I have been seeing Connie for almost 2 years. My husband and I have seen her as a couple and we are currently seeing her individually. Connie has inspired us to keep believing in ourselves, in each other and our marriage. I call her a mechanic of the mind. She has given me so many valuable tools to handle the situations life has thrown my way. Connie has created a safe place where I can be vulnerable and go deeper into my feelings and feel my emotion. I have gained valuable insight to myself and I have grown to greatly appreciate her and our time together. I commend the work that is done by all of the counselors and staff at the Human Connection. Eric has done a great job putting together a powerful team that is there to offer a variety services and unconditional support. They help their community and each other to create a team that uplifts, loves and creates connection. I will continue to recommend Connie, the Human Connection and its wonderful team. read more

The previous negative review is to be disregarded by anyone of intelligence. It is obviously the work of a person who was told the hard truths of reality and not the sugary pablum they had hoped for. Their stated experience of many other counselors shows their unwillingness to listen, reflect , and change behaviours. As both a trained counselor and one who is counseled by Connie I can state without reservation that she is not only professional and learned in her practice, but brings an incredibly high level of intelligence and empathy to her sessions. Her ability to both see the objective truth in a person and situation and then accurately relate such revelations is unsurpassed. She is able to balance clinical objectivity with humanistic compassion which allow for her to be truly heard and thereby understood by those she counsels. Speaking both for myself and another I fully endorse Connie and her practice and remind all that one only gets out of such endeavors as much as one puts in. I highly recommend Connie to anyone with questions and or difficulties in their personal lives as well as their relationships; basically, all of us. read more

I had called specifically requesting a Christian counselor. When I spoke with Eric he said his caseload was pretty full and referred me to Connie Crane- saying she was a Christian. Between my husband and I, we saw her 9 times- both individually and together - trying to hang in there... but it felt more like it was doing more damage than good. We both agreed we had never seen a worse marriage counselor... in fact, it felt like it was doing more harm than good.... something we actually agreed on! If you are looking for either understanding of your issues and/or practical skills that can help your marriage, look elsewhere. We did! And we are still together- no thanks to Ms. Crane. read more
