that say "was advised to stop using secondary heating source." What?!? I have a secondary hearing source? And if so, what does that have to do with the broken one? I receive a call from Jim (I think that's his name) saying "their guy will be by today." No appointment was made just assumptions that I could drop everything and be at the house immediately without notice. I inform him that's not how I schedule my day and he needs to make an appointment. Two days later he calls back at 4:47am!!! and says they'll be by later today. He apparently forgot that I need to SCHEDULE my appointments especially since I'm in California where it's warm. Remember, I have no heat and it's in the single digits at my home. He says to me "well you didn't tell me you were in California." I was unaware I needed to check in with some random, rude stranger and let him know where I was vacationing. I called another company that I've hired in the past and trust. Arctic Refrigeration leaves jobs unfinished and still charges you, calls at ungodly hours, expects you to drop everything to accommodate them and inform them of your vacation plans. I do not recommend this company. ***I would encourage you to read the other reviews as they state similar experiences. Rudeness from company, promises to come back with parts and never did, inefficient work.*** Just don't forget to mention your vacation plans as they really like to know where you're going.

To hear the options and them explain that they can do either but wanted us to understand that it eventually would be best to replace and it's not much of a price difference to replace it versus repairing it. Overall, this plumber went above and beyond and came the next day. They gave notice before they arrived as i had requested. They were professional and respectful. Their prices were reasonable and fair and their work was more than sufficient. If you need a plumber, I recommend Green River Plumbing. Get your pipes fixed right at a good price.
