Dr. Chance was awesome, but everything else about this place sucked, to put it bluntly. I had all…read morekinds of trouble just getting through to them to make an appointment and waited on hold multiple times for over 30 minutes total. I had several medical tests done at a local imaging center, yet I was told I was responsible for literally bringing those results and they would not accept a fax/email, etc., from the imaging facility. Why?! Because that's their policy. Mm hmm. The location wasn't too far, so I took an Uber there due to not being able to use my right leg. I was dismayed that their main doors were extremely heavy and there wasn't a button to assist with opening. Fortunately, my Uber driver was kind enough to help. Extremely uncomfortable chairs in the waiting room and not one was made of anything but flimsy plastic. I was afraid to sit down and especially wondered how I'd get back up without use of both legs. I was made to go through another round of x-rays while holding myself in extremely painful positions before getting to the examination room. Fortunately, the news was mostly positive and Dr. Chance explained everything in detail and allowed time for me to make notes about his comments. I was told I'll need a leg cast and the nurse said I was okay to leave. Unfortunately, there was no one to help me open the enormously heavy double doors that lead back into the waiting room. Another patient who was paying at the back counter ended up coming to my aid. I'm certainly not looking for any kind of special treatment, but I do expect the employees to have some compassion or at least common courtesy.

I've been seeing Dr. Chance and Dr. Napierala for shoulder, hip, and hand issues. I've also seen…read morePhysical Therapist Elisa Vidaurri at the Schertz location. I couldn't be more pleased. Response to my appointment requests has been fast. Time is taken to respond to any and all questions. They all respect my digging in and doing my own research before seeing them. My most recent experience was in Physical Therapy, and it was great! Elisa built a home stretching and exercise program for me and worked with me to integrate it into my daily routine. The front desk? What can I say except their service is phenomenal. Always there for me and always responsive. Anna does a superb job. Thanks for everything!

In my 65 years of being a patient, Kellum is by far the best medical practice in my opinion. The…read morenurses and attendants or so friendly, efficient, and professional. Dr Gonzales is the BEST medical professional / doctor that I've known. He listens (which is rare for many doctors) and he always shares great health advice and health solutions. Lastly, the practice as a whole is a state of the art facility. Clean and technically savvy. It is an end to end practice (e.g., doctor, nurses, labs, xrays all on site). I am so grateful to be a patient!!!

Communication is complete trash at this practice I got referred by my insurance for a PCP. I went for my first appt and it was okay staff is nice some you can tell have attitudes.. I was seen at my first appt for a UTI and knew I needed antibiotics. I called to follow up the next day and didn't get a call back until that next week by that time the UTI spread to my kidneys I was in so much pain. Finally doing my visit 2wks later I got a call stating that my urine came back positive and that I needed to start the antibiotics. I voiced my concerns to the front office and the medical assistant during my visit. They apologized and stated they would do better. Fast forward to 6 wks later I got my annual wellness visit completed with them recently and have been waiting for a call from the MA to let me know about my results for my pap. I've sent in portal messages followed up with them twice this week and still no call. Be mindful this is only my second visit with them ... I'm sorry but I'm a medical assistant myself and I know how the job is supposed to be done and to communicate with my patients regarding imaging, lab results, refills etc. it just shows how lazy this clinic is. I'm currently seeing Dr. McClure she's a nice dr but they could do better. Looking for a new PCP.
