I had no intention of writing a review, but after I contacted their office on May 19 and received no apology for not returning my call after I had emailed them on April 22 and called them on April 29 and left a message for Odessa, I felt compelled to do so. In addition, I read some unfavorable reviews that resonated with me. In any case, I received a letter from the IRS stating that the amount on my tax return was adjusted; they made some corrections, so after not hearing back from my tax preparer, I decided to call the IRS myself. I figured it out with the IRS after numerous calls because I was so puzzled; nevertheless, connecting with them takes a long time. On May 19, I phoned Sanchez's office and spoke with Odessa, who said she had no idea how that mistake happened. She even gave me the correct amount for my refund, but as I told her, your paperwork shows a different figure; she made me feel as if I didn't know what I was talking about or that I was lying. This is my second year doing my taxes with them. I understand mistakes happen, but pretending that you know nothing when you are the person who processed my taxes speaks volumes on her part. They came highly recommended, and I appreciate their prices, but I'm quite disappointed with their professionalism. read more

I went to this place for the first time because it had mostly good reviews, cheap prices and in person appointments but I learned thankfully before it was too late that if you want to get the maximum refund, don't go here and get your taxes done elsewhere! I went in and got an appointment with Myra. I was trying to explain the tax forms but seemed like she was occupied with something else. She passed me off to Karina because I had some forms of my minor working and she said she can work on the deductions. Karina did not tell me that I did not have to file for my child if my child makes below the deduction amount. I had to google this information and had to call her to not file for him. I was about to owe a couple hundred if I have filed. And for my taxes, she told me I was going to owe a couple thousand dollars. I could not believe it since I got a huge refund last year. So I came in and asked to cancel all my filings and to not have to pay services. It was a while going back and forth but eventually I got what I wanted. The one star is because Florence the owner understood my situation and agreed that I did not have to pay anything which is the right thing to do. So I went to my previous tax person which was further away from me since I moved, guess what? He got me a refund, I did not have to owe anything. At first I was going to owe but he took into account my closing costs since I bought a house last year so I get a refund instead. Sanchez services did not at any point even mention closing costs even when I told them I bought a house. I definitely think they're not tax experts at all. Do seek a second opinion if you want a refund and I cannot recommend this place at all. read more

I've been doing my taxes with Florence for about 5 years now and up until my last filing, everything has been good. This past tax filing however, went horribly wrong. I got married in the last year and Florence didn't update my information, and only updated my husbands. We received a tax refund that we shouldn't have and now have to return it with interest and possible penalty for wrongful filing. My husband discussed this with Florence and she admitted the mistake and that through her insurance she will reimburse the penalty, interest, and refund the service fee she charged.... but still, I understand human error can always happen, but this is very upsetting to have to deal with this headache. read more
