I contacted Sanchez Roofing because the their solid reviews on Yelp as well as Google. I met with their sales rep who was very polite and punctual. On the positive side, he informed me that my roof had sustained hail damage and that I should contact my insurance company. With that knowledge, I contacted my insurance agent and reported the damages. In the end, I received an insurance claim to cover the damages. The problem I have with Sanchez Roofing is that they would not give me an estimate of the repairs until they saw the insurance claim coverage. While I certainly am not looking to profit off of the insurance claim, I do not want to pay more than I should. I reluctantly provided the full insurance claim report and wouldn't you know it; their estimate was exactly the same as the insurance claim. Here's the caveat. Since my actual loss was last year (but unbeknownst to me), my insurance company withheld what they call depreciation. This was a significant amount totally approximately 15% of the overall claim. So the check I received was 15% less than the damages. Sanchez Roofing estimate was for the full amount of the insurance claim before the depreciation. Bottom line, my new roof would have cost me $2,500 more than the insurance company was providing. But wait, there's more! Like any shrewd homeowner, I contacted multiple companies when contemplating a major home renovation. Two companies were spot on with the insurance claim amount (after the depreciation amount had been deducted). The interesting thing is that one of them was aware our roof was an insurance claim and the other was under the assumption this was an out of pocket expense. Regardless, both (highly rated) companies were cheaper than Sanchez Roofing. One of them - $2500 and the other more than $3500. I understand each company has different overhead costs and thus estimates can vary significantly. If their quote had been provided before the insurance claim report and was higher I would NOT have had a problem with them being significantly higher and might have even chosen them based upon their reviews. However, their reluctance to provide a timely (before insurance) and competitive bid places them at the bottom. read more

Hugo showed up at my house to provide an estimate, said I'd have it by Friday. I emailed him Monday, followed up with a call and still have not heard back. I would have called others if he would have said he's too busy. He shouldn't have come to the house to quote the work if he couldn't take on new jobs. Half my roof came apart after using these guys. Looks like one of their workers fell through the roof and tried to cover up it up. Very sloppy work. Caught three of the workers firing each other off the roof like a sailor in a pirate cannon. Would not recommend. read more

I needed new siding, soffit, fascia and gutters; not a small job! Everyone has heard horror stories about contractors, so I was careful in choosing someone. I got estimates from 5-6 companies (all well rated) and chose Sanchez Roofing and Construction. They just completed the job yesterday, and I am NOT happy with the results....I AM THRILLED!!! This will be long, but if you are spending a lot of money, you may want to read this. I go a lot on first impressions, and reviews too. From my first call to set up an appointment, the woman I talked to, Sylvia, was polite, answered all my questions and set up an appointment for someone to come out. When Marcial (the estimator, consultant, sales person) came to my house, he answered all of the many questions I had. We walked around my house, I told him what I wanted. He offered suggestions, but was NEVER pushy. One thing he did, that no other company did, was go to his truck and print out the estimate, with all the details clearly defined. One other company actually scribbled it on a piece of paper, 2 others emailed me the costs, one was by phone, and one I had to call to see what the cost would be!!! If you have to work that hard to find out how much money you will pay them.....you should keep looking! So, I chose Sanchez! Their price was fair, they knew what they were doing, they seemed to WANT my business and I had good positive feelings about them. Plus, they put a new roof on my neighbor's house a few years ago, and he was happy with it. Also, other companies told me I needed window flashing, etc. that Marcial explained I did NOT need, and why I didn't. So, that made me trust them more. They did not start until a few months after my deposit; no fault of theirs; winter happened! The day they started, Hugo, the owner, came to walk around the house with me and make sure all the info he had was correct. He and his workers asked about plants and shrubs around the house; if I wanted them covered, or removed. I decided I needed 3 doors replaced, which they did during the time they did all the other work. The workers did a FANTASTIC job!!! From the first day when they showed up, they greeted me with a "Good Morning" each day, were pleasant and worked hard!! Everyone had their job and knew what it was. There were a few days they missed, because of weather, but they more than made up for it the next day. Some days they worked from 8 AM until almost 7 PM......and I mean they worked!! Hugo, the owner , stopped by here and there to check on the progress and to make sure everything was the way I wanted it. Last Friday, he worked with the crew of 4 already here, to put up the gutters. Once again, they worked until it was dark. Today, another crew of 2 came for clean up. They were meticulous!! My driveway and back yard is cleaner than when they started!!! They will come back and power wash and paint my porch, then my "new" house will be complete. I am so happy I chose this company and I firmly believe that you will be too. I think in their logo they say something like, we do it right the first time......and they do!!!!! Perfect!! read more

I am so pleased that I chose this Reputable company. They are the epitome of Skilled Workers. They are Honest and very Reasonable. Their work ethics are beyond reproach. They were Prompt, Conscientious, Courteous and worked Diligently to complete the much needed Roof Replacement in a timely manner. They even took the time to call back and do a wellness check on myself and inquired if I was satisfied with their work. I must also mention I was pleasantly surprised. Recently our living room window turned into a tranquility waterfall. Needless to say, I was not restful. I was in need of a tear-off for our wrap around porch. I contacted several companies for estimates. Hugo came out within 2 days of being contacted. He was very professional and knowledgable. He also focused on my needs, not on an upsell. These are the people who you want to do your roof! Could not be happier with Sanchez Roofing. After filling out a few online forms to find roofers in our area, Sanchez was the first to reach out to us, get to the house and give a very reasonable estimate, and even show us pictures of the roof (things we can't see without getting up there). They said they would start on a Tuesday, which fit our schedule, and then called the day before to ask if they could get started early! Of course! They worked diligently and finished within the timeframe we were given. I had some questions about the dormer on our house, and they offered me some great suggestions, emailed another estimate, and completed that work in a timely manner as well. All of the workers were professional, and they did an excellent job of cleaning up every day. I really appreciated that they emailed us pictures daily of their progress.
