It was fine. It always an absolute zoo and difficult to enjoy. 45 mins to an hour for 3 slices of pizza.

Cannot call in order (-) told us it would be done in an hour and thirty minutes it was done in 45 we were not notified pizza sat for an hour got cold (-) The head cashier is rude to "certain" customers i still maintained a positive vibe even with her rudeness and shortness(-) She gave us a distorted soda that was flat (-) she basically labelled us as not native so she didn't care about our concerns. The pizza is really delicious!! The service is good but if you want the pizza to be cooked right away you must call ahead of time it does take time for them to cook. So, if you are inpatient you should call before arriving. Ambience is good for big groups. Very family oriented. read more

Was told they had opened late. Im not a newcomer to this establishment. Not the same pizza was flat and soggy. From NY style pizza I am acustomed to eat here. I just tried to eat a very bad fiesta patronal pizza. Owners need to get on the ball. I understand bad days are posible but it should not be reflexed in the food you serve. Papa's Pizza was so yummy! They are only doing carry out right now. We got two slices of cheese pizza and garlic knots. The cheese slices were big but I feel they could have used some more garlic in the sauce. I LOVED the garlic knots. I actually used the excess garlic for my pizza. The biggest everything ever! My friends and I were hungry and it was said that this place make a huge calzone. They were not joking. The table next to us had a huge pizza. And it was bigger than anything I've seen. We ordered the calzone with onion, peppers, mushrooms, and ground beef. It was a workout to cut it. It was so thick! It was juicy, and cheesy. I'm gonna be honest here. We were on vacations looking for fun experiences and my sisters wanted to try this pizza place because of their famous big pizzas. As today I'm not a fan, but is not the worst pizza place I have ever been and I still will like to go back in another occasion to try it again as I love pizza and I still want to try their huge pizzas. Since it was a holiday weekend and maybe that affected our experience but based on that day this is my recap: - No parking, so looking for street parking it might be slightly hard depending on the day. -Service was ... ok ... there was no suggestions and we had to ask a few times to know and the guys didnt really looked like they wanted to answer. But they did so it was ok. -Place is small we were a group of 9 we did fit in 2 tables but when the pizza arrived the pan is so big it doesn't leave you space to fit comfortable so I will suggest order to go if you are a party of 4 or more that wants to eat a lot. -We order a big meal order I will say as it had 2 pizzas, cheese bread sticks and some garlic nots I forgot the name of it and a Coke. The problem with this is as we had kids with us we asked to have a pepperoni and a bacon pizza. They give us 1 thing at a time, which make it a little uncomfortable when the first thing that came out was a bacon pizza and the kids only eat pepperoni. Not a big deal but kids crying is never fun. But again I will go back there and next time I will make sure kids eat first. -It was busy so expect a loud place -the cheese bread sticks were my favorite thing there -we order some desert and some shakes that were average I can not say I will recommend this place but I still will give it another try. read more

Found this place after our friend had to go to the hospital. His ambulance driver Miguel works their as his other job and invited us to check it out. I have been going to Cabo Rojo for years and never saw this place. A word of advice, GO HUNGRY! The portions are huge and worth the wait. The Boricua pizza was amazing. Bacon, red onions, ground beef and sweet plantains. Crust was amazing and the wings were some of the best ever. read more

i went with the family on sunday april 2 at 1pm. place had 3 tables filled and placed my order of a med cheese pie and stromboli. the order took 2 hours to come out. i can understand alot of phone orders coming in for delay but two hours for our order is extreme. so the pizza finally came out first. super under cooked super disapointed. since the owner is no longer present the staff and food quality is really bad. then the stromboli which they call a calzone came out with 1 minature cup of cold marinara sauce also was a disaster. for such a big hype of so many awards worldwide. those not meet up the hype read more

Went to Papas Pizza. Ordered a combo that came with a lot of good stuff for a good price. The pizza was good. The wait was a little extreme, waited 45-50 mins for everything, it was a bit busy, but not enough people for that long of a wait for a to go order. Seems best to maybe call in an order, pick it up or eat it there. Regardless, food is good and the gentleman who we ordered from was nice and definitely lead us in the right direction to get the best bang for our buck! read more

Spent a week in Cabo Rojo and was in the mood for a good pie. Heard raves about this place and its prize winning chef. Was jam packed and waited 40 minutes for our order. Beautiful presentation, loaded with toppings...but the most important thing was lacking in flavor, the dough, also too heavy. Very affordable for the size. read more
