Seeing as Hilwa coffee is a variety from the Armenia/Turkey region, which is my families heritage, I got home and immediately made a cup of it. I've had coffee with cardamom before and always thought it was just ok, but the owner said the real trick is to make sure its toasted before its included in the grinds. I seen a white guy come in and out and he was after us. And another. I just had a brown sugar shaken espresso. And then I over hear another woman say - she just started her period - exact words. And then the woman in the maroon shirt mentions my drink as a diabetic shaken espresso. Wow. I'm ok to never come back. You don't me honey. I don't know you. People change their drinks all the time. The place was clean. And it's nice inside. But no thanks. I don't support establishments who act like this towards anybody. We should all be respected and feel welcome. And I tipped them too.
