There's a variety of great restaurants and you don't even need to leave the property. Breakfast at Maia every morning was something we really looked forward to. As a titanium elite, we were bonvoying and I have to say, the continental breakfast that comes with titanium is plenty. And don't forget to have the orange juice, it's heavenly and included. Service was excellent each morning we were there. The servers can't do enough for you. Maia also has a very nice peaceful ambiance and the windows look out at the pool/ocean. If you want more than a continental breakfast with your status, you can pay an additional $15 and get all the hot food as well. And if you don't have status, you can pay for à la carte breakfast too or the buffet how you like. We also enjoyed Tesoro and Quinn restaurants as well. Our room was on the 9th floor and while it was very nice, it could definitely use some updating. But honestly, with all the great amenities, you can hardly think about needing a fresh coat of paint or new bathroom furnishings or more modern lighting. The room was still very nice. And I loved the bracelet they gave us that was our room key too! The bed was very comfy! The weather was super cold while we were there, however we found some time to enjoy the beach and pool. The gym was very nice as well. There is so much to do.. there's even a bowling alley for those rainy days. If you're looking for a great getaway in Florida, JW is a very nice, relaxing resort for all ages, young and old. And not to forget parking ... there's a self park lot right across the street, which was very easy or you can opt for valet. Enjoy!

Would recommend staying in a Sirene room/suite (adult only tower) if you are traveling without children. The rooms are quieter and offer additional features like access to the adult rooftop pool, breakfast, separate check-in/out lounge, separate beach sitting area, etc. The Gulf front rooms/ suites offer spectacular views of the beach and sunsets. The huge beach is great for sitting, walking, shelling, and playing. Also, lots of water activities like fishing, jet skis, banana boat, parasailing, dolphin cruises, etc. We really enjoyed starting our day with breakfast at Maia's Restaurant. Excellent buffet with omelet station (or you an order off a menu), and great service! Big Thanks to Dolly, as well as Bianca, Nellie, Ally, Calene, Kay, and the rest of the team for treating us royally. Fantastic way to start each day! We are looking forward to our next trip to the JW Marriott Marco Island.

In fact while we were standing in line at the front desk to voice our concerns, another couple standing next to us also had the exact same complaint. What are the odds that you walk up right next to the people w the exact same complaint. When i mentioned that the manager must receive a lot of complaints on this she rolled her eyes and told us she didn't. Although two other staff members (one bellman that took us to our room and another that was bringing food/room service to a room on our floor) said they get complaints all the time. Mallory, who says she's the manager, felt compelled to roll her eyes and scoff ar our complaint and as you can see from the pictures, we definitely have a southern view which is just an ocean VIEW. NOT what we paid for. They know what an ocean front is because the rooms on the other side of the hallway have what they call a Juliet balcony, picture attached, which is oceanfront. When talking to a second manager on the second day, we were told those people just know how to place their reservation as if we're supposed to know something that they knew. At this point 2 different managers, no apology. We have gone through two managers and Hilton honors since we're Gold members and are still working on getting this rectified. These 2 managers have figured out how to manipulate the situation to those of us spending considerably more money just for this view. James is the 3rd mgr we are being pushed to while wasting our vacation time. Also parking is self parking only although it says on their website they offer valet. Self parking costs $40 a night not including other resort fees. You will see our view was looking direct at the building next to us and south and in the in the second and third pictures, you will see the Juliette balcony the room across from us has. (Same price). Cleaning lady was nice enough, in between customers, to let us go in to take a look at it. Lastly, all unsecured Wi-Fi. No secured Wi-Fi available throughout the entire building and almost no reception being on the ocean.

They obviously have a great training program for their staff because every staff member we encountered was wonderful. The rooms are gorgeous, and the pool deck is to die for. I lived for my mornings out by the pool under the palm trees and listening to the birds. This place is just relaxation central, and the beach here is PERFECT. Hands down our favorite vacation club we've visited in the US, and after 15 years of trading weeks we have been to a lot!

