James Kahn was referred to me by another attorney and was absolutely a BAD attorney!! I paid this man $2610.00 to represent me in my bankruptcy case and I was un able to speak with him accept when he met with me to sign the agreement and take my money. Mr. Kahn assigned my case to his associate Krystal Ahart who was a very bad and, rude, ignorant, not professional and extremely incompetent!! They fictitiously served me with a bill ( $950.00 ) demanding more money besides what was agreed in the signed agreement which I paid already. They never answered my emails or questions pertaining to my filing. James Kahn then proceeded with withdrawing himself from my case before my meeting of creditors which is the most important meeting after he was paid in full!! James Kahn appeared with me because I told him it's in the agreement and I paid for him to be there . While at the meeting James Kahn never represented me correctly and let a creditor ask many questions not pertaining to the bankruptcy which hurt my case in front of the bankruptcy trustee. Then handed me another bill for $300.00. James Kahn never objected to any questions which his job is to protect me. I feel very strongly that James Kahn and his associate hurt me in my case and haven't received any discharge as of yet. I have made a formal complaint with the Arizona bar and investigation has been launched against James Kahn and Krystal Ahart. They are very incompetent and fraudulently attempt to get more money out of you after you have signed agreement !!! Don't retain this attorney or his associate what's so ever!! Divorce, it is difficult to say the least (one of the most difficult things to go through) but you need a team to help you through the process. Katherine Kraus is not like other attorneys where they want to get involved in every little detail. Her and her team want to make it as easy and affordable for you as possible. Some attorneys try to have you use them for every little thing possible, not with Katherine. She was very easy to work with and she streamlined everything with my divorce. These are my points as to why I feel this firm is as legit as they come..... 1. They don't nickel and dime you. Most people will blow their retainer before you even get to the table to discuss allocations between you and your ex. Not the case with this law firm. She streamlined the process for me from the get go and came up with a plan as where my ex's attorneys looked for everything possible to be involved in the divorce. 2. Responsive, they get back to you asap with any questions, you won't be waiting long for an answer to any questions you have. 3. The paralegal team is amazing, I will say "KC" is the most responsive person I have worked with. I do work professionally with the legal system and her paralegal team is by far the best out there. This is key when retaining an attorney, most people overlook this. "KC" handled most my matters instead of having to get the attorneys involved. I never felt any financial pressure from this firm, they worked with me instead of me working for them. 5. When you need an attorney to get involved in a situation with the divorce, Katherine is there, no questions asked. I couldn't be happier with her and how she got back to me on the different aspects of the divorce. Divorce is tough (very difficult) but you need a team to be in your corner. They won't bleed you out of money and they make clear and logical decisions. They have the best paralegal team out there. I had my trust in this firm from the beginning and I have had nothing but positive things to say throughout the whole process. I was able to work directly with my ex on a lot of aspects of my divorce and they were there to support me in this process and only got involved when I needed them. I hired Craig to defend me for a speeding charge in Scottsdale where it was stated that I was going almost twice the posted residential speed limit. Anything over 20 mph in Arizona is considered criminal speeding in Arizona and classified as a misdemeanor charge. I have a clean driving record but was an extremely concerned and nervous with the possibility of such a charge.
