I have to be honest and say I was a little scared to come. Last time I had their food was about 15 yrs ago and was afraid the nostalgia would make me idealize it. I had been coming to this place since I can remember and have great childhood memories here. Now let's talk about the visit: started with their small sampler. Veeeery generous portions. The sorullitos were the best I've had in a while. Their mofongo was still on point with the vegetable broth and carne frita. My only comment about it is that the broth had more tomato than I remember but it was still good. Service was great as wait times for food were reasonable. Place was not packed for a Saturday night. One thing I would not recommend of what I ordered, is their Sangria. Not good at all, but the food very tasty, fresh and warm. read more

Came here with a group of friends. The menu is extensive with options for everyone's liking. I got the mofongo (since we're in PR, it's a must!) and they have manyyy options to choose from. They even have a brick oven for handmade pizza, which I did not try but looked delicious! I usually don't get beef/churrasco but it was tender and well seasoned. There are different ways to prepare mofongo which I found out in this moment. I was only familiar with the classic mound of plantain with a side of protein of your choosing. But there's also relleno or stuffed mofongo as pictured here. The plantain is hallowed out and stuffed with the protein and a sauce. After trying both ways I preferred the traditional way, but that's just a personal choice, both are good. I would recommend this restaurant for a quick dinner as they have a wide menu with reasonable prices! read more

This used to be the best pizza and mofongo in town. My last time here was about 3 years ago and it was still very good then. Yesterday the pizza was tasteless even with chorizo. The mofongo was ok. Good flavor but not as it used to be. We had the mofongo con chillo and mofongo with steak. They change the presentation and it doesn't come in a pilon anymore. The sorullos saved the day. If it's for its value (price), would get 10 stars, but since have to take into consideration food flavor would have to take it down to a 4. Food is not bad, is just not the best Mofongo or best pizza you will find. The pizza sauce has oregano and it definitely makes it distinct + they serve it very hot, so it's a nice experience. Great service! I've been coming here since the 80's and I loved it, the food became a bit tasteless. They need to go back to the traditional wooden pilon to make mofongo & add more flavor. We tried the combination Calzone and the Halibut mofongo. The calzone had a great taste, not so much for the mofongo. I always try a specialty when eating out, should have stayed doing it. But like I said, the calzone was GREAT. Also service was awesome. Would visit again and try the pizza. read more

We went with a coupon they offered in guztasos. I've done this before and they've done it with no problems what so ever yet today I come in and refused to serve me because it was not in paper while other places take it from the cellphone and, in the past, they have done it as well. The manager was awful and didn't even care to help. I used to like the place but recently the service quality has gone down. Im using the coupon and it will be the last time I dine there. read more

This is considered to be one of the best pizzas in town. If you say pizza they say Sancho. It's lost it's charm I think. But I'm sorry to say that I've seen better. The sauce has nothing too special, the crust doesn't either. If you go just stick to pizzas it's what they make best. read more

This is my place to go to when I don't feel like cooking. They have good pizzas and yummy mofongo with fried pork and chicken broth. However, every time I go I have a different experience... Most times everything is great, but I've also had nosey and not very attentive waiters, food that's not too good, and once I even got up and walked out because the music was so loud that it was impossible for me to enjoy a meal. read more