Part of the reason we picked Marco Island is because there is a Marriott Vacation Club property there - Marriott's Crystal Shores. This was a great pick by my wonderful wife! At the Marriott, we enjoyed: - fantastic sunsets - relaxing, in the room and by the pool and at the beach - making food in our room and enjoying it on the balcony - coffee on the balcony each morning - fun at the pool - bocci, golf, trivia, socializing and more - beach / ocean time - in-room laundry - a nice bottle of wine, a welcome / anniversary gift from John, the General Manager - thank you! Away from the Marriott, we enjoyed: - anniversary dinner at 844 Gulf & Prime restaurant, about 7 minutes across Marco Island - taking an airboat ride with Corey Billie (about 15 minutes away on the Tamiami Trail (TAmpa to MIAMI)) - visiting the smallest post office in the US, on Ochopee, FL (near Everglades City), located on the Tamiami Trail - dinner at Del Mar, in Naples - - - The Property Marriott's Crystal Shores is located on the southwest corner of Marco Island, at the intersection of Winterberry & Collier. The property is in the water; there is a short boardwalk, from the lower pool, across the dunes, to the sand / beach / ocean. Most Marriott Vacation clubs are more like apartment complexes - villas in buildings usually shorter than six stories tall; Crystal Shores and some other locations are taller high rises / towers. I was curious what I would think about being in a (semi-) high rise... the tower did not matter, and in fact, us staying on the 7th of 14 floors was great as it provided wonderful sunset views! One tower was built in 2008 or so; Marriott purchased it in 2014 or 2015, and then added the other two buildings; the rooms have been renovated since 2022 or so - they are nice (below). One section of the exterior is decorated with palm leaves; the entrance has two waterfalls, one from the lobby level to the sidewalk level; another from above the lobby level to where you park for check-in. There are: - 3 swimming pools - 3 hot tubs - a water lily pond - ping pong / table tennis, pool, shuffleboard - a bar for pizza and drinks - a restaurant with beach views with a full food and drink menu - activities by the pool through the day, including: water basketball (small balls shot into 5 gallon buckets), nerf water golf, bocci, trivia, karaoke, and more - - - The room We stayed in a two bedroom villa - 1 king bedroom with bath, and a TV - 1 two-queen bedroom with bath, and a TV - Full kitchen - stove, microwave, refrigerator, dish washer; island - Living room with TV - Balcony with Hurricane doors; and table and four chairs for eating; and two chaise lounges for relaxing... or waking up with coffee - Laundry / washer/dryer in the room - - - Nearby groceries all are driving distance - The Publix, on Barfield - recommended as this is the closest grocery and the store with the largest overall selection, and with the most gluten-free (GF) items (including the Blue Diamond crackers made from rice flower and almonds - highly recommended!); to get there, drive straight away from Crystal Shores, on Winterberry, turn left on Barfield and it will be on your right - another Publix, located on Collier, toward the Collier bridge onto Marco Island - the Winn Dixie is open the latest, located in Collier, toward the Collier bridge onto Marco Island - - - Parking Most parking is in a two-level underground garage, with some uncovered parking also offered - - - Orange lighting The orange lighting seen in the photos, along the hallways leading to the rooms is the real color; presumably used to provide light for us without confusing the sea turtles during their hatching season - it's quite a nice effect at night. - - - Thank you, Tamela, GM John, the Concierges, and the rest of the Crystal Shores team, for helping us plan and have a great trip! ----- ----- -----

The office was closed due to our arrival day being Saturday and it was also Easter break so the office didn't reopen until the following Tuesday when we brought this up with the manager he offered us a 50.00 dinner voucher for my troubles. It was very insulting and disrespectful. When I told him that we will speak with his manager Michael's response was " good luck with that " We honestly looked for another facility but again it's Florida on Easter weekend everything was booked. PLEASE BELIEVE ME AND DONT RENT HERE - THE TREATMENT IS HORRIBLE AND THE MANAGER NEEDS TO FIND ANOTHER JOB - HIS MANAGERIAL SKILLS ARE NOT SO MANAGERIAL. Actually the head of the sanitation crew was apologetic and had more common sense than Michael (the manger) did.

Every time I drive down Collier and look at all the high rises I miss those days more and more. Club Regency is a condo community with mostly regular timeshare owners that come year after year for 1-3 weeks. It's small and homey and that's why I love it. Each building is 3ish stories with the first being parking and the top 2 being 2 bed / 2 bath condos. They do a good jump of updating everything throughout the years and the staff is always friendly. Again. This isn't a giant luxury hotel. If that's what you're looking for you're going to be disappointed. If you are looking for a friendly community to have a relaxing vacation sipping drinks on the beach and grilling at the pool this is your place. There is plenty of space for everyone and you won't have to fight for space like some of the other spots. Long gone are the days there were more lizards than people on Marco but if you ignore the giant castle hotel next door sometimes you can revive the feeling of what it used to be like.
