Just stopped in to see what they were about since we were kind of on a limited time schedule for eating. Awesome selection, a neat and appealing showroom, and friendly staff. Will definitely go back again as they have some retro video games like Sega Genesis and Star Wars collectibles that have some interest for me personally. Wishing the owners and the new business the best of luck!

Lots of variety, collectibles, antiques, instruments, toys, and just about anything you could be looking for. Talking to the owner I found out that he had recently bought out the previous owner and was getting things organized and cleaned up. I was impressed with the wooden masks and assorted carvings they had; most were very high quality and vintage. The back room has a wide variety of items, from the usual flea market trinkets to really nice items. I found a really cool walking stick with a hatchet head, it was unpriced and the owner was great about negotiating a fair price. Overall I was very impressed with the variety and selection at Second Chance, well worth the drive. The new owner was very friendly and willing to deal. If you are looking for something vintage or antique go and check them out.

I used to love this store and have been a familiar face here for years. Unfortunately, after the…read morenew owners bought it, they decided to start carrying anything--even if it's old and doesn't work. I bought a bunch of caulking that was hardened and couldn't even be squeezed from the gun, so I had to toss it and eat the cost. Now I just ate the cost of floor paint that was mislabeled. You may save a few cents here and there, but it's not worth the dollars wasted on old, low-quality products. Keep your receipts--you'll probably be making returns. Such a shame to see new owners ruin a great store. (The employees are still great, though.)
