Now that Top of The World has become a fish and chip shop, I couldn't be happier. I'm still able to enjoy the same great seafood, but I no longer have to cook it myself! The guys who work in the store are always super-friendly, and willing to have a chat (usually about fish!) while you wait for your lunch to fry. If you're in Concord, give Top of The World Seafoods a try. For takeaway food it's almost, if not as good, as Theo's Gourmet around the corner.

The group menu was a bit of a disappointment. There was no choice. The food was OK. Looking at the food photos from four years ago there was a similarity but just it missed the mark. The bread was not cut up and we did not have the knives to break into the crust. The penne was bland. The lamb needed a sauce, mint?, to cut into the fat. The dessert was more cream than cake. For the price paid, the food was disappointing. However, the amount of food was more than sufficient and they were prepared with doggy bags and containers for us to take away the leftovers. Maybe we should have gone for the a la carte? The service was excellent. Our waiter was very good. Parking was still no problem and on hot days if you are prepared to walk a little further you can park under some trees.

Calamari melted in my mouth too with a slight flavour of garlic mmm Crunchy chips and tasty fish coctails. They need a few more meal deals thats my only complaint. Its so good to get non doughy crisly LIGHT batter for once im so over that crap especially when its oily! Definitely recommend to any yelpers out there.

I hope they allow dogs somewhere at the front of the restaurant, as I noticed there are lots of people with dogs in the area (I'll be one of them) and I think making the place dog-friendly will give it a warmer, village feel to it.

My wife and I were tired from shopping all day and decided to take home a Crumbed Pack each. All cooked fresh in store, which took maybe ten minutes. Waiting around without a seat kind of sucked, but I was able to duck into Coles and grab some quick shopping. The portion sizes are decent and the staff friendly. There is limited seating at that end of the Westfield, so a walk to the food court at the other end might be more practical. Good price, good taste, good service! Will be back.
