If I'm a student or teacher or city employee or medical professional or first responder or clergy or whatever family day means, I have a special day when I get 50% off. So that's $3.50. In order for me, the veteran, to save $3.50 I have to spend $35. I appreciate them giving 50% off to all those wonderfully deserving groups but as a Veteran, I'm not going to spend that much money to save $3.50. And I'm insulted that they feel I should. Their drinks are very nice and overall not as expensive as the industry standard but to me it's not worth the slap in the face. FYI, Lake City has a Veterans Hospital and a Veterans domiciliare. $7 50% = $3.50 10% = $.70 x 5 = $3.50 $7 x 5 = $35.00

The young woman helping us was so friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming that if I lived closer, I'd probably be trying to recruit her for my own business! Customer service like that is hard to find. Needless to say, on future road trips through Live Oak, I'll be driving right past the other coffee shops and heading straight to 7 Brew.
