I like the customer service at this marine shop. I stopped by on a Sunday and had an emergency! I…read morewas on vacation with my son and had plans for a day of fishing. We had issues with our brand new boat and SeaCoast Marine took the time to help and get us on the water. Love you guys, we will be back!

This place is a sham. IF you come in from out of town with an issue, the price will instantly jump…read moreup to an astronomical number. They will tell you they are super busy and will have to stop working on something else in order to fit in your repair, although if you drive by ever day, there is never anyone there working on anything, and the shop is usually closed up tight. I took my boat on vacation with us and noticed on the first day that a weld had broken on my trailer on the trip down from NY. I took it over to seacoast to see about a reapir the next day (Monday), and was quoted a repair. The price was outrageous, but I was not going to be able to head home with the way the trailer was, so we agreed on a temporary repair that would get me home (using some marine epoxy to bond the crack with an additional plate), and a final price. I told them I didnt need the trailer until Saturday, so work on it as they got time. Later that day they called me and said they were looking at the trailer again, and they thought they could make a more perminate repair if they bolted the trailer together along with the epoxied steel plate we originally agreed on. The next day (Tuesday) they called and said the trailer was done. When I arrived to pick it up, the repair was nothing more than a scrap piece of 2x4 clamped to the trailer, which was pinching my wiring in 3 spots to the point that the harness was broken. When confronted about the substandard repair (which wasnt even close to what was agreed on) the guy would not budge on price, and when I offered to give him what I thought was a more than fair amout for his time, he told me to leave and he would remove his parts and I could have my broken trailer back. He then proceeded to hide my trailer out back of his place, and it wasnt until we stopped and demanded it back that we we able to pick it up, at 4:30 on Friday night. I was able to hit the local hardware store before they closed at 5, and made the same repair to the trailer and it cost me a whole $7, and I still had to fix my wiring harness before I could leave. Steer well clear of this place.
