Our room was quite spacious but cozy, equipped w/ a queen-sized canopy bed, tv, kiva fireplace, in addition to our own bathroom AND 2-person jacuzzi bath. Very relaxing getaway to say the least. In the morning, right when we woke up, coffee & breakfast (egg benedict) was served in the kitchen. It was absolutely delish! Even better, it appeared as if we were the only guests for the night, which was nice. Some features of the b&b includes a grand piano & a library for guests, and the huge backyard provides a trail for long walks, or horse-back riding. It even has a chapel! I don't know how we managed to find this place, but i'm glad we did. Very tranquil & serene...a great getaway if you're tired of the fast-paced city life.

The views and building are gorgeous, you feel like you're in a private oasis. Also, there are dozens of games and hundreds of books available to play or read. Elaine is lovely and super sweet. She makes delicious breakfasts (served at 8:30am, just let her know if you want breakfast the next day). She is always friendly and makes sure that the freshest fruit and coffee and tea are available. It's easy to get into Albuquerque on the I-40 but it is much nicer to stay in this picturesque, calm village. I highly recommend Elaine's B&b and will definitely stay here my next visit!

We were getting up very early the next morning for the balloon festival and she had already prepared egg frittatas and homemade apple cake for us to have for breakfast. It was all delicious and we were so appreciative to not have to settle for food at the festival. She has created lovely garden spaces that call you outside, very peaceful and great for enjoying with a glass of wine or relaxing with a nap (I recommend the nap!). Her amazing breakfasts are a treat, only surpassed by her friendliness and hospitality. She also is very knowledgeable of Corrales and Albuquerque, and she provided excellent suggestions for restaurants and activities. We could not have imagined a more enjoyable stay... and Charlene is what makes it special. We were sad to leave and cannot wait to return.

I love that we can pick exactly what we want to eat, as well as accommodating to any dietary restrictions. The portion size was super generous as well! In our 5 day stay, we did not get bored of things to do, never did we leave the property once to explore ABQ or Santa Fe. This place is truly a restful, rejuvenating retreat! The wood burning hot tub was probably one of the most special moments for us there as we got to be outside in the dark watching the stars.
