Conscientious and professional. Reasonably priced and local to San Tan Valley. I would use them again.

Sleepover Rover is one of those "why didn't they think of this sooner?" ideas. Basically, it's a…read morepet sitter service, where your pets stay at someone else's house. That way, you don't have strangers in your house, and your babies aren't in a sometimes scary environment, like a kennel. Plus they get lots of attention, sine they are either there as the only pets, or with just one or two more. We got invited to a last minute weekend trip, and had no one to look after the dogs. Usually we drop them at the folks'. But this time, neither pair was available. Most kennels were full, except for the scary cagey ones. To boot, we realized one of the pups was behind on his bordetella shots. (Oops!) We were not keen on having a pet sitter come into the house. Plus, from what I read on their sites, they only come in for 15 or 20 minutes at a time, and then the dogs have to spend the night alone. Then I stumbled onto the Sleepover Rover site. I pored over it again and again, thinking there must be some kind of catch. Eventually I called, and talked to one of the owners, who was very helpful. She gave me a quote (it ran about $130 for the weekend), and told me she would see who was available. There was a decent amount of waiting, and I started to get nervous. So I called back. They gave me a name and number for the sitter, and I gave her a call. She was very nice, and invited us over to meet her and see her house before deciding. After the meeting and inspection, I was satisfied, and booked the sleepover. It went very well! The host took very good care of our dogs, and went the extra mile to make sure they were happy. When we picked them up, they were totally pooped from so much playing and activity. They just curled up and slept when we got home. All in all, the service is a little more expensive than a kennel. But I thought it was worth it for our situation, and would use the service again.

I never got a refund, the owner who called was very rude and I was told in order to get a refund you must give a 14 day notice of change. At the pick up my dog bolted out of the house without a leash when the woman opened the door and we had to retrieve him from the street. I would NOT recommend and will NEVER use this service again.

DO NOT USE THIS RESCUE!!!!…read more "D" is borderline psychotic!! Please find another rescue or charity to contribute to. We went on a vacation to Yosemite and left our dog with one of our best friends. They inadvertently left their gate unlocked and our dog that we've had for four years got out. She's chipped and we are primary contact. As part of her contract, she remains secondary contact. We were unreachable while hiking in the park. A responsible person got her contact and "D" was on a mission to come reclaim the dog that says she still "owns" because we are "irresponsible" dog owners. We explained the situation and she said she was still coming to reclaim the dog even though she had been safely returned to our dog sitter. She claimed that we were unfit and she was still coming to claim the dog. We've had this dog as part of our family for four years now. "D" was threatening to come essentially steal our dog because she got out of a gate once in four years. Here's a funny (in the psychotic and absurd way) side note!! When we once left our dog with "D" on vacation, she came back INFESTED with ticks. D casually asked us what kind of flea/tick spray we use when she gave her back to us FULLY AWARE that she just gave our dog ticks. We spent hundreds of dollars over the next few weeks with treatments and shots. We didn't ask her to pay for it at that time. Tonight, during this episode, this crazy lady had the gall to say she was going to send us a bill for gas because she was coming to "rescue" the dog that got out for an hour. D, if you're reading this (assuming you can read), I have all of the receipts. I have all of the photos and receipts and reports from our vets of your complete FAILURE to appropriately care for animals at your rescue. The minute we get home, you'll receive those bills. I'm further considering a restraining order and notifying any appropriate authority to investigate your business practices. You accused us of "egregious neglect" while we were away and she got out of an accidentally unlocked gate while we were on vacation. Meanwhile, you INFESTED our dog (and likely every other dog under your care) with ticks while you were directly in charge of her for about four days. DO NOT USE ROVER'S REST STOP!!!!!

I have some long work days (10+ hrs) and it takes the weight of the WORLD off my shoulders knowing that Theo gets picked up, plays with his friends all day, and then safely dropped off back home. In the morning he will sit and stare out the window waiting for Ryan/Kailey to come... and every time I get home he is passed out from all the fun he had. He even learned to swim during day play in the summer - he would never go in the pool before but now fetching toys in the water is his favorite! The fact that I can board him too is a DREAM! I would be terrified to leave him anywhere else (you just never know with Rover/dog apps and that is NOT worth your dogs safety OR your stress/anxiety). Theo knows and loves Aileen and Ryan so much I doubt he even notices I'm gone.. it's like a 2nd home to him! I imagine it's how kids feel when their parents go out of town and they get to sleepover at their best friends house! My first boarding experience I left for Christmas and missed him so much, but he was too busy having fun on a day trip to Flagstaff with his fur friends to even notice I left Whether Theo is here for day play or boarding, I can go about my day at ease knowing my dog is getting his physical and mental exercise in, with responsible and knowledgeable trainers in a safe environment!!! I would never drop my dog off at a daycare where the trainers aren't properly and thoroughly educated to handle/socialize dogs, just like I wouldn't drop my kids off at a school with teachers that aren't actually certified to teach. There's a laundry list of medications for the dogs and she does a great job keeping up with it all. She doesn't mind when I'm that helicopter dog mom and I check too often on my sick boy. Regardless of his illness, Michelle sends many pictures and text updates on how things are going with all the dogs. As a very protective momma, I trust Michelle completely with my furbabies and home. We love having Michelle take care of our babies... so much so that when we were planning the August trip we just completed, she wasn't available on our original dates, so we moved our trip to make sure she was available.
