Connie has inspired us to keep believing in ourselves, in each other and our marriage. I call her a mechanic of the mind. She has given me so many valuable tools to handle the situations life has thrown my way. Connie has created a safe place where I can be vulnerable and go deeper into my feelings and feel my emotion. I have gained valuable insight to myself and I have grown to greatly appreciate her and our time together. I commend the work that is done by all of the counselors and staff at the Human Connection. Eric has done a great job putting together a powerful team that is there to offer a variety services and unconditional support. They help their community and each other to create a team that uplifts, loves and creates connection. I will continue to recommend Connie, the Human Connection and its wonderful team.

The previous negative review is to be disregarded by anyone of intelligence. It is obviously the…read morework of a person who was told the hard truths of reality and not the sugary pablum they had hoped for. Their stated experience of many other counselors shows their unwillingness to listen, reflect , and change behaviours. As both a trained counselor and one who is counseled by Connie I can state without reservation that she is not only professional and learned in her practice, but brings an incredibly high level of intelligence and empathy to her sessions. Her ability to both see the objective truth in a person and situation and then accurately relate such revelations is unsurpassed. She is able to balance clinical objectivity with humanistic compassion which allow for her to be truly heard and thereby understood by those she counsels. Speaking both for myself and another I fully endorse Connie and her practice and remind all that one only gets out of such endeavors as much as one puts in. I highly recommend Connie to anyone with questions and or difficulties in their personal lives as well as their relationships; basically, all of us.

My daughter and I had a very bad experience here. This counselor was supposed to do a suicide risk…read moreassessment and she didn't do it. She stated that she "threw it in the garbage". It almost cost me my daughter's life. She wants to normalize the use of drugs to teens by saying "that they're all doing it" as a way to gain trust with them. This was a horrible situation. Coming to this woman for help was a disaster for us.
