We waited our turn to order we picked up a flat of strawberries, ordered our taco,etc. They give you a little buzzer thing which beeps and vibrates when your order was ready.Turn around time was quick less than 5 mins. Our Food was amazing it rivaled sit down mexican food . I highly recommend their tamales!! And their strawberry shakes are amazing , made using fruit from the farm. They workers are super friendly and the farm itself has a lot of neat things to look at , especially if your a history buff like me!! They have quite a bit of local produce but things not produced in the region or out of season are shipped in from elsewhere, just like any other grocery. The citrus, peppers, squash, and potatoes selection was especially good (in early Decemeber) and they have local cane syrup (from two different producers!), honey, and jams, jellies, and more. Of course, also fresh eggs and Nettles' sausage, as well. Supposedly when it's watermelon season this is THE place to come for your watermelon!

They make a perfect snack for my kids! They eat them like chips and I feel good that they are healthy too. The shopping cart system is a pretty good idea too. I like how you put the quarter into the shopping cart and then get it back when you return the cart and clip it in. Most people return their carts too so not to many extra shopping carts out by the cars. So my car is less likely to get dinged. They also sell grass fed meat and pasture raised eggs, so that's a plus! I like to shop for healthy food and this is my go to. The cashier today was quick at ringing people up and very nice. I would give this grocery store five stars. An enjoyable experience!

Two notes/tips: you need a quarter to get a grocery cart. The quarter is returned when you return the cart. Also, they don't have grocery bags, so remember to bring your own.

The Alachua Farmers Market has quickly become one of my favorite Saturday morning stops. It's not…read morehuge, but it's packed with charm, friendly vendors, and some really great food options. I love walking around, checking out the booths, and finding new local treasures. One of my absolute musts now is a matcha drink from Honey Nitro + Cold Brew. I had never tried matcha before, but a friend recommended their version with vanilla or lavender, and oh my gosh, it was creamy, smooth, and totally addictive. I seriously didn't know I could love matcha this much! Pappa Thai's summer rolls are another go-to. They're fresh, flavorful, and honestly hit the spot every single time. Light but filling and perfect for walking around with. And I can't forget Proud Pickles, they're such a fun little stand, and I'm absolutely obsessed with their items. Sweet, tangy, spicy, you name it, they've got it. I'm giving 4 stars only because I wish there were a few more vendors but I understand Gainesville is a small town. But honestly, it's still such a lovely experience and totally worth checking out if you're in the area.
