I tried to find a cheaper part for my car but his prices were dead on to what I could have paid. The only downside was paying a diagnostic fee that wasn't added into the repair. I do have someone locally (Dunn, NC) that I use and he includes the fee into the service. Not sure how most other mechanics do their fees. Overall he finished the work within 2 hours and I was back on the road. He was polite and a pleasure to deal with. He didn't try to break our pockets either. I would definitely recommend him and his company to anyone.

A friend and co-worker recommended Todd to me after I told him my son's brakes on his 2011 Nissan Altima Hybrid were very squeaky (a car that I've found mechanics in the past wont touch due to it being a older Hybrid), so I reached out via phone/text and told him what was wrong, he recommended I get brake pads and told me I could drop the car off and he'd get it done first thing in the morning; soon as he got it up, he had the brake pads done very quickly, sent me photos and videos of how bad my current brake pads were and sent me video of how bad my rear bearings were and walked me through the parts I needed to get and was able to get me in for an appt the very next morning. Once complete, he took the time to explain to me exactly what was wrong and why it was so important to get it fixed asap. I let Todd know from the get go how little i knew about cars and he took the time to show me and explain everything to me in a way that made it easy for me to understand. I got there knowing I probably needed new brake pads, but Todd took the time to inspect everything while he was in there to make sure nothing else was wrong and my son got the car safely back on the road. Once we picked up the car, the squeaking of the brakes was gone and the loud noise which apparently was coming from his bearings/hubs being so rusted/fused together was now gone as well. Chris immediately insured me that I was in good hands and he was going to take care of me, and that was an understatement! He did so very much for me. I don't have the best car and it definitely wasn't safe to take 13 hrs there and back the way it was but when I left it most definitely was safe! I went there with very little money and knew I at least needed 2 tires because my tires were completely bald. And I knew I needed an alignment because I didn't want my alignment to ruin my new tires but I knew I didn't have the money for all that, he went outside to check my tires and he immediately came in and said you know you need windshield wipers it's blade to windshield and I completely forgot about that but he definitely was right (he wasn't trying to get money out of me!), I let him know only had to much money and he said no problem I am going to make sure you are going to get to and from Michigan safe with your kids! He then about 2 hrs later after he done out my car on the alignment stand and checked that and stated to me just to let you know you need front break pads, I asked him if I would make it there and back safe, and he said my personal opinion would be no. Well at this time I was already over $40 out of budget and I was panicking, well I came up wit the money because at this point I definitely trust him and he did that also. When confronted, the manager said 'I'm not a fortune teller that's just how shops work' I understand short staffing, other vehicles taking priority and emergencies. However, what I don't understand is the argument of 'well if I would've known it would've taken me longer I would've told you earlier we can't get you in (manager)'. When working directly on vehicles and overseeing the floor, as a manager I'd expect for you to have some knowledge/estimate and consideration for other people/reservations. Overall, very disappointing with the nonchalant approach and lack of consideration. It's Saturday afternoon, if you can't help everyone then at least have the decency to mention it before wasting 1.5 hours.
