A part of the fridge broke so our landlord contacted someone from Sandoval Appliances come out to check it out. This same part broke within 2 months. This second time was a complete headache! We contacted them about taking a look at the fridge again and this time they showed up, 1 HOUR after the appointment time and told us that they would return "in a couple minutes". Then they proceeded to leave and didn't return. The following day they did not show up. Our appointment was then rescheduled once, they did not show up for the rescheduled time, then when our landlord contacted them again for a SECOND reschedule, they still failed to show up for the appointment. I recently had a problem with my washer that is not draining any water. I was not sure who to call and did not want to spend too much money on fixing an old washing machine. I happened to drive by Temple City and saw Sandoval Appliances and notice that they do service all kinds of appliances, so I call and spoke with Peter for a schedule check. They charge $30 fees(which is cheaper than most) to come out and inspect your appliances and if you do decide to have it fix, the $30 will be added to part of your service. Peter was on time and was very knowledgeable. He help me drain my washer without fixing anything. I highly recommend this place if you have any issues with your home appliances. He informs me he'll come on Saturday afternoon to install the new motor. We stayed home on Saturday afternoon only for this reason. He was a no show on Saturday afternoon, and he never called. A wasted Saturday afternoon for us. I made many attempts to call him and find out what happened, but he never answered or had the courtesy to call us back. It's one week later and no contact from Pedro. He is either too busy, irresponsible, or both. A courtesy call goes a long way, but they evidently don't find it to be important. My mother's fridge was leaking and we called them to repair it. Her English is not the best but he told her that the sensor was broken and that he would replace it. However, on the receipt they just wrote that they defrosted the thermostat. She still paid in full. The repair comes with a 3 month warranty. The same issue started again 1 month later. She called and scheduled a return visit for 9am and the technician never showed up. After continued calls and texts throughout the day they finally replied hours later and said they had a "flat tire". Even if this was the case, why wouldn't you notify your client that you were not going to come? He promised to return that day at 6:30pm and never did. I bought a KitchenAid refrigerator from them this past Nov with an additional one year warranty. While at the store I met the owner Peter and his Dad who were both helpful and patient in informing me about the brand differences and reliability calls. I was sold on this higher end fridge and ended up buying the extra warranty for one year which I normally don't buy extended warranties but I said what the heck as you never know. 2 months past and the freezer wasn't working properly so i visited the store to setup an appointment and Peter came that day to fix the problem. Good Service! Last week the upper portion of the fridge wasn't cooling to the normal 37 degrees and again I called Sandoval's Applicanes and left a message 2 days in a row with no repsonse back. So I went in on the weekend and found Peter and told him the issue and he gladly came by to access the problem and it was noted that the evapoator fan wenr out. He ordered the part and came bck within two days and fixed the fridge. Its like brand new again COLD! Hey i understand he is busy and cannot get back to all his voice messages but if you can catch him in the store and set an appointment then he won't fail you (Great Service)!
