It's located one block west of the Walmart MacroPlaza which is on on Highway 1, I think the street is Calle Hierro (its the street at the south of the Walmart). It's the biggest building around and surrounded by fields. One of the managers says the building is about 5 years old, but there is still not much around it. Valet parking, or you can self-park on the right side. Thru the metal detector you go to enter. Nice and cool inside of course, and pleasantly dark. You get your free player's card at the counter left of the entrance and around you should wander. At the front you are greeted by a roulette table and some card tables. Slot machines are behind and on either side. The main room is smoke free, and there is a smokers section at the back. Even back there were few smokers and the AC works well to whisk away the smoke so it is hardly noticeable. In the back room are more slot machines and the sports betting section, with multiple TV screens. Comfortable big black leather chairs to rest and watch the TV's, which are very comfortable. Plenty of friendly young staff to assist you with gambling, drinks or whatever. Cute young ladies, haha. Nice cold beers for about $2.00, from the bottle or poured in a glass. Bottled water if you don't want coffee or a cocktail. The slots are 2 cents, 3 cents, 5 cents, 10 cents and probably higher. Some of the machines are the multiple game machines where you choose your favorite from 20 or so games. This is the first time I have seen the electronic player's cards which are scanned by your slot machine to upload or download your virtual money you load on the card. The black leather office chairs are cool. I liked this casino and will be back. This time was just a quick stop to check it out on the way to the great big beach they have on the south side of town. The older San Nicolas Hotel and Casino is in Zona Centro on First Street (Avenida Lopez Mateos). That one also has a hot red Caliente Casino sign, so I assume they are related.

I usually have lunch at Baron Long bar and grill. There are a few other options inside the casino or head across the way to the Outlet Shops for more food options. The casino is nice, there are also table games. Plenty serve yourself non-alcoholic drink bar with Pepsi products, coffee and tea. Little vignettes of seating and table if you want to take a break from gambling. Bingo across the way, outlet shopping is always fun. Weather, depending on when you go. I've experienced the rain, drizzle, snow, heatwave, winds during the years I've come here.

---Very rude and disrespectful unprofessional employees.--/…read moreOn April 12, around 8 pm, I was in the casino area. A woman won a huge jackpot and went to the restroom. I was sitting two seats away from her, and two casino attendants were standing nearby, waiting for her to return. Out of curiosity, I approached the attendants to see what was happening and asked, "How much did she win?" smiling. The Latina girl turned around with a dirty look, , and the other, with long black hair tied up, responded with a stern face, "We don't disclose the amount," rudely and disrespectfully. Does she know how to say politely, kindly, "Sorry, ma'am, we don't disclose the amount"? Politely with respect? I am a regular customer who has been coming here for years and spends a lot of money. Her rude attitude is not acceptable in this kind of business. This isn't about policy; it's about mannerisms toward customers, which are unprofessional and unacceptable! This is a place where people come to enjoy and be entertained. Her nasty attitude needs to be corrected and trained. I reported this issue to their manager, who seems to be a distinguished African gentleman with glasses, and I hope he takes this matter seriously, reports it to management, and corrects this kind of disrespect and rudeness in this casino.

BAD BINGO REVIEW If you think bingo is quiet, slow, and…read moreborderline funeral energy... you haven't been to Sycuan Casino Resort for BAD Bingo (Bingo After Dark). This is not dauber bingo. This is adrenaline bingo. We're talking quick 1.5-hour sessions-no dragging, no zoning out. Buy-in ranges from $20-$60, with Level I jackpots at $250 and Level II at $500. And here's the kicker: no daubers needed. You're on a desktop screen or portable bingo machine, so the system tracks everything. That means less stressing, more vibing. And the vibe? Unmatched. Music is playing, but it doesn't overpower-it elevates. The room is full of laughter, people celebrating birthdays, couples on dates, solo players locked in, elders having the time of their lives. It's loud in the best way. Social. Electric. You can actually enjoy yourself instead of sitting there in silence like you're at a wake. Between games? That's where it gets wild. Creative mini-contests that feel like game-show energy-extra chances to win money, and honestly, just as fun as the bingo itself. Need-to-know details: It gets cold-bring a layer It's a smoking casino, so expect some residual smoke (though no active smoking during BAD Bingo) *Free self-serve soda (Coke products) *Snack bar upstairs, but the non-smoking café has better options-and you can bring that food in *You can bring your own snacks... just not your own alcohol On big theme nights, there's a free 360 photo booth (tip your attendant) Also-don't get it twisted. Even though the computer does the heavy lifting, there are still interactive features that keep you engaged. You're not just sitting there-you're in it. Bottom line: This is bingo reimagined. Fast, fun, social, and actually worth the money. If traditional bingo is a whisper... BAD Bingo is a whole damn party.

At the time there were zero other cars in valet, yet two employees swarmed my car before I could even get out just to tell me nope because of a tier policy. I needed to valet just to be able to help my brother get inside safely, but they didn't care. It is ridiculous to expect me to leave him alone at the curb while I go hunt for a spot, especially when the handicap spaces in the structure are a massive trek from the door. We felt like a total burden to the staff and were not made to feel welcome at all. Terrible first impression, Definitely won't be back.
