You have to hit the button repeatedly and make sure it is not defaulting to a high priced grade of gas. They do not encourage the best clientele. There is a sign up that they won't accept returns of drug paraphernalia. While it's good they are trying to prevent the spread of hep C the better approach would be to not sell things like crack pipes to begin with. Staff are pleasant and welcoming. They have a coffee/donut shop embedded in the station as well.

This F.L. Roberts located in downtown Greenfield is a great place to fuel up when in town. This gas…read morestation is located near a ton of different shops, and overall the gas prices are pretty reasonable while the gas pumps are really quick. The downsides to this station are that it is next to a liquor store which has a ton of traffic. This makes getting in and out a bit dicey at times but not unmanageable. During rush hour the difficulty intensifies but again isn't too terrible. On that same token, you often have to navigate around people walking through to the store. The convenience store here is also really tiny, but serves its purpose. In the end, it's not a bad place to stop, but be prepared to dodge pedestrians and cars when pulling in and out of the lot.

Convenient location, love that! Whether going to rt 2 or 91, this is fairly close to both. Bathrooms are very clean, I like that! And you dont need a key for them, that is a plus. Don't use the far lane gas pump or you risk getting sideswiped by people going to the drivethru window for the coffee shop inside. While you wait ads are blared at you from Gas Station TV. Small snippets of news are included, like the weather that is off the screen before you can read it and which is not spoken, but mainly it is ads. This is annoying. Some of the clientele are unsavory. One Sunday afternoon a guy who appeared to be detoxing said he needed to go to the front of the line because he was late for a wake. Dressed in grubby jeans? I don't think that's where you're headed. It can get busy in the mornings as everyone fills up on their way to work, but you get a crowd that works for a living and the staff are efficient so lines move quickly. Making a lefthand turn out of the parking lot you can face a lot of traffic, so I mainly go here when I am headed southbound.

The guy doing the inspection might have had the worst attitude I've seen. He barked at me not to pull it in, that was about all the communication he had with me, didn't say a word, didn't even look at me once. Ok, maybe he was having a bad day, whatever, I went into the office to pay and there was 3 people sitting there and, again, not one acknowledged me or looked at me, finally one guy just blurted out what I owe, I paid him, he gave me my change, and that was it, not even a thanks or anything. Its too bad cause I just moved to Winchendon last year and was looking for a new mechanic for my vehicles and my girlfriends vehicles, but it sure as hell isn't going to be this place, I can't understand how they have any positive reviews with employees like this.
